Is Stephen Miller have Aspergers?

His cold, robotic demeanor and his raging, dead eyes with no empathy. This is not a partisan attack. I just sense something seriously off about this guy. He was raised in Santa Monica, to a Jewish family.

by Anonymousreply 1December 17, 2018 8:43 PM

Don't over think it OP. he's just another greedy sociopathic republican.

by Anonymousreply 2December 17, 2018 8:45 PM

Sociopath.

by Anonymousreply 3December 17, 2018 8:45 PM

His speech is very monotone similar to Mark Zuck.

by Anonymousreply 4December 17, 2018 8:45 PM

sociopaths are charming and can mimic real human emotions.. This guy is so mechanical and cold. He glares with rage.

by Anonymousreply 5December 17, 2018 8:46 PM

Sociopath, just like Zuckerberg.

by Anonymousreply 6December 17, 2018 8:47 PM

Is Stephen Miller have Aspergers?

I don't know, but you might.

by Anonymousreply 7December 17, 2018 8:48 PM

R5 Its a poker face style when interfacing with the public. See Kissinger in 70s footage.

by Anonymousreply 8December 17, 2018 8:49 PM

Zuck is a confirmed aspie r6. And sociopathy and Aspergers have some similar traits- like lack of empathy. Sociopaths feign empathy, Aspies show none.

by Anonymousreply 9December 17, 2018 8:50 PM

Sociopaths know how to charm people. Zuckerberg and Miller aren't charming at all.

by Anonymousreply 10December 17, 2018 8:50 PM

There are plenty of rumors online that he is on the spectrum .

by Anonymousreply 11December 17, 2018 8:50 PM

"Sociopaths know how to charm people. Zuckerberg and Miller aren't charming at all."

Exactly!! Autistics can not be charming or engaging.

by Anonymousreply 12December 17, 2018 8:52 PM

Aspie is the condition du jour. I'm guessing you're all cradling your mugs of pumpkin spice.

He's just evil. That's all.

by Anonymousreply 13December 17, 2018 8:53 PM

[quote]Sociopaths feign empathy, Aspies show none.

Sociopaths have cognitive empathy with no affective empathy. Aspies have affective empathy with impaired (but rarely absent) cognitive empathy.

by Anonymousreply 15December 17, 2018 9:00 PM

Sociopaths MAY learn how to charm people, but not all of them do. You're incorrect in assuming that you have to be charming and appealing to be a sociopath.

by Anonymousreply 16December 17, 2018 9:06 PM

Look it up, r16. It's a hallmark of a sociopath.

by Anonymousreply 17December 17, 2018 9:07 PM

Lots of Aspies on this thread. Putin is also an Aspie.

by Anonymousreply 18December 17, 2018 9:08 PM

A sociopath can turn the charm off and on.

Why would Steven want to be charming? He’s trying to be Voldemort, not George Clooney. Trump wants a nasty, forceful killer, not a suave life-of-the-party.

by Anonymousreply 19December 17, 2018 9:10 PM

Steven's childhood and adolescence indicates autistic traits.....

by Anonymousreply 20December 17, 2018 9:12 PM

I know what it means, r17, and you are incorrect that it's a requirement.

by Anonymousreply 21December 17, 2018 9:12 PM

According to Datalounge fraus, every unlikable or downright evil character in the news is a sociopath, a narcissist, has BPD, borderline disorder or autism. They know! Their friend/ex-partner/mother was JUST LIKE THAT.

by Anonymousreply 22December 17, 2018 9:12 PM

Because charm helps when you're manipulating the public, r19.

Yes I see you found a random site that supports your assertion, and you realize that 1) you don't need all of the listed traits in order to have the personality disorder and 2) "sociopath" isn't an actual personality disorder, for specific types it's referred to as "antisocial personality disorder". Here's some information from a site that I've actually heard of. Feel free to check Wikipedia as well as the DSM. You were incorrect, just admit it.

r36 you didn't even read your own example. If you continue down the page to the DSM entry, it lists the definition of antisocial personality disorder. And if you knew ANYTHING about diagnosis criteria, you would know that you don't have to have all of the listed traits to receive a diagnosis. You're an idiot.

Also, this is your "authoritative" site that you used as an example. Some guy with a degree in mathematics and economics. Good Googling there!

Aspies have an excuse for every issue they experience in the world as not their fault due to their condition . They can meltdown in their petty rage., They can suddenly become mute and obstinate and oblivious . A lot of this is manipulative practices . They are disloyal and scheming . They look at us humans as experiments.

R64, You're an ass, as are many on this thread. People on the autism spectrum are not retarded, brain damaged, or psychopaths. Their brains and nervous systems are structured differently. They process sensory input and information differently. It is a "spectrum" because each individual is unique with regards to these neurological differences. Some are severely impaired, others may only appear a bit "odd" upon close/continued contact.

R70 knock yourself out but remember, no sane soul is gonna come to your rescue on this or any thread.

Bitch about people venting aspies are brain damaged but never, so typically of you and your ilk ask yourself, why they're so diligent and passionate in their criticisms. Even mildly effected/affected spectrum beings are a burden in some way.

Any idea the dread we felt going in public spaces with the likes of you? A simple lunch out at a cafe can never be what it is to normal people. You'll be all uptight worrying what people are thinking of you when they're really up their own asses. Nobody even notices you. Yet you still think everyone is looking at you, focusing on you. We've gotta watch what we say to the serve staff or it could end up a brawl on the way home with you. Attempting to restrain our speech and expressions when out in the world. This is why we can't stop drinking. "I could tell she/he was looking at you kind of funny" you'll claim. You're an aspie sans social skills, normal perceptions and vision. Reality? They weren't looking at us "funny". They were however thinking about what an easy mark we'd be if they wanted us for themselves. What is he/she of all fabulousness doing with this dud? IS WHAT THEY'RE THINKING!

stay alone or find someone of your own ilk. And oh yeah, never breed. You'll both have a full on hysterical autistic!

by Anonymousreply 81December 18, 2018 5:20 AM

WHy is that r33, are there any explanations for why such a high occurrence?

by Anonymousreply 82December 18, 2018 5:28 AM

R82, it was generations upon generations closely breeding because of population isolation. Basically landlocked regions additionally secured by a mountain range as well. Never on a major port route. Jump pull back and compare France to Germany. Go even deeper into Austria-Hungary. Low empathy, low warmth breeding and exponate these traits into gene pools. The germans are always a problem yet produce fine products with their obsessive nature. They're an odd bunch. Strange birds. If you had a chance to witness a high school german class let out, go back to recalling the freaks pouring out of that classroom.

by Anonymousreply 83December 18, 2018 5:45 AM

An aspie is not capable or mature enough to keep a confidence.

by Anonymousreply 84December 18, 2018 5:49 AM

R15 had it. Miller is too full of rage and evil to be anything but a 10 on the Asshole Spectrum.

by Anonymousreply 85December 18, 2018 6:05 AM

Sounds like we have a lots of MD's, DO's, or PhD's weighing in.

by Anonymousreply 86December 18, 2018 9:04 PM

OP, Miller is the epitome of privileged evil. He doesn't have the excuse of a syndrome or condition, he's just fucking evil. Not everyone you dislike is automatically on some sort of spectrum.

by Anonymousreply 87December 18, 2018 9:10 PM

Pretty much every set of personality traits can be packaged as a specific disorder, r87.

by Anonymousreply 88December 18, 2018 9:17 PM

What the hell do you think aspergers is? Can’t stand this. I raised 2 children on the spectrum. The one with aspergers is funny, sweet, and very animated. Everyone always remembers him, even though he has no idea who they are (aspergers trait). The sociopath that your talking about has no fundamental characteristic of aspergers. For one, they would never even think of doing his job. Cubicles in the corner are just fine for them.

by Anonymousreply 89December 18, 2018 9:35 PM

r89, you are autistic yourself and see YOUR world through colored glasses.

by Anonymousreply 90December 18, 2018 11:50 PM

by Anonymousreply 92December 19, 2018 12:32 AM

The "Germany inbreeding caused autism" troll sounds ridiculous. Of course in countries that have an awareness of autism, the diagnosis rates will be higher. Where's the evidence that actual rates are higher than in other places?

by Anonymousreply 93December 19, 2018 12:36 AM

You know jack shit about sociopathy, r92. No, cubicles don't make them happy.

by Anonymousreply 94December 19, 2018 12:38 AM

Here's a comparison of autism rates across the world. I don't know if the results for each country are comparable, because they were probably calculated in different ways. But I link to this page because it lists the peer-reviewed study each figure comes from.

Germany is 38 in 10,000 US is 222 in 10,000

I belabor this point because the lazy kind of sociobiology that produces "insights" like "Germans lack empathy and are from a land-locked country" was also practiced by the Nazis. The ignorance of those who pontificate on things here never ceases to amaze.

[quote]sociopaths are charming and can mimic real human emotions..

Sociopaths are people who have no conscience/empathy/capacity to love. SOME of them are also ambitious, charismatic, and exceptionally good at mimicking and manipulating human emotions that they themselves don't actually feel, but thankfully that's only a small percentage of sociopaths. They can be smart or stupid, ambitious or lazy, aggressive or passive.

People on the higher functioning end of the autism spectrum (formerly know as people with Aspbergers) can be sociopaths or they can actually have empathy and a sense of right and wrong but may be terrible at reading and processing social signals so they come off as rude, blunt, or oblivious to other people's feelings.

I think it's safe to say this particular asshat is a sociopath but I wouldn't assume he's on the autism spectrum. At about 4% of the population, sociopaths are much more common than most ppl realize.

by Anonymousreply 99December 19, 2018 12:49 AM

by Anonymousreply 115December 21, 2018 10:55 PM

I don't care what you tell me, Aspies are incapable of empathy.

by Anonymousreply 126December 23, 2018 1:30 AM

Oh, such knowledge of "Aspies" we all have. Anyhow, "Asperger syndrome" or "Asperger's" is not recognized as a legitimate disorder anymore. Someone who formerly would be described as having Asperger syndrome --- someone with average or above-average intelligence who exhibits difficulties with human interaction and demonstrates repetitive vocal tics, word usage or mannerisms --- would be described today as having a mild Autism Spectrum Disorder. As the uncle of a nephew who was diagnosed with autism maybe 20 years ago, I can assure you that people on the Autism Spectrum can feel empathy and sympathy and kindness towards others -- they simply struggle to convey it in a way that is recognizable to those not on the spectrum. Which isn't to say that some folks with autism aren't assholes -- some indeed are. Big assholes, even. But their asshole-ism is not a symptom or by-product or their spectrum disorder anymore than it would be caused by their blond hair or brown eyes. I think being anywhere on the spectrum would make it impossible for Stephen Miller to negotiate the networking required to advance to the position he has assumed. I simply think he is a bargain-bin asshole who realized in high school that he could get a rise out of his Santa Monica liberal community by being a race-baiting, contrarian jerk and then realized shortly thereafter he could make a living at it. There is a temptation to place every oddball on the Autism Spectrum somewhere that I wish people would resist, because it has a tendency to reduce a legitimate diagnosis to a sort of synonym for "self-centered jerk."

No, he's just an evil, badly socialized cunt who probably played video games 20 hours a day as a kid and sees everyone as expendable.

He would have killed his own grandfather.....literally, with the agendas he's promoting.

Autism is brain damage - sometimes it may be the way the brain is wired is incorrect, sometimes it may be parts of the brain aren't functioning the way they should. You can't look at r122 and say that's what nature intended. There is something inherently broken in their heads. Sure it may occasionally produce a genius savant, who has extreme functioning in one section of the brain but is missing others, but for the most part it seems like a living nightmare.

by Anonymousreply 129December 23, 2018 2:07 AM

It's all an act. He thinks his stone cold demeanor impresses and intimidates people. I think he has very low self confidence,

by Anonymousreply 130December 23, 2018 2:11 AM

R15 Agreed

by Anonymousreply 131December 23, 2018 2:13 AM

Miller & Miss Lindzey have clashed over immigration policies. DJT listens to Miller.

by Anonymousreply 132December 23, 2018 2:40 AM

He just needs some pussy.

[quote]Autism is brain damage

Brain damage suggests their brain was normal to begin with. Autism is a disorder of altered neural growth.

They're not smart R115. Rote memorization does not equal intelligence.

by Anonymousreply 135December 23, 2018 6:58 PM

R30, I don't know about Miller, but your chart perfectly characterizes Trump.

by Anonymousreply 136December 23, 2018 7:02 PM

R115 said nothing about his son excelling at rote memorization, R135. That's just you and your stereotyped conception of autism.

by Anonymousreply 137December 23, 2018 7:09 PM

The daughter on chair in R122. Imagine? I'd ship that kid off to a therapeutic group home to spare my one kid worth saving. That's full on abuse that's gonna cause a lot of rage in that girl later on.

The lesson here is that mom spawned a freak. That's the lesson you dumb bitch!

by Anonymousreply 138December 23, 2018 7:09 PM

Aspbergers is no longer used as a description for a disorder. One would say he is on the Autism Spectrum. I’m sure he is on the high end but his odd behaviors may qualify him as autistic.

by Anonymousreply 139December 23, 2018 7:15 PM

I would date an autistic before a sociopath any day.

by Anonymousreply 140December 23, 2018 7:23 PM

Is it though R137? When an autistic memorize a train schedule on every line? Is it just my stereotypical opinion of stimming behaviors? Is it my opinion of rocking on the floor, spinning plates? Down Syndrome traits just my opinion? My opinion that Africans don't have straight, shiny hair?

You're a lonely, abandoned disenfranchised weekend troll with plenty of time on your hands. Ruining this site for everyone.

by Anonymousreply 141December 23, 2018 7:27 PM

Stephen Miller and the cold dead look of eternal rage and deep hatred on his face is how conservatives look and this is something I have been noticing more and more recently.

Seriously.

by Anonymousreply 142December 23, 2018 7:28 PM

Not all autistics are into memorizing lists or facts.

When he was a teenager he used to be a regular caller to KABC talk radio. (that wasn't that long ago! He certainly has come far pretty quickly despite his politics.)

by Anonymousreply 144December 23, 2018 7:50 PM

DJT listens to Miller and acts on his recommendations. He's the guy, for example, that advocated for the separation of children from parents at the border detention centers. He also opposed the Senate agreement to approve DACA in exchange for border wall funding. Trump listened to Miller and the deal failed.

by Anonymousreply 145December 23, 2018 8:32 PM

Didn't the separation of children from parents stem from making it a felony to enter illegally? So the parents were arrested rather than placed in holding centers. No?

by Anonymousreply 146December 23, 2018 9:36 PM

This is from June but it still tickles me. Anybody live in DC near him?

by Anonymousreply 147December 24, 2018 12:47 AM

Sorry, r141: you are narrow-minded and ignorant and I'm surprised others haven't called you out.

by Anonymousreply 148December 26, 2018 7:58 PM

Very few of us mere mortals could afford to live near Miller, r147. He has a condo in the new City Center development downtown, and it doesn't get much more high-end than that. Google The Residences at City Center if you want a look.

by Anonymousreply 149December 26, 2018 8:02 PM

Donny Wahlberg has ASS-bergers and I want to taste them.
