They're a minority party anyway, because their base has shrunk to lunatics and extremists. So they are ripe for a third party challenge. More moderate Republicans could totally abandon Trump's party, and start something new. They will definitely lose in 2020, but this will lay the groundwork for them to totally kill this extremist influence and maybe rebuild a legitimate political party. I don't give a fuck if they never win office again if they continue to embrace the same policies they stand for right now.

What's going on with the Gulen extradition, in light of all the recent developments in Flynn's case and the arrest of his colleagues. I just read that Trump is still waving that red flag, re extradition. Would he still be brazen enough to try to do this (dumb question, I know) and can he actually achieve it?

Can Gulen ask for asylum in Canada, can he ask the Canadians in advance via back channels or does he just show up at the border?
