Shan’ann was decent human being. But she was also pretty codependent, and immature. So were her girlfriends, even though I feel that they were also good people.

Personally, I would not discuss my marriage so liberally with others. Why? Because the only person who knows what to do in a situation like this, is YOU. Discussing one’s marriage ad infitum is not necessarily a bad thing, but honestly, it won’t help resolve your marital problems.

I do not believe that Shan’ann told her girlfriends everything, anyhow. Chris had most probably abused her physically in the past. Abused women tend to have a sense of shame and self blaming. Even if they’re assertive, they will somehow take responsibility for the abuse.

I have to disagree with the commenter in the other thread that said Shanann was physically abused by Chris and lost her job at the hospital because of the beatings making her late. That’s retarded. If he was abusive to her at all, it was emotionally or psychologically, by withholding affection or approval. Even when he killed her, he didn’t beat her.

She was in control of the finances.

She set the schedule of their lives, not him.

I agree that Chris was not abusing her, Shanann was in constant contact with people every day, she was very social and they had people stay with them for months. She wouldn't even let him hang a picture, per her own texts he had to ask for permission. These areas are remote, and desolate. No one is around.

When detectives went on site, in order to locate Shan’ann and the girls, they found Chris’ feces on the grounds.

When Chris’ GPS data had been reviewed, he was asked by the detectives, why he had stopped in this particular area, for x amount of time. He told them that he stopped here because he was checking on oil tank releases, and had to take a dump, along the way. Indeed, toilet paper and feces were close to the oil tank that housed the bodies of his kids, while their mother’s corpse laid nearby.

He used the poop excuse as an authentic alibi for the prolonged stop. It also allows us to see how quickly he had to move while disposing of his family, in order for the time line to be acceptable.

These areas are inhabited by nothing but indigenous wildlife. He picked this place due to familiarity, and a high comfort zone.

R316, there are various versions of the tree nut incident. The doc dump did have Shanann’s scolding text to Chris, along with her threat that she’ll never allow Chris’ parents to be alone with the kids again.

Shanann posted about it on some food allergy board - just like she posted on other illness boards. I’m doubting she and the kids really had the illnesses she claimed they had. How common is it for a single woman to have Munchausen, and then when she has kids, have it turn into Munchausen by proxy?

The kids were part time at Primrose School of Longmont daycare which is not 25k. It’s more like 12k. He also said Shanann’s salary was 60k. Neither values seem to be true.

I think Chris was very smart in his areas. Like many people on the autism spectrum. One of his nicknames at work was “Rain Man” because he had extensive knowledge of whatever it was they all did; he seemed to be a gifted mechanic. You know how in horror or crime movies, the protagonist has someone after them relentlessly? And no matter how fast they run or where they try to hide, that antagonist is right at their heels? Another thing in the document dump: Chris was googling shit like: “When to tell a person in a new relationship that you love them”, and “what does it feel like to fall in love?” That right there, is weird as fuck.

My take is that Chris’ ability to feel deep emotional, and complex feelings, was stunted, or just not there. He liked sex, a lot. He knew how to have lots of sex that made him happy. He was also happy when women paid him attention, because he had been starved for it as a child. But CW really didn’t go deeper than this.

I also believe he was an Incel who got lucky. High probability of spectrum disorder, coupled with the inability to feel deeply or genuinely. This explains his ability to kill his little girls.

I think with the “Rain Man” stuff and his “stunning” ability to memorize facts and information (plus a “photographic memory”) combined with his obvious extreme lack of social or emotional intelligence, he was likely on the spectrum as many are guessing here.

No way would that have been diagnosed or noticed properly in small town NC in the late ‘80s early ‘90s era that Watts was a kid/teen in.

His parents even described him as always very quiet growing up and not speaking much. But they thought he was totally normal (aside from that).

I don’t think Shanann let Chris handle the finances, that’s why his daycare and salary numbers were off. That’s why she got the credit card notification of a charge at the Erie restaurant. A lot of the unsecured credit in the BK was ridiculous retail junk (Belk, Pier One, Nordstrom, Macy’s, Toys R Us, Furniture Row, American Furniture). I doubt Chris wanted 5k in clothing.

On YouTube, and another site, someone is posting more about the nut incident. The poster states is was vanilla ice cream in those little individual cups and Cindy Watts gave one to another grandchild. Shan’ann asserted the package didn’t guarantee that the ice cream was made in a tree-nut-free environment and thus the argument started. Who knows if this is true.

In the final days before the murder, both Chris and Shanann were planning romantic getaways — Shanann made plans for her and Chris to go to Aspen to “reconnect”, while Chris was searching vacation spots to visit with Nichol. And of course they could afford none of this because they were in debt up to their ears. Plenty of delusion to go around.

Anyone who watched all the Shan’ann videos think Celeste might have had ADD or something similar?

She’s usually in constant motion, cannot seem to focus in any way when being spoken too directly, is mostly non-verbal, and was always either running or throwing her body off a dangerous surface or something. It was manic and constant.

Shan’ann also says one video that Celeste could never sleep for more than 3 hours at night and always woke Shan’ann (and Chris?) up at 3:30am (or maybe it was 4am? Something crazy early) ready to start her day and needing breakfast, etc.

If one applies sufficient pressure to the carotid artery, the one receiving the pressure can go into unconsciousness in as little as 10 seconds. This choke hold also explains the preservation of the hyoid.

Another highly disturbing detail, is that during Chris’ confessional statement to LEOs, he said that the reason he disposed Shan’ann’s pillowcase, is because the pillowcase was smeared in black mascara, and was wet from tears and saliva.

That really got to me. Shan’ann did not in any way deserve this. This man is a fucking monster, and completely dead inside.

Also, when LEOs uncovered Shan’ann’s shallow grave, she was positioned on her knees, with her face in the ground, with her fetus expelled.

The submersion of the children in the oil tanks, and the painstaking recovery of their bodies, is also fucking heartbreaking.

God, this man is completely living in his own little world, and probably isn’t capable of feeling anything about this.

The kids medications were only for asthma inhalers, Singulair (another allergy med), and a med for acid reflux for Bella. It did not include an EpiPen, which would be prescribed if CeCe had an allergy to nuts that could kill her from anaphylactic shock. I suspect it was more a IgG response allergy, not life threatening but can make you feel like crap if you eat it.

Also from the documents, Jeremy Lindstrom who worked with Shanann and Chris at the auto dealership said that he didn't think Shanann really had any of the diseases she claimed. He said they would be watching TV and an ad for some medication would come on and every time Shanann would claim that disease for herself. He said they didn't talk much because she was always going on about her myriad of health problems.

Here was another interesting tidbit, from the interrogation by Special Agent Coder, in which CW said SW killed the girls, then he flew into a rage and killed her.

I told CHRIS it appeared SHANANN may have been up purchasing haircare products at 2:30 A.M. on her cellphone and her credit card was denied. CHRIS said he wasn’t aware of the purchase if it occurred. I asked CHRIS if SHANANN got upset with him because they didn’t have any money and he said he wasn’t aware of the attempted purchase."

Oh and in regards to her not putting up a struggle, one of the autopsy documents said that SW had a repetitive geometrical pattern imprinted on her neck, as though it was embossed by a chain.

So I am guessing he came up behind her, used a chain or a belt and choked her that way, not with his bare hands. If that was the case, she wouldn't have been able to fight ---- she would be immediately cut off from air. The report also said that the only two other marks on her neck were related to her fingernails where she apparently tried to grab the ligature and loosen it. So the intensity of the immediate loss of her ability to breathe probably made fighting him off less a priority.

I asked CHRIS if each girl was going to be in a separate tank and he said yes. CHRIS then advised he didn’t know how much fluid was in the tanks. I asked CHRIS if he could hear them drop and he said BELLA’s tank seemed emptier than CECE’s tank."

"SA CODER and I thanked CHRIS for speaking with us and SA CODER asked CHRIS if he was hungry. CHRIS said he felt bad eating our food. SA CODER brought CHRIS two (2) pieces of pizza and a bottle of water. (Note: I gave CHRIS an additional two (2) slices of pizza a short time later, which he also consumed.) "

Members of the CSP Hazmat team entered the east tank and recovered a deceased, female child, later identified as CELESTE WATTS. CELESTE was covered in oil and was brought out of the tank in a white decontamination box that had been affixed with rope handles. CELESTE was wearing a pink nightgown and I could see she was also wearing a pull-up."

I asked her why you would be calling me and she said it could be because of the texts we exchanged and then she showed me. I'm sorry I don't have any messages before that. Would you like me to still send you everything starting Aug 21st? Also, I left you a voicemail regarding a question I have. My question is if the text messages you have are going to be made public matter. I shared very personal information about mine and my boyfriend's intimate life and I I'm concerned about what will be released. Please let me know or call me for any more questions."

Then Special agent Galbraith says, Let me consult with my partner.

So then Special agent Galbraith reports: "On 09/07/2018 I attempted to clarify this with NELSON, “I asked her why you would be calling me and she said it could be because of the texts we exchanged and then she showed me.” I texted NELSON and called her. The phone went straight to voicemail like it was off. On 09/07/2018 NELSON responded: She showed me the old text messages on her phone the night before last (09/05/2018) when she was here at my house. We had went to Verizon earlier on that same day so she could get a new phone since the one she had wasn't working well. It must be that the messages were backed up and transferred over to the new phone."

So apparently, our Miss Kessinger scrubbed her phone, but kept copies! Which she was not forthcoming with to the investigators.

Then they interviewed a guy who knew Trent Bolte in drug rehab (Damian Ferns): " FERNS reported that he knows TRENT BOLTE from drug rehabilitation in 2011 and then BOLTE used FERNS social media photographs on a gay site without FERNS’ knowledge, which prompted “gay dudes from Grinder or something to start hitting me up.”

"FERNS used Facebook Messenger to message BOLTE and told him to stop using his pictures or he would “kick his ass” and report him to law enforcement"

"FERNS called BOLTE a “weird dude” who sought attention from everyone at rehab. FERNS said that this must be his effort at getting attention, because he never had a relationship with BOLTE and BOLTE never gave or sold FERNS a cell phone. There were then some little tidbits that contradicted Ferns, then that contradicted those contradictions, so its all unclear as to what to believe.

Still if all of these were present at 1/6 the intoxication levels (30 ng/mL), then perhaps this sum total accounts for some of the "thrive" buzz.

The other drugs were in the toxicology reports which were not, in any way, commented on by LE. They were reported as nanograms per gram or as nanograms per ml. I made note of that in what i wrote. The two different units make it difficult to compare.

The summation of events and investigations regarding this case is lacking in various aspects, and poorly written.
