While Leo's delivery was amusing, the script for today was all exposition retelling Leo's story so far. Even up to the last line when Leo said he wanted Sonny to marry him, there was really no new developments other than revealing Leo's death was greatly exaggerated and that he had been spying on them (kind of surprise there was no foreshadowing of this at all). Moreover, Will was essentially just standing around with not much to do and just a few line to say.

Greg is stealing the scenes from under FCF and Chambo the last couple of days. I wanna see Leo and Will have a real scene together without Sonny in the way.

So I am told that each of the 4 remaining soap operas will not make a decision without running it by Alan Sarapa of twitter fame. The shows run EVERYTHING by him first.

I’m loving Leo’s dialogue so far, reminds me a bit of Vivian’s return, evil bitchy sarcastic funny stuff. Makes WilSon even duller, tho.

Speaking of embarrassing yourself...who are you even talking about, Moses? I’m assuming this is a character from one of those radio programs I read about it in a film class.

The last time Leo was ranting away, Will got in his face and got strangled for it, so I guess Will must be a bit wary of the psycho this time around. But whoever wrote this scene gave all the good lines to Leo and didn't really give WilSon many good repartee. It was like Leo was the star rather than WilSon.

The issue with Chandler Massey has always been that he gets energy from his scene partners. You can tell when he's into it and when he's not. Will has sparked with everyone, except Sonny. I have never thought that Freddie Smith has ever even met Chandler half way in their scenes together. In fact, Freddie doesn't bring it in his scenes with anyone. If you recast Sonny with someone dynamic, you will see the difference in Chandler.

Wilson has a fanbase and they need a payoff. And it's not right that this group doesn't get some kind of reward. So while the rest of us suffer, I'm glad that this group gets a win for their couple.

I need a Leo/Will scene alone to see how they (both characters and actors) act around each other... Right now, Will is essentially written as the third wheel whenever Leo is in the room with WilSon.

Chambo is still trying to find his way. College didn’t work out for him. He’s too dumb. He left Days thinking that he’s a hot commodity and could get better acting jobs, but that didn’t work out. Now he’s back at Days working 34 days a year (they tape scenes from multiple episodes each workday) and playing video games the rest of the time. Chambo is what we call a LOSER.

R166 Also, this whole week, Leo was the star (GR milked every second of it!), retelling the convoluted plot and revealing dark secrets. All WilSon could do was react to him. The writers need to let WilSon regroup and be proactive again.

R173 Since Will came back to Salem in 2009, the sequence of actors went like this:

Watching his scenes with Sonny and Leo, I figured out what sometimes bugs me about his portrayal: he likely doesn’t wear contacts on set, and if you look at some of the off-screen photos you can tell he wears a strong prescription. Difficult to maintain strong eye contact across a distance when it’s a messy blur, and he looks a lot more “engaged” in his convos when it’s a more intimate setting.

Poor Chambo is being panned for his performance (or lack thereof) by Sarapa. Chambo's disconnect and lack of energy in his scenes this past week was pretty glaring, but I wouldn't jump to saying recast when Chambo just had a bad week.

They shouldn't recast. Just get him a more inspiring screen partner.

Of if they recast Sonny with someone hot, maybe Chambo would perk up!

Of course the issue is Freddie Smith. Chandler was raised right and has good manner, but he hates working with Freddie and it comes across in their scenes. Recast Sonny with someone who is going to play that character the way he is supposed to be played. If only Guy and Judi had not interfered when Ken wanted to fire him.

I think it's noticeable how well Chandler worked with Christopher Sean. Their scenes - though mostly lame - worked because the actors had chemistry. I totally bought in (and swooned) over how Paul was protective of Will. Chandler was alive in those scenes and now he has to play Will as someone who couldn't wait to get Paul out of his life so he could run back to Sonny. It just doesn't wash. It makes Will look worse than his mother ever did. Flick on, flick off the switch. No subtle guilt and no remorse. Paul's gone and totally forgotten. The only one who brings him up is Leo. That makes the writing for Will look even worse.

They could have believably written that Gabi had had sex with Andrew to keep him on side and continue to help her. .. He was actually kind of cute, and when he was on Days, he was more the dark blond (like the photo of him on the right), plus he has very blue eyes.

Well, she gave her stamp of approval to Killer Ben so that pretty much sums it up. Oh yeah, she raised Sami, too so that should tell you all you need to know.

Seems she fits the “Cobbler’s kids have no shoes” stereotype. But the way she handled Will’s struggle and coming out had me in tears and for those scenes only those two will have my eternal gratitude.

Chandler is at least of average intelligence. I say above. Being bad at schoolwork happens for some. Including intelligent, otherwise successful men and women. I think Chan is a very naturalistic actor and he shines with other actors who share that. Like Chris Sean and Dee Hall. Freddie seems too manic with Chan but I really am seeing FS's comic timing with Greg R. I wish Leo and Sonny WOULD become a real couple.

FCF just can't act. Where did Days find him? Chan was did film and television and plays before being hired on Days. They must have just dragged FCF off the street pulling one of his side hustles.

Where did Days find FS? He was a model turned actor, who had national commercials and a gay role on the reboot of 90210 under his belt. He was young, thin, Greek Kiriakis looking and complimented Chan in their screen test. Chandler has said in a number of interviews, he knew FS was going to be chosen and hired. And yep. Here we are, years later.

Which was rather unmemorable to say the least. I think all combined his five episodes on 90210 amounted to something like 10 minutes of total screen time .. lo! .. As I recall, there were a couple of episodes where he just stood there or sat around as Teddy's underfive date. .. I'm not even sure if he had any lines in the season finale where the group was partying at the beach. It was really dull.

I still like Will. Why would he not ask John for help? John is his grandfather, who also happens to do PI work. He was the one to uncover Leo had a criminal record and was using an alias. Will was John Black's family, way before Paul arrived. Regardless, Will is actually sensitive to how John may feel. Marlena may tell him to ask John.

John is way closer to Paul than to Will, who's only his step grandson. John and Paul worked together for a couple of years. John has only seen Will sporadically since his resurrection.

This is actually going to backfire on Will. He is looking for Leo's mother and when they find her, they are going to wish they hadn't.

But Ron has to force it to work, because...plot. Injecting John Black, a fav of Ron, into this plot may be because Leo's mother will turn out to be Diana Colville afterall.

And Leo will be yet another spawn of bad-ass John Black. The Jarlenians will shit if John has two gay sons both of whom have fucked Sonny and still possibly in the future, Will.

I can’t wait to see what version of bored Chandler plays in his scenes with Drake.
