She looks great at her age too. I think she'd make a fine president for this country too. Before the naysayers come cunting, I know she's despised by too many, too old to be a viable option, etc.... I'm not American either, so perhaps I see things a bit differently.

Comparing Pelosi to Hillary, I do wonder if some of H's perception problem was due to the fact that Hillary never really hit a style note beyond "pantsuit" and seemed uncomfortable with the whole notion of fashion and style, while Pelosi just owns it.

"Nancy Pelosi on Trump and the Future--The House speaker and highest-ranking female politician in the U.S. government sounds off on her hope for the future, her personal style, and what she has in common with Cher."

[quote]André Leon Talley likens Pelosi’s look “to the late, great Jackie. It’s stylish simplicity empowered by natural confidence,” he tells me. “She has powerful stiletto stamina. At the age of 79, she walks tall, and those pointed high heels speak truth to power. Her uniforms, her suits and dresses, and that classic, cool Max Mara coat do not outshine her. They are simply fine armor.”

by Anonymousreply 108December 6, 2019 2:46 PM

And, here we go...

Nancy Pelosi and the Persistent White Pantsuit

The white pantsuit has become, against all odds, one of the most powerful emblems in Washington, D.C.

I know, I know. You’re thinking: not again! Not another story about a white pantsuit! But there’s no escaping it. That is the point.

It has become a statement in itself, layered in meaning and nuance; loaded with history — recent and long-ago; an unspoken nod to justice in the face of power. And it is increasingly wheeled out, remorselessly even, by those who wear it in times of high drama and national attention.

In fact, it’s barely a suit anymore. It’s a symbol.

So there was Nancy Pelosi, the speaker of the House, on Thursday morning, standing in the ceremonial speaker’s hallway framed against a backdrop of American flags, as she announced that the House of Representatives would begin drafting impeachment articles against President Trump. She was grim of face, resolved of mien, looking down the long corridor of history, her hands clasped before her — and wearing a white pantsuit.

It was the same sort of white pantsuit that she wore in February during the State of the Union address, when the Democratic women of the 116th Congress had resolved to wear white in honor of the suffragists, in celebration of their record numbers and in protest of Mr. Trump’s policies. (At that time she also wore a white shell underneath; this time, she chose a black version, with black pearls around her neck, perhaps in a nod to the somberness of the occasion.)

The same sort of white suit Hillary Clinton wore to take her place as the democratic nominee for President.

The same sort of suit that then became a hashtag and a Facebook group for women who dreamed of electing the first female President.

The same sort of white suit that current Democratic presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard has been wearing onstage during the last three debates as she makes her case for her own electability (albeit with a somewhat different effect).

And the same sort of suit Melania Trump wore in 2018 to that State of the Union, in her first appearance after the allegations broke that President Trump had conducted an affair with the pornographic film star Stormy Daniels.

This could all be a coincidence, of course. Anything is possible. But given the intensely public nature of almost all these events — given that they were all filmed and streamed and photographed for front pages the world over — it’s hard to imagine Ms. Pelosi just reached into her closet this morning, knowing what she was about to do, knowing the image of her speech would be captured forever, and thought, “Oh, I’ll just wear whatever comes to hand.”

Certainly, Ms. Pelosi has long understood the power of color, and the way it can be a part of the politician’s playbook, even as she is focused on more important issues. Indeed, she has experienced its effects twice in the last year alone.

Offsite Link
by Anonymousreply 109December 6, 2019 2:51 PM

The first time was last December when she wore a burnt orange MaxMara coat to sit down with the President, and declared, “Don’t characterize the strength that I bring.” The viewing public latched on to the garment as a symbol of her firepower.

The second time was the next month, after her election as speaker for a second time, when she raised the gavel on the opening ceremony of Congress in a bright fuchsia dress, one that stood out in a sea of dark suits like a beacon announcing her unapologetic femininity, and renouncing the idea that any woman would have to dress like a man to be a leader, ever again.

Her choice to eschew such colors, or even the Armani taupe she wore when she and Chuck Schumer, the Senate minority leader, delivered their televised rebuttal to Mr. Trump’s border wall address the same month, for a shade that — even beyond the obvious (and admittedly trite) associations like peace, purity and new beginnings — has become so entwined with the optics of current competing political narratives is worth considering.

Not as much as her words, obviously — not as much as the idea that “our democracy is what is at stake,” as she put it, and not as much as what could happen next.

But in a world where the president has made his own clothing, be it a red MAGA cap or a dark suit and glowing red tie, a proprietary form of shorthand — and weaponized his campaign merch — the white suit is its own unspoken retort. It may never be something you wear only between Memorial and Labor Days again.

Elizabeth Warren's style is boring, but she is thin, fit, and youthful-looking. That energy is attractive, and the lack of it is part of Hillary's image problem imho.

by Anonymousreply 114December 6, 2019 3:00 PM

Speaking of Elizabeth Warren, though her clothes are boring, she has honed a look for herself with those simple cardigans. Anyone know if she favors one brand? It seems like she orders the same outfit in different colors.

She slays every time I see her on TV. She's got to be one of the best dressed politicians ever. There's got to be a stylist team putting all these custom suits and outfits together for her. She changes looks twice a day sometimes and looks flawless each time she is on TV.

Nancy Pelosi Wore Her Best Funeral Outfit For the Impeachment Vote

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi entered the House floor of the Capitol building on Wednesday wearing a knee-length high neck black dress, accented with gold touches: gold necklace, gold bracelet, and gold Mace of the Republic pin. The mace symbolizes the authority of the House of Representatives, and there’s a deliberateness in its appearance: She wore it during an October press conference about President Trump’s dealings with Ukraine, as well as during President Trump’s State of the Union address earlier this year.

It also looks like something straight out of the Game of Thrones wardrobe department. Hand of the King pin, anyone?

Pelosi wasn’t alone in her dark decor. NBC News reports that congresswomen informally planned to wear dark colors for the day’s events, which Rep. Debbie Dingell—who wore an ensemble of gray and black—said was meant to signal the somber tone of the impeachment inquiry.

Other Congresswomen like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Pramila Jayapal, Barbara Lee wore a variety of blacks, dark purples, and navy blues; Debbie Wasserman-Schultz even wore black and dark blue in the same outfit! But not everyone got the memo: some wore an assortment of reds, fuschias, and even white instead. This certainly wasn’t the collective effort that wearing all white during the State of the Union was, but it was an effort all the same. Some brave congresswoman should have gone the extra mile and went for a full-out trad goth look to really push the somber talking point, but I digress.

The House of Representatives are halfway through an exhaustive day declaring their opposition or support of the two articles of impeachment lobbed against President Trump; one for abuse of power, the other for obstruction of Congress.

“Our founder’s vision of a republic is under threat from actions from the White House,” Pelosi said at the beginning of the day’s proceedings. “If we do not act now, we would be derelict in our duty. It is tragic that the president’s reckless actions make impeachment necessary. He gave us no choice.”

R182, she's had that red coat for years. There was a lot of interest in it after that incident and that's what she said. I think her own taste is very good. In addition to her policies, it is probably something Gunn likes about her.

I disagree, R139. She may have taken general advice, but the media would take great joy in running articles about her being a limousine liberal if word leaked about her having a stylist. And it would. Republicans hate her and would love to shift the narrative.

by Anonymousreply 167January 19, 2020 1:15 AM

R161, it's not a wig. She absolutely can fix her own hair in the morning. She raised 5 kids, she's had a similar hairstyle for years. Of course she knows how to fix it and quickly. It was professionally done for Bill Maher's show but her hair stylist in DC is available at a phone call or a text when she's there. Pelosi has been in DC over 3 decades, which is a lot of good business over the years. Having a client like her is great for business.

I agree. Her outfits are always striking and she wears them so well. It’s really exceptional in this city.

by Anonymousreply 176January 19, 2020 12:16 PM

If you will notice, Nancy has a distinct style with her "work clothes." The neck lines rarely vary, and the suits have soft structural lines. Nothing "boxy" but very well tailored. She also uses color well. Sometimes professional women feel like they need to dress like men with black, navy and grey, and little else. Nancy accessorizes well too, with her scarves and jewelry. Never over does it, very tasteful. You don't have to be a multi-millionaire to dress like her. Her clothes may be top of the line, but her style is something most women could learn from.

by Anonymousreply 177January 19, 2020 1:12 PM

If we didn’t despise her so much, would we be crazy about how the first hooker dresses? She is more hit-or-miss than Nancy is, but I have to admit I like her style overall. It’s structured and tailored, both conservative and colorful and often a bit avant garde.

The dystopian “I don’t really care do U” jacket aside, I like her wardrobe for the most part.

Agreed. You don't have to spend a lot of money to have a look like Nancy's. Her look is not as much about fashion as it is more about style. Everyone can learn style. R174 encapsulates it best in my opinion;

[quote]The clothes don't work her, she works the clothes--there's the secret.

by Anonymousreply 179January 19, 2020 1:34 PM

I often notice watching various female pundits and reporters on TV, and the candid shots of a lot of women in Congress, members & staff, that what many of them could use is a good tailor. You can buy something off the rack, but get it fitted and tailored so the fit is "made for you." It really isn't that expensive.

We aren't here to discuss Melania's style. Start your own fucking thread, and do not sully this thread with her nonsense, R178.

by Anonymousreply 180January 19, 2020 1:39 PM

[quote]If we didn’t despise her so much, would we be crazy about how the first hooker dresses?

MMPH... Speaking only for myself, I can't go there R178. I have tried, and I am trying, but the gal just doesn;t do it for me. I've dismissed the politics. I've dismissed who she is married to. But nuh-uh. And, this surprises me because she is a pretty gal with a nice shape. But, rarely has she worn anything that has caused me to pause. I don't know what it is. Is it her hair or is it that she doesn't accessorize enough? I cannot put my finger on it.

Now, Michelle Obama (who definitely had her miss days) wore MANY outfits that caused me to pause because I liked them and she wore them quite well. Nancy Reagan too...and, I don't recall any "miss days" with her. But, with this girl I feel nothing. I can honestly say that I have seen Karen Pence wear more ensembles that have caused me to pause, (because I liked them and she looked great wearing them) than this gal.

Another one who ranks up there with Miss Nancy is Miss Maxine (Waters), in my opinion. Maybe it is simply all about style?

by Anonymousreply 181January 19, 2020 1:51 PM

Well I think as silly as it may seem, part of the success of Pelosi's style is that it's accessible. And that is where Melania fails, IMO.

I think where Michelle Obama is different (yes, there are many other ways) is that she grew in her fashion style during her time in the White House. She started out fairly hit and miss. She's a tall women and her hips are large, although she's not overweight and is fit. She needs to address those hips in every outfit. She learned to do that very well as did her designers in terms of cut and fabric. She';s always looked fine in slacks and a jacket or sweater, it was the dresses that needed to evolve.

by Anonymousreply 195January 19, 2020 9:59 PM

I hate to diss the first lady in general. R189 is a hooker look, however, and Ivanka in R190 is trampy. One more example of why our image on the world stage is in tatters, no pun intended.

by Anonymousreply 196January 19, 2020 10:06 PM

The Trump women look like a porn movie’s idea of what a First Family should look like.

I think one of the things that makes Melania look bad is her hair is too long and unstyled. She’d be better off with shoulder length hair with some layers. She looks like Trump picks everything she wears, and he’s under the delusion that having his wife dress like a slut makes other men jealous. Whenever I see Melania wearing dresses with her nipples showing through, or spray painted onto to her fat hips and belly, it reminds me that she is sentenced to doing anal with an orange teletubby for the rest of her life.

It’s like Trump is trying to throw their sex life in your face at every possible occasion by forcing his wife to wear outfits that are too young for her or make her look like a street walker. I guess that’s another sign of his insecurity.

When Melania goes to foreign countries, it’s obvious someone else is helping her pick her clothes, or at least offering guidelines, because every outfit is up to her neck, but a lot of them are inappropriately tight. She looks like a highly paid hooker. I can only imagine what the British aristocracy said when they saw her wearing a perfectly acceptable outfit for England, only two sizes too small. Whoever told her that was okay made a fool out of her.

Ivanka is a married woman with a bunch of kids. The fact that she’s constantly displaying her nipples and wearing extremely low cut or see through evening gowns makes me feel like she’s competing with Melania for sexual attention from her dad. Creepy. This outfit was at the U.N. Exactly what you want to wear when you’re totally unqualified to be there in the first place. Was she planning on breast-feeding VIPs in the back room as her diplomatic strategy?

Now, this might come across as silly R195, but I feel that many of the fashions worn by Michelle Obama would look just as fabulous on this gal. I could envision the gal wearing the dress in the link and carrying it off beautifully. Maybe that's her problem. She needs a good stylist as her counsel.

I don't think enough homage is given to Paul Pelosi. He definitely made his mark on his own but to be married to someone who is the third in line for the POTUS office, and who flies worldwide representing the country, to have such an on-point eye of how she should present herself to the world is stunning! Nancy's dress attire is professional yet very fashionable that many women of all ages with various ideologies can relate to.

But, I suppose it all comes down to Nancy Pelosi is comfortable in the clothes that she wears.

The dress worn by Michelle Obama in the link is by Rachel Comey

R201, I'm not sure she has a choice. I think R200 is right, that Trump picks out what he wants her to wear and his rationale for doing so. No one wanted him to run and win but Putin. He liked the idea of running but even he didn't think he'd win. She did not want to have to be first lady. I never paid her much attention when she was in NY before the election, but I think she used to dress better than she does now.

by Anonymousreply 207January 19, 2020 11:35 PM

R205, it depends on the fabric. I've seen Michelle Obama look very bad in a wrap dress because the fabric was thin, patterned in flowers and made her hips look huge. The fabric at R201 is much more appropriate, as is the style of it.

I love Nancy Pelosi's style. She has large boobs and I'm sure it's not easy finding stuff that fits her (hence, the tailoring). She probably just has stuff made for her, since she's so wealthy. Money well-spent. She probably has some amazing, baller jewelry that she doesn't wear for work.

Hair does look better longer. It looks like her real hair, to me. I'm guessing she gets it professionally styled at least 2X per week (also cut and colored). She might have someone stop by her house every morning before she goes to work.

This (photo) kind of looks like a wig, though.

Melania, unlike Speaker Pelosi, doesn't place value, or doesn't know how to choose, undergarments which properly brace, smooth and divert from middle age-stomach spread and nipples.

Effective undergarments make or break how a garment drapes the body.

Speaker Pelosi's undergarments budget probably matches what she spends on her superb wardrobe.

by Anonymousreply 231January 20, 2020 1:34 AM

That’s true, Della. The older you get, the more important foundation garments are. They can take years off a woman’s figure.

A lot of those retro styles, like straight, slim fitted pencil skirts, were originally popular back in the mid-twentieth century, when it was extremely common for women to wear a girdle. No one thought then that every fifty year old had to have a perfect figure, just be reasonably fit and wear a girdle and bra with support. Melania walks around looking like those 38 FFs are either wearing a very light, unlined, see through bralette with no support, or nothing. And I’ve never seen her wear Spanx. She needs some. She could wear the same clothes and look so much better.

by Anonymousreply 233January 20, 2020 3:25 AM

Bras like this are what women with big boobs wear. They are seamless looking, nothing shows even in a clingy outfit. They are lined so nipples don’t show, even if it’s cold.

How Melania can’t understand lined bras exist, I don’t know. You have to go a long way out of your way not to know about that.

I believe her. My ex-stepmother had big implants, and her boobs were perky even in her seventies. It was obvious they were fake, because real boobs drop by that age.

The real reason to wear bras with implants is so it doesn’t look like you’re naked under your clothes. If you’re going to wear a see through or clingy outfit, you wear a skin colored lined bra. It makes the breasts smooth underneath the clothes, and the nipples don’t show.

I can see walking around braless with a big boob job if you’re at home, but on the sort of public appearances Melania makes? Oh hell no.

by Anonymousreply 236January 20, 2020 4:10 AM

R234 Melania and Ivanka have gotten ahead in life in great part because of Trump money that bought them their gigantic fake mammaries. They are proud of them, and proud that they can wear their big ol’beach balls without bras. If Melania is a trophy wife, then her tits are her own trophy. She isn’t going to be demure about them.

by Anonymousreply 237January 20, 2020 9:44 AM

Ahoy, r232.

And there is superb advice here on undergarments. Yes, they can be a bitch to wear. They're expensive.

As R232 and I have pointed out, however, they're the invisible, yet crucial, detail that draws the line between a garment draping you in the most flattering, proper way, or Melania's unbecoming protruding waist line and basketball boobs.

And the paradoxical mistake they're making, r237, and I agree with you, is that, at their age, by insisting on neon nipples, they're drawing negative attention to, well, their age.

Showing nipples, whether clothed or naked is for 18 to 25 years of age (maybe 30, tops, if you're in superb condition) whether you're male, female, trans, what have you.

Ahoy Della!

The other thing about wearing foundation garments is that women have a much higher percentage of fat than men and they jiggle. Just look at straight porn. None of those women are fat at all, and they’re young, but they jiggle all over the place. That’s what foundation garments are supposed to stop. It’s not about being fat, it’s about not looking like a ball of blubber got poured into a suit. In the old days, it was thought that it was improper to walk around without a girdle because you would jiggle in those skirts otherwise.

I have an old 1960s book, “Coffee, Tea or Me?” about stewardesses in the 1960s. That was the beginning of the sexual revolution and those stewardesses were all young, pretty and thin. They were weighed and if they went over their ideal weight, they were grounded. And they were all required to wear girdles by the airlines.

It’s hard to explain to men why, but I understand it. One reason is it makes you look smooth under your clothes. No fat thighs, no poochy belly. Even thin women can have those, just smaller of course. But that’s not the whole reason.

The real reason is women jiggling under their clothes were seen as loose. It implies you’re nearly naked under your clothes, and there for the grabbing. It’s why women are supposed to wear bras to work or school, even though they’re flat chested. Straight men have always felt entitled to sleep with virtually any woman they see, regardless of rank, age, or professional reason for being there. Wearing a girdle was noticeable, and it was a layer of armor between the woman and grabby hands. Those old girdles made it look like the woman had a “mono-buttock,” that is, the garment visibly looked like you couldn’t grab the woman’s bare buttocks. It made men feel like she was somewhat off-limits, at least until the clothes hit the floor. And with stewardesses constantly bending over passengers in the narrow aisle, they needed all the help they could get. That same theory applied across the professions.

Today, women wear Spanx and other more giving materials. A very fit woman might not need them, Kate Duchess of Cambridge for example. But most women who look good in clothes need a little something, that’s why control top pantyhose were invented, to make things just a little smoother.

Melania is a woman who’s probably worked very hard, until recent years, to be very thin and fit. Then she hit menopause and she got flabby. She spends all her time indoors hiding from Orangina, so she probably doesn’t get much exercise. But she’s too old to stay thin unless she starves herself and works out very hard. She’s not obviously. And at her age, things sag. I’m sure anorexic looking Nancy Reagan wore high quality foundation garments. You don’t pass menopause and look good without them.

Nancy understands that, Melania doesn’t. Every time I see Nancy, it’s very obvious to me that she’s wearing an underwire, minimizing bra (her boobs are even bigger than they look), and she’s wearing some kind of control top garment on the bottom. Her clothes are too smooth looking not to be. Melania looks like the Michelin Man, a series of bulges. She’s the anti-Nancy, and her body looks sloppier, although she’s much younger.

Look at this woman’s figure. You think that’s natural at her age? Haha.

Nine tenths of looking good in clothes is what you’re wearing under the clothes. My hat is off to her, she looks good.

Yep, her face and her body have both been surgically altered without any doubt. And she has to be using shaping and supporting undergarments. She is nearly 80 years old, though, and you can’t argue that she isn’t remarkably vital and energetic for her age, regardless of what she looks like. This woman is running around the halls of Capitol Hill in high heels for long hours every day. She is pretty remarkable.

In that picture of Melania at R242, she looks completely naked under her dress. There’s no seams or wrinkles from underwear, and her dress is wet so they’d show. So she’s not wearing a bra or panties. She literally threw a dress over her naked body and left. That’s a full skirt, so a breeze could blow it above her waist easily. She knew that when she left the house.

This is Kate Middleton before she discovered dress weights. This is why you don’t go outside in a full skirt with no panties. Melania’s probably never even heard of dress weights.

R244, she has continued to exercise and has not gained and lost a lot of weight. That is a big factor. Also, woman born in the 50s and earlier were used to wearing support garments like girdles, corsets, slips and bras that lifted and shaped. No, she doesn't go braless or wear a thong and no slip. But anyone who can filibuster for over 8 hours in tall heels has to be in very good shape at her age. or even 20 years younger.

I doubt her body has been surgically altered. Good foundation garments with a toned body will handle that. She has had work done on her face.

My mother and her sister both have Nancy's body. I have sent my sister pictures of some of Nancy's clothes in the past when she had interviews and needed to buy suits. With boobs like that Nancy would gain in her stomach rather than her ass/hips but she clearly exercises and watches her diet. She hasn't gone nuts with fillers which gives her a classy rich lady look. More celebs should take note and not shoot themselves up to look like porn stars, it really makes older women look trashy and low class.

Does Nancy live in DC when working? Does she commute to CA - by private jet? I'm guessing her husband is retired but I'm confused about the logistics of him picking out her clothes while she's in DC but I guess she's not schlepping on and off a Delta plane, trying to bash her hand luggage into the overhead compartment like the rest of us so travelling with the clothes could work.

[quote]Does she commute to CA - by private jet?

As the Speaker I believe she's entitled to the use of a government plane to travel back and forth from her district.

by Anonymousreply 250January 16, 2021 10:16 AM

I believe that she has to use a private plane, R249. She's the 3rd in line to take over the country.

This is just another example of where the Republicans are disposable and disgusting (IMHO) and Democrats are nothing more than sheep for slaughter.

It was Republicans who pushed, got, and allocated, a plane for the Speaker. But, once Miss Nancy became the Speaker the Republicans went on a campaign of demonization, etc which has stuck.

by Anonymousreply 251January 16, 2021 11:45 AM

Yes, r250, but if a skirt or dress is lined properly, a slip may not be needed. Still, proper undergarments always are necessary.

I notice Speaker Pelosi rarely, if ever, wears, a button-up, collared, shirt. She has the dough-ray-mee to have them custom made to accommodate her being buxom.

Off-the rack, mass produced man-shirts for women, however, while they are available in plus sizes, are more trouble to wear than you'd think. Large breasted women who would love to wear them don't like the choices available.

They can stand alone in a casual setting, but usually, for the environment that Speaker Pelosi is in, a jacket is required. It's just easier, and there are more options, with a pullovers under a jacket or the single-garment dresses she wears.

by Anonymousreply 252January 16, 2021 11:55 AM

R252 Yep my sister is tiny like Nancy with big boobs and the buttons of a button down shirt gape no matter which brand she tries (all off the rack high street stores). If she goes up a size it's too large around the waist and makes her look sloppy. She's had the problem since her school days when the busty girls would sew in velcro to stop the gaping. Being a larger woman all over is easier to dress. Kamala is short and curvy too but her build is different and it's easier to dress her.

Only on DL would dozens of gay men join in sexually objectifying the octogenarian Speaker of the House of Representatives.

by Anonymousreply 254January 16, 2021 12:57 PM

It's inexplicable to me why Ivanka and Melania, when they wear button-up shirts, deliberately ( yes, I think it's intentional) want noticeable nipples.

They achieve the exact opposite of what they want- to look younger. Instead, they look sloppy and older.

by Anonymousreply 255January 16, 2021 12:59 PM

Thanks, R252. I was very sincere in asking my question. I found the following from Wikipedia;

[quote]Modern slips: Modern full slip with integrated padded bra that may be also worn as a dress. Most of the slips made today are very plain, and are lacking in detail. Intricate decorations and lace designs are almost completely absent from modern day slips. Slips are not worn nearly as much as a few decades ago. Most transparent skirts and dresses now come with a lining, thus rendering slips redundant. Since the late 20th century, dresses closely based on slips have become very popular.

Womens clothing is made to fit a B-Cup. The median female tit size is a D-cup. The majority of women will not fit into a button up oxford shirt unless they buy one several sizes larger around the shoulders, or unless they go to the menswear department.

Most European leaders who wear a jacket with pants or a skirt will often wear a simple t-shirt underneath. See Angela Merkel. Or they will wear a sleeveless dress with a jacket, which is easier to fit, or a jersey dress.

[quote]Do clothing companies still make slips for women?

Yes. Nylon, silk, and microfibre slips and camisoles are still available. Plus Spanx is effectively a slip + corset bodystocking. Some clothing which is not lined are even in a non-gauzy fabric - such as some viscose or woolen sweater dresses - will show the colour of bras and underwear underneath which is no biggie mooching about the house or popping to the shops for some milk, but some kind of foundation garment would be essential in a non-casual environment.

by Anonymousreply 258January 16, 2021 4:16 PM

Oh please. Sexual objectification my ass. Pelosi is older than my grandparents. I just like looking at nice things whether it's furniture or jewelry or architecture or clothing. I can't afford shit but I it's nice to look at beautiful things rather than my Ikea junk! A lot of DLers have an extensive knowledge of these things so it's fun to hear people's opinions of beautiful homes, clothes etc.. It's a pretty harmless way to waste a few minutes and there's no need to jump to sexualization. Considering that most of the internet wants to dance on Pelosi's grave, this thread deserves to go on without the trolling.
