I do not think that this relationship is a good campaign, rather it is just the opposite. I'm reading some fan comments that say things like "Tim just puts his eyes on the daughters of celebrities, and that if you're not one of them you have no chance." To me frankly, is that this guy is handsome as there are others who are also, with the difference that he walks on a red carpet. When that point is reached, everyone mistakenly believes that this will last forever, until there comes a time when the fury for that person disappears because another one has appeared in its place.

He was supposed to have gained weight for the King movie, but I guess that whatever weight he gained, he quickly lost it as soon as that film wrapped up. He has always been skinny and very small-boned and I am amazed that even with the onset of puberty and adulthood, he has so far not gained more body mass, like a lot of guys do. Genetics may play a part (his Dad looks tall and slim), though I noticed that his sister tends to be on the chubby side. He probably also doesn't eat much to begin with, but with his history of anxiety, I can imagine he eats more sporadically due to stress and too much work.

I'm the one that posted about the HFA , but seeing the BB reviews I have to admit the chances of him getting nominated are getting lower. I am thinking 50/50 right now and there is still a long way to go. He could still make it, but that would be a big Oscar anomaly. At least he is getting some awards and praise. And he is a professional, he will campaign as it is expected of him.

I want him to get nommed if he deserves it (I haven’t seen the movie yet and will probably wait until it’s streaming bc my theater dollars are better spent elsewhere ). I'm watching it again when it comes to theaters, cause I did like the approach they took with drugs, even if the cinematic technique is not attractive at all. And regarding failure, that is something he has talked about extensively, how failure helps his craft, how it grounds him. He is enjoying this moment cause he knows what is like to be on the other side of a fandom, but he also knows he needs to grow much more and for that he has to get away, after the Oscars he will disappear again and that's the best he can do.

People (including the press) seem to be really overplaying the significance of her part in this movie.

Now I feel a little embarrassed because for a long time while he was filming "The King" I came to think that he was his assistant on the set the lucky one. She was in Cannes, even, there are no photos or videos of Marta Pozzan, but of her assistant who accompanied him everywhere. I do not know in the specific case of Tim, but in the shootings that I have been these people become his shadow, never better said. And there is so much information and time spent with them, even in the same hotel that a flirtation may have escaped. Certainly I have not seen any of that, I'm just speculating, and it's a guess.

My problem with the movie is the shallow development of most of the characters and the flashbacks that knock the dynamic of the story to the ground. Maura is relegated to the role of sad and disappointed supportive wife. She is given one expression throughout the film. Amy Ryan shares the expression as well. They are both great at nodding with understanding. There was no depth to the character of the father David other than to repeatedly react to the screw ups of Nic which is an endless cycle of take drugs, try rehab and fail. Again the underdevelopment of how Nic got here and the effects on family suffered with useless flashbacks and a story that kept retreading and repeating that didn't offer anything new.

I'm looking forward to seeing this movie. Tim is a great actor, getting into the role of Elio in CMBYN proves it, because if you have read you will have realized that just as the character is written, he only talks about what Elio feels at all times. Emotions can not be interpreted, they are things that are felt. With regard to BB, we already know what there is, history says all the time, talks about the relapse and recovery of a boy because of drugs, another difficult and very crude role, I imagine it will be.

I think part of the problem with these conversations is that the Big Hollywood Machine tends to dominate the popular consciousness and trick people - both the general public and in the industry itself - into thinking that there’s only one version of a big career and only one path to having it. I don’t see it either. But I’m convinced that for IG accounts with huge follower numbers, things can get lost when you search.
