I like the cast photo too. I actually know some of the BTS tea and can assure you the season is MUCH better than that trailer. The trailer was rushed because they were trying to make Tanya the 7th housewife up until the 11th hour but couldnt and the deadline to release the marketing info came, which they already had extended. Anyway, this season will be good. Theres a new showrunner who actuallt knows how to tell authentic stories.

Not enough interesting material. She really struggled to find a footing in the beginning R33 and they couldnt figure out a way to make her likeable in the beginning as well. She was really nervous the first couple of months and tried too hard to be edgy.

Expect Porsha mostly everyone except Cynthia and Nene. Shamari vs Nene. Eva vs Marlo and non cast members. Tanya vs Marlo and Kandi. Having said that, the theme is decidedly more authentic drama based on the womens lives: Greg's health issues, Kandi wanting more children ( at this point Kenya and Felicia- who was also pregnant were potentials for the new season), Cynthia's menopause (which is probably getting dropped) and Porsha's life updates that you all know. Production is very happy with Eva cause she gives the show a new audience and with Tanya and Shamari cause they work well with production. Marlo, ironically, is very easy to work with and is favored by production but their hsmds are tied. Also, Nene and the new showrunner are very close now.

She grew up in a really nice house in a really nice neighborhood. And she's always been involved in the performing arts. She even went to a performing arts school when her career took off.

Kandi definitely wasn't disadvantaged growing up in Atlanta. Not by a long shot. Atlanta is a great place to live, especially for African Americans. And Kandi proves that. Along with many other AA's who live in Atlanta who happens to be on reality tv. You can see the prosperity in their day to day lives.

Wendy didn't hold back, and Eva held her own. I do not believe Eva in thinking she is going to bring it, though.

I have never understood the love for this version of the franchise. Both Kenya and Phaedra were the most entertaining by far (if not generally HORRIBLE people) and Claudia was the most likable. This season looks on par or worse than the worst season of RH of all time (Beverly Hills last season) Horrible. I was shocked at how boring the first episode was. (And I too am rooting for Gregg- but my god that is so hard to watch- Stage 3 is really pushing it and I hope he makes it)

Nene- Always good TV Porsha- My god how did she not get fired? What garbage. Fucking Kandi- One of the most uncharismatic stars ever. Her amazing success baffles me. Same views as Kandi, minus the amazing success part. Lovely lady. Bad tv. And this chick from Americas Top Model- She was a bore last season, and now we get 2 times as much of her?

Nene and Kandi are the stars of RHOA. Their both also the highest paid on the show too.

Nene banking $2.7 million for the season. And Kandi banking $2.2 million for the season. These numbers we're leaked, I believe them. They've both been on the show long enough to pull in those types of salaries.

Nene, Kandi, and Cynthia are the heart of the show. They can drop Porsha, Evan, and whomever else they have on the payroll.

Kenya was the quintessential character that had different layers. She gave you a bit of everything, and she wasn't just a bitch, although she could be. She had heart, fear, and was relevant to the viewers.

When she cries in her car it’s because she’s sad about what Gregg’s cancer is doing to her and not what the cancer is doing to Gregg. She’s an awful person.

Tanya was brought in late into filming but after the cast trip it was decided to make her a regular. She even took promo photos with the rest of the cast. However at the 11th hour they decided to make her a friend for two reasons- 1: they filmed with her late so not enough footage (oddly they didnt have this problem with Sonja in NY but its a different production company). 2- the producers thought bringing in 3 full time housewives at once would be too jarring for viewers. Expect her to be back full time next hear and Shamia more than likely gone. Production isnt happy with this season so expect some changes next season.

They should let Kenya be a producers, because she brought it at her baby showers. I always wanted to see a mix of HW and Married to Medicine, and she did that!

Phaedra and Kenya are two personalities that you cannot NOT enjoy watching, even though they are similarly unlikable more often than not. It's called charisma. I am very surprised how strong-minded these producers were about not budging on Kenya. I gather that Kenya's behavior behind the scenes must have been horrible to deal with, on par with what I heard about Aviva Drescher on RHONY. When the producers hate you enough despite you being popular, you must be pretty terrible to deal with!

Nene shouldnt have been on the show this season. Period. I understand her position and feel that Greg is truly a monster bts, but she's on a reality show where her placement is based on the public's perception. ATL has stronger characters than most of the other franchises.

well the reunion part I was highest rated of the season so far with 2.35. It came in #1 for the key demo that night,

still down in total number of viewers from years past but all the housewives' shows are at this point. I think RHOA is still the only one to cross over 2 million this year and this is not a good season overall (though last few episodes have been good)
