I don't remember anyone predicting anything about these two.

When they move to LA, several people, myself included, thought they weren't going to be able to stay monogamous to each other. I remember a thread in which some thought Mark was going to get caught up in the circuit scene.

Their most dedicated followers are really upset right now. This is why I don't understand why some people worship Youtube channels and Youtube personalities/couples. Put their faith in online personas they don't even know.

Surely they know these people are putting up a front to a degree. That it's a show for followers, or fame, or money, etc. Not to say their relationship was fake, but obviously there were a lot of things they didn't show and now their followers are shocked when they discover "Oh yeah, there was drama we never recorded".

I've watched Mark and Ethan's videos off and on for years. I admire people who can maintain a positive outlook on life, but sometimes they were too much. No, every day is not a great day. I didn't watch their videos regularly, only a few over the years. But the impression I always got was that is was Mark who was really passionate about the Youtube channel. They both had their own channels, but Ethan eventually stopped his. I still always saw Mark as that guy using his online presence to get validation and love from people telling him exactly what he wanted to hear.
