You have file to file a W-9 if make over certain amount through the MLM for income taxes. So far there haven't been reports of them being behind on their taxes. Shannann loved presenting herself as a high MLM earner so I wouldn't be surprised if it becomes revealed that she lied on W-9s or other tax documents.

Those children did look sickly and plain, and we'll never know why they looked so unhealthy. Maybe they had genuine health issues, maybe they were too terrified of their father to thrive, maybe someone had put the goddamn patches on them.

There were mentions of asthma, celiac disease, and allergies. We all have come across sociopaths and psychopaths. A fair number of us are in relationships with them. It's easier to believe someone can just "snap" and commit horrific crime than it is to imagine that you can live with someone for years, decades even, build a life and family with a person who is incapable of empathy, devoid of a moral compass, and never see it. It's too terrifying. DL bitchery aside, I would venture to guess that those whose first instinct is to find a reason for this crime in the behavior of Shanann are people who haven't picked up on the sociopaths in their own lives.

In reading these threads, I've been assuming all along that typical DL "humor" has come into play about blaming the murders on Shanann's behavior or the issues with the daughters. At least most of it. I think for the majority of us, that's because it's too difficult to think that someone could just up and kill their family and then try to pretend they're just "missing." But if you look at other more recent instances of people murdering their families, they were typically sociopaths who resented anything that stood in the way of achieving their true goals for themselves, or were batshit crazy like Andrea Yates.

There are legitimate work from home jobs out there like customer service, copy writing, tech writing, accounting, and corporations give some employees the option of working from home on full time or part time basis. Those types of work from home jobs have set hours, deadlines, and you have constantly check in with managers or other bosses. Some companies require that employees who work from home have to show proof of childcare if they have very young children.

A friend of mine had started working from home a couple of years before she had her daughter. When she got pregnant she started looking into childcare options. Her mother and aunt babysat on a rotating basis for the little girl. I bet some of the MLM huns would have judged my friend for working in her home office while someone else was taking care of the daughter.
