Costa Rika is a beach place. Different types of entertainment. There isn't any place in Europe that will offer you the same kind of entertainment past September, and even then it's not the same, there is no wilderness, no mangrove swamps, no jungle. Everything is tiny and civilized.

I read Lagertha’s post that Lee’s lastest Instagram picture looks doctored so I have decided to look closely at it and I am not 100 percent certain of it but it definitely looks like it could have some type of filter on it. It looks like the shading is modified especially the abs area, yet the background is fully focused with no shading problems. Another thing that’s strange about it to me is that it was one and a half weeks ago that Reid posted his insta story and Lee had no abs then. You could see Matt’s but none on Lee. However, I'd like him to be more concerned with his own health (somehow, I believe he's not paying attention to it): his weight loss was too drastic and it remembers me of two events that occurred with my father and with a close friend. My father has always been athletic (he enjoys running and playing basketball), but all of a sudden he began to lose weight without any reason; he searched the opinion of a doctor, made tons of medical tests and the diagnosis was hyperthyroidism. He's now taking medicines for this illness and resumed his work-out routine.

Another case that moved me deeply was when a good friend of mine came back home from college and half of her had vanished! Fortunately, her mother gave a heads up before we met, otherwise I would have fainted (actually, my soul fainted a bit). It turns out she had a severe depression, which was stress-triggered (it was her last year in college). The whole family, friends, relatives, the dogs; everybody rallied around her to seek for help. She searched a doctor and a therapist, took vitamins, improved her diet and took prescribed drugs. Bottom line: she recovered from depression but her body suffers with the aftereffects of the sudden weight loss (her stomach diminished!). My friend was 22 when this happened; Lee is almost 40 and his body may not recover as well as when he did "Soldier's Girl"! I sincerely hope he's under medical surveillance while changing his body!

I have just seen Kellys story and I think she is in Barcelona on a business trip (FC Barcelona TB contract). Maybe Matty is also there combining vacation with work. If he is there for work right now he will probably show something. Of course it will cause a lot of stupid speculations if he was on vacation at all or maybe he has been in Europe for a week working hard in Spain and Lee has been on vacation in France without him.

They always go to the same well-known places: Italy, France, Spain, Japan, etc. (nothing wrong with these places, mind you; these places always can teach you something new). But Lee seems to like more off-the-beaten-track destinations like, for instance, Lake Baikal (Siberia), Plitvice Lakes (Croatia), The Black Forest (Germany), Romania (the land of mystery), etc. These people don't like to camp; they like fancy hotels or, to say the least, "glamp"! I also think that Nick R would be a much better match to Lee than Matty boy. Nick seems to be a very nice down to earth man. With him Lee would be more himself and he wouldn’t have to pretend to be someone else. Definitely Lee and Matty have lots of fun together, Matty introduces Lee to lots of new people. Maybe one day among one of them will be someone that Lee will find worth exploring. Nick Rosser is just a variation of the same. He's a social media attention hog, and hangs with a circle of vapid people for whom appearances are all. Yes, he has some similar hobbies to Lee, and seems to be more connected than Matt to his roots (both hair and family/home), but he's still part of a "cool kids" crowd.

Lee seemed like a guy who was interested in the substance of people, social equality, environmentalism, etc. That doesn't comport with hanging around people who need to show how cool they are through materialism, lack of maturity, and obsession with outward appearances.

I personally like Carter Smith and it's a shame that didn't work out. Carter is an artist, but keeps fairly low-key. Plus, his IG account is filled with pictures of his gorgeous, naturally beautiful home town in Maine, and he regularly posts stories featuring his family, particularly a young girl (niece maybe?) of whom he is clearly very fond. He even posted an IG story a few months ago where he was (very badly) rollerskating at this girl's birthday party and clearly having a blast. He seems to have a great sense of humor, including the ability to make fun of himself. Definitely more in line with what I thought Lee was about--"thought" being the operative word.

Lee continues to downgrade. From Carter to Richard to Matt. The only thing we can be grateful to Matt for is that Lee is finally showing who he really is. He isn’t as we thought, a sweet guy who as R440 wrote is interested in the substance of people, social equality and cares for the environment. It was all for show, some image projected to make people like him more. Many people who follow him still believe in all that shit. His relationship with Matt has served to reveal his personality and also the type of people he likes: shallow with no class, braggadocios, wannabe wealthy. Before, we saw the character Lee created to be his public image which he sculpted for his fans. Now who do we see? An aging Generation Xer aspiring to be a Millennial kid in extremely expensive clothes in which he looks ridiculous (a few years ago declaring he can wear the same shirt and sweatpants for a week), who likes costly manicure posts of one of his new “friends” whose face expresses nothing more than a desperate longing for common sense (Gia). Thanks to Matt we see how easily he is manipulated and influenced by the people around him and that he lacks his own firm beliefs, choosing to indulge in whatever is set before him and adopting it, disregarding his previously declared standard of conduct and beliefs. When presented with such a manipulative person as Matt we see the change in him is bold and loud. He will utterly revise himself just to fit in with a group that would expect another human being to change who they are for the pleasure of their company. Not many will say it on sm, but he has disappointed a lot of people.
