what do i do with them ?
They’re greasy.
by Anonymous | reply 1 | June 15, 2018 10:29 PM |
You rub them on your cooter, Rose.
by Anonymous | reply 2 | June 15, 2018 10:30 PM |
Make then into a breakfast casserole with eggs, cheese and bacon on top. Then add sausage, pancakes and more cheese. Garnish with a sprig of parsley.
by Anonymous | reply 3 | June 15, 2018 10:32 PM |
Crass, but... LOL ^^^
by Anonymous | reply 4 | June 15, 2018 10:32 PM |
Give them to the dog, if you have one. That's pretty much all they're good for.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | June 15, 2018 10:33 PM |
Chorizo con papas tacos!
by Anonymous | reply 6 | June 15, 2018 10:39 PM |
Cook em and eat em you cunt. Better yet, just shove em up your arse.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | June 15, 2018 10:45 PM |
They are greasy as R1 says. I've had to throw them in the toaster oven to get them properly crispy, ,then use them stand alone or in a egg scramble.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | June 15, 2018 10:46 PM |
Sit on them for four hours and they will hatch baby potatoes.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | June 15, 2018 10:46 PM |
Crisp them up in the toaster oven, paper towel the grease off, then scramble them with eggs. Add shredded cheese and hot sauce or salsa. Yum!
by Anonymous | reply 10 | June 15, 2018 10:55 PM |
Where does it say they're organic?
by Anonymous | reply 11 | June 15, 2018 11:03 PM |
"a egg scramble"
Oh dear.....
by Anonymous | reply 12 | June 15, 2018 11:10 PM |
I bought a bag of real, shredded, flash frozen hash brown style potatoes @ Aldi's, two pound bag for $1.69.
You cook 'em fresh in minutes. None of those crappy, greasy slabs for me !
by Anonymous | reply 13 | June 15, 2018 11:17 PM |
Doesn't the package include instructions on how to cook them OP? If not, I would try baking them on a cookie sheet if you think they are too greasy, but I would still lightly use a cooking spray for the cookie sheet to ensure they don't stick. Bake them at maybe 350 or 375, but if they are starting to look too brown take them out immediately as they will still cook a little bit out of the oven I would think. Put them on a paper towel to drain off any more excess grease/oil. That would be my suggestion, but I still find it rather incredible that there are no instructions for cooking.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | June 15, 2018 11:18 PM |
LMFAO @ R3 !
Garnishing with parsley won't make that greasarolle healthy. Or appetizing.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | June 15, 2018 11:20 PM |
r14 again--forgot to suggest timing in the oven; I would bake them about 15 minutes maximum. If you think it needs more, maybe do it in increments of 2 or 3 minutes before checking them again.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | June 15, 2018 11:36 PM |
Those pre-formed potato-like patties are exactly what Micky D's passes off as hash browns.
Have you ever eaten real, home style hash browns, OP?
by Anonymous | reply 17 | June 15, 2018 11:39 PM |
Fannie Craddock would have a creative idea.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | June 15, 2018 11:46 PM |
Baking them or using toaster oven is best. Using paper towels for the grease is a good idea too. When they're all gone, never buy again. Try making from whole potatoes using a box shredder. Fry in cast iron pan. Do a search on YouTube and you'll learn a lot. Pretty much anyone can learn to cook and should. If you're a troll?!?! Then shove them up your ass Boris....
by Anonymous | reply 19 | June 16, 2018 12:11 AM |
r11 they are from Trader Joes. They are organic.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | June 16, 2018 12:21 AM |
Throw them out, buy some real potatoes and grate them. Soak in salt water for 15/20 minutes. Rinse with cold water, wring out excess water and let drain in a colandar, add desired seasoning, and fry in properly heated oil that barely covers the bottom of the pan. Leave to brown on one side, flip over, and let brown some more. Serve with eggs, steak, etc.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | June 16, 2018 12:21 AM |
Go to Waffle House. Preferably after midnight.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | June 16, 2018 12:23 AM |
Microwave them for longer than you should and they'll be crisp. Add some scrambled eggs and pepper and salt and some bacon or sausage. All this other shit about toaster ovens and baking etc. is for people who actually cook and are picky about their food.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | June 16, 2018 12:26 AM |
They're not organic.
You don't really believe because they're from Trader Joe's that they're organic, do you?
by Anonymous | reply 24 | June 16, 2018 12:36 AM |
r24 most of the stuff from traderjoes is organic
by Anonymous | reply 25 | June 16, 2018 12:44 AM |
Restaurants in NYC used to serve pastrami sandwiches between two potato pancakes. Hashbrowns are very much like potato pancakes. Get some pastrami or whatever you like and use two of them instead of bread. I think even grilled cheese would work if you don't eat meat. And no law says they have to be eaten at breakfast. You could have them for lunch or dinner. I'd say they're a bit much for a snack though.
As others have pointed out, they are not organic. The only thing like that I've ever seen organic is WF's 365 frozen organic tater tots. Cannot say if they are good or not, never tried them.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | June 16, 2018 12:46 AM |
How do you know they're not organic?
by Anonymous | reply 27 | June 16, 2018 1:00 AM |
I've had them before, there not organic (not that it matters), I just find it laughable that someone believes that because it came from TJs, it's organic.
It's true, they have a lot of organic offerings, but I don't even think 'most' of their stuff is organic.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | June 16, 2018 1:03 AM |
Aldis has frozen Monte Cristo type sandwichs in Switzerland that don't look anything like this fresh one in the photo. They are greasy and very good crap snacks for hangovers.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | June 16, 2018 1:03 AM |
NOTHING is organic unless it's labeled that way. Trader Joe's does NOT have "mostly" organic items. Even Whole Foods doesn't have only organic food.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | June 16, 2018 1:19 AM |
r29 My favorite sandwich. They don't have them at the US Aldis. But I'm partial to the kind that's battered and deep-fried, not the French toast version as shown in your photo.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | June 16, 2018 1:21 AM |
God that looks good r29.
by Anonymous | reply 32 | June 16, 2018 1:21 AM |
R30 is correct. The ignorance here is astounding. Believing something "is" because it's from a certain place is blind acceptance. This is the same reason "trans" is accepted as part of the gay and lesbian cause... Constantly hearing GLBQT doesn't make it so. It's Gay Pride, NOT "Pride". Trying to erase us will not work, time to fight back against this lunacy and start using critical thinking skills.
by Anonymous | reply 33 | June 16, 2018 1:24 AM |
We should all stay away from trannies while they are eating hashbrowns.
by Anonymous | reply 34 | June 16, 2018 1:32 AM |
R33 simply proves the craziness of these anti-trans loons. They'll find a way to turn a thread about Trader Joe's hashbrowns about their crazy fixation.
by Anonymous | reply 35 | June 16, 2018 1:34 AM |
R33 shut up troll. none of that is even remotely related to shitty hashbrowns.
by Anonymous | reply 36 | June 16, 2018 1:35 AM |
Even Aldi's has organic food. They also sell the Box 'o' Hashbrowns in the freezer section. I can guarantee you those are NOT organic.
Try reading the ingredients list. Its located on the box, 😸 right next to the cooking instructions !
by Anonymous | reply 37 | June 16, 2018 2:11 AM |
What's with all the Aldi's fans on DL? Did someone finally get a job?
by Anonymous | reply 38 | June 16, 2018 2:23 AM |
They aren't organic. OP it's like your asking what to do with a pop tart. Put them in your toaster. While they are toasting cook your scrambled eggs in the microwave. Not sure why you would want to put anymore effort into these.
by Anonymous | reply 39 | June 16, 2018 2:50 AM |
Is lard organic, OP, cause I'm sure they use some to get them extra crispy, just like KFC.
My diet choices are flexible. Organic vs NonOrganic isn't really much of a concern to me.
by Anonymous | reply 40 | June 16, 2018 2:55 AM |
I insist all my processed frozen potato food stuffs be organic
by Anonymous | reply 41 | June 16, 2018 3:03 AM |
Don't piss on my breakfast bonfire R15.
by Anonymous | reply 42 | June 16, 2018 3:06 AM |
I dislike critical thinking, and am fine with people mutilating their bodies (i.e. Chopping off cocks and breasts) and calling themselves "trans" because that is what they "feel".. Biology and science doesn't concern me whatsoever. I do as I'm told and think what I'm told to think because group think and tribalism is the way to go. Go team go, identity politics will save us all..
by Anonymous | reply 43 | June 16, 2018 3:12 AM |
So, organic hash browns are made of chopped off tits and dicks then R43? That makes a weird kind of sense. So I don't need to add sausage to my breakfast casserole is what I'm thinking. Nice.
by Anonymous | reply 44 | June 16, 2018 3:28 AM |
Seriously OP, are u retarded? Read the damn instructions on the box.
by Anonymous | reply 45 | June 16, 2018 3:32 AM |
r45 How rude !! I am just asking for various recipes.
by Anonymous | reply 46 | June 16, 2018 3:38 AM |
Use these all the time; my kid loves them. Microwave two of them for 2 minutes, while you're heating up a frying pan. Move them carefully from the microwave oven to the pan, in which you let them get crispy, then flip for the other side to get crispy. You can also do this with their frozen burritos.
Pros: they're cheap and precooked
Cons: they're super salty
by Anonymous | reply 47 | June 16, 2018 3:50 AM |
So tell me Miss, @ r43, what does that have to do with the cooking time and temperature for shredded potato patties? And would you like a big organic sausage with that?
by Anonymous | reply 48 | June 16, 2018 4:01 AM |
She'll take it with a side of tater tits R48.
by Anonymous | reply 49 | June 16, 2018 4:15 AM |
These are THE BEST. safeway, 'luckys', target and other stores carry them. they are fresh, not frozen and they keep well in the fridge.
melt butter in a pan, add just a bit of oil, wait til it's hot enough when you throw a tate in there it sizzles. add as much as you want and smash em down in the pan. leave alone til they scoot around in the pan, are brown, then
flip over and cook the same. i can't do the flip but doesn't matter. they fry up well and they are unseasoned. i just add salt. make or add anything else you like, eggs, bacon, ham, whatever.
trust me. you will not regret buying these and they sure as hell are as good and way easier than grating, soaking and trying to get all the water out of 'home made' tates.
by Anonymous | reply 50 | June 16, 2018 4:40 AM |
Organic tranny potatoes need to be soaked in very SALTY water.. Leeches the poison out.. If I can't get breast implants(MTF), then I stuff my front with regular old spuds.. The frozen ones do make my nips swole....
by Anonymous | reply 51 | June 16, 2018 4:50 AM |
Still laughing about 'tater tits'.
by Anonymous | reply 52 | June 16, 2018 5:00 AM |
R44 for the win, albeit a bit off-topic.
by Anonymous | reply 53 | June 16, 2018 5:19 AM |
Aldi's r50
Only $1.69 / 2 lb. bag
I beginning to think no one is paying attention.
Probably because no one is.
by Anonymous | reply 54 | June 16, 2018 6:20 AM |
r35, LOL, very true even though I still want to drop the T.
by Anonymous | reply 55 | June 16, 2018 6:30 AM |
Raders Joe....
by Anonymous | reply 56 | June 16, 2018 6:39 AM |
OP, you have to ask what to do with orgasmic hashbrowns?
by Anonymous | reply 57 | June 16, 2018 6:50 AM |
They are truly nasty.
by Anonymous | reply 58 | June 16, 2018 7:08 AM |
Don't forget the EVOO
by Anonymous | reply 59 | June 16, 2018 1:43 PM |
R40 - they is organic everything, including lard. We have it in Switzerland - pigs raised without drugs and chemicals and on organic feed. There is organic palm seed oil. Palm plantations are TERRIBLE for the local environment and human rights. An organic palm plantation can still be terrible for the environment. Maybe even with shitty workers. Lots of developing countries are doing organic farming and not necessarily improving labour conditions.
by Anonymous | reply 60 | June 16, 2018 1:53 PM |
These things are like organic Kraft Mac & Cheese in a box. Processed food so - what's the point.
by Anonymous | reply 61 | June 16, 2018 1:54 PM |
The only way you are going to get these things to taste good is to deep fat fry them. Baking them just dries them out.
by Anonymous | reply 62 | June 16, 2018 2:50 PM |
Kill yourself OP or save them for the funeral of someone else.

Sweet Ann,
Please don’t over exert yourself. And how is your multiple sclerosis fairing. I’m sure they will possibly come close to finding a cure maybe 25 or 30 yrs from now.
by Anonymous | reply 66 | June 16, 2018 3:30 PM |
Does Ann like hash browns, R66?
by Anonymous | reply 67 | June 16, 2018 3:31 PM |
Do you also do frozen French fries OP?
by Anonymous | reply 68 | June 17, 2018 1:34 PM |
R60 I know a lot of pigs who do drugs when they think no one's watching.

R3 types like they have to cut a hole in the wall in order for the crane to attach to his bed.
by Anonymous | reply 70 | June 17, 2018 1:44 PM |
ANY frozen tates suck. homemade is a PITA. Simply Potatoes Rule. Try them.
by Anonymous | reply 71 | June 17, 2018 10:37 PM |
Is that a PITA pocket? Now that sounds like a GREAT breakfast idea. Just cram your tits and dicks in a pita pocket. Man with hole in pocket feel cocky all day!
by Anonymous | reply 72 | June 17, 2018 10:44 PM |
How about an English cucumber with that?
by Anonymous | reply 73 | June 17, 2018 11:31 PM |
You can use them as coasters for your drinks.
by Anonymous | reply 74 | June 18, 2018 12:55 AM |
"organic" is over rated and over sold......read up on it. or just kick back and have a nice drink and give no fucks!
by Anonymous | reply 75 | June 18, 2018 3:41 AM |
Eat them, you idiot!!
