A lot of these articles get lorded over by stuffy old doilies that could use a good shaking up. I've known a few trolls and they are very isolated people. Not all if them are serial killers but they are Unstable. They are usually very bright. One was a girl with serious heart problem and another was a bit off mentally. Childish. Best one was Robert Maas. Genius IQ but emotions of child. Stalked women. Definitely serial killer types.

Patsy Ramsey and Concerned Team Mom are usually funny, and their posters rarely overdo it the way that some other DL trolls do.

The greatest DL character — I don’t think the term troll really applies — will always be the “Let me tell you about Debra Messing” poster.

You realize there's a difference between trolls - and DL characters, or personas. Darfur Orphan is not a troll. Many many posters will chime in as the DO when the comic opportunity presents itself.

Same with Patsy Ramsey.

Now an actual TROLL that I enjoy is the DEAD TO ME troll. That is, the original one (there are poor imitators). He usually posts HOURS after a celebrity dies, claiming that you "Heard it here first." And like fish bait, R.1 ALWAYS bites and attempts to ostracize the DTM Troll for, in fact, NOT being the first (by this point DTM is usually the 3rd or 4th thread).

He has a specific cadence that the imitators just don't seem to get. I find him hilarious, especially when others get so upset over it.
