I couldn't remember where I read it, so I googled and found the source of the interviews. The most recent are here on page 3 and you can work your way back through 4 and 5 to see the full cast.

It's less than clear from that interview that Michael is a Trump supporter.

He's no Libby, but I think the way he answered implies his views are more in line with those of a Trump supporter than a Hillary supporter.

Despite all of the photos on Instagram of many players hanging out after their season, I haven't noticed Des or Laurel in any of them. Were they not well liked by the cast?

When players are sent to Ghost Island, they each have been breaking the little thing that tells them whether they can play the game of chance in order from left to right. As far as I know, no one has ever read instructions that say they must break them left to right, and yet they are. If they are required to do so in this order, then producers have an opportunity to control the game. I suppose they can also manipulate the game by planting whatever they want in the 3 tubes that players can choose from when they are able to play.

Where does Brendon live?

Desiree lives in New York, so she's been seen in social media pics with other New Yorkers from this season along with older castaways.

I doubt she's the type to be hopping on a plane every few weeks to visit other Survivors.

If you're not aware, the people who get voted out before merge have to stay in ponderosa until the last pre-jury gets eliminated. That way, all of these people fly at thesame time to avoid elimination spoilers

Of all the many irritating currents on these Survivor threads the top one is that goes on and on about "Miss Probst." Jeff is not gay. He has never been gay. He is married and has children and has not ever indicated being unhappy in his private life. Why these remarks continue is a mystery and super annoying.

Seeing that clip from Survivor: Millennials vs. Gen X made me remember how good that season was. It was the last good season we had in my opinion. Game Changers was one of the worst seasons, Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers was just ok, and this season is just ok as well. I don't see it improving and having a predictable winner just like Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers.

Last season was horrible, with that staged ex-marine winner, I can't even be bothered to remember his name. I think it turned a lot of people off.

I'm a muscular dude who works out and plays sports. My boyfriend always says I smell like a baby, even when I've skipped a shower. Not like a piss and poop baby, but powdery and sweet. It was only a matter of time. This past season with Cody and Jessica got good ratings. Don’t be surprised to see Cody and/or Jessica on Survivor any season now.

I'm sure every person on Survivor tapes their own "sob story" for production, whether it be a sick parent, high student loans, wanting to change careers, veteran, stuck in a dead-end town, etc. We hear only some of them, which often gives us the winner's edit. Think about it -- by the time the season airs, they're narrowed down to 2 or 3 finalists, and so production needs to build those stories.

I did notice Dom's eyes this last episode....quite fetching, a lovely brown and super white.

R435 I wouldn't say Wendell does nothing. He seems to have a very good social game, having twice avoided being blindsided despite players knowing he's a treat. All Dom really has on him is screen time (thanks to that feud with Chris early on) and these two back to back immunity challenge wins. It's clearly between the two of them for who wins, but I don't think Dom is a runaway winner...yet.

I'm ok with either Dom or Wendell winning. I know many of you don't like the "doing it for the wife and kids" edit that Dom is getting, but I think those two are playing quite well. They're hustling for the advantages/idols (unless you believe producers give those away). They make an effort in challenges. They're both pretty strategic. They're respectful of the other players and have good relationships with the players they're putting on the jury (Wendell's harsh final words for Chris is the only exception).

The only thing keeping me interested right now is waiting to see if they have the balls to take the other one to the end, or if they'll turn on each other.

Outside of them, the others are playing so poorly that I can't imagine they would win, and frankly I'd be a little annoyed if they did. For some reason I still like Angela, but I think she's playing a horrible game, so I'd have mixed feelings if she won.

Wendell betrays no lack of confidence, his authority is real. Dom is another matter. Laurel is counting third prize money and not helping someone else win. Survivor continuously reveals that people are very ordinary. They enjoy games but they worship prescribed heroes.

Remember when there was four chicks and that one blonde haired surfer dude? And they talked him into giving up his immunity idol to one of the girls and then smirked at him even before they voted his ass off? OK, that was stupidity not gameplay, but it was some fine manipulation by some great amazons.

Sorry to have to agree with Miss P, r444, but he's right. I met someone who works on the show at a party and said it would be interesting to do a season like the first with no idols and such. They said that would be impossible because viewers expect the twists now even if they (claim they) don't like them. They've done audience research and determined more people prefer the idols, tribe shake-ups and other added drama than the more sedate versions of the early seasons. I get it even if I don't like it.

I don't mind the idols and advantages - they've provided some very memorable moments on the show. But in more recent seasons they've gone way overboard with them. The worst case was Cirie getting eliminated on Game Changers at the final six for the sole reason that she was the only person without immunity or an advantage. She didn't even have a vote cast against her at that tribal council either.

When the idols were first introduced, there was only ONE. And the castaways had to actually work to find it, or work to get clues to a location. Now they thrown in the path of any of the producer favorites like candy.

I love the tribe shakeups. But I really love when they split the tribes by type: men vs women, heroes vs villains, etc. Drama! Reversals of fortune!

And I liked when they’d hide idols at challenges so that the player would have to be mega sneaky to snatch it.

I love Survivor, I have seen every episode of every season but I hate when it get to this point where I am not rooting for anyone to win, just hoping certain people don't win.

Donathan has proven himself to be a total moron.

Donathan was lucky they wanted Kellyn out pretty badly or he could've gotten himself voted out. I'm sure part of him losing was frustration with Laurel refusing to go against Domenick and Wendell. He knows he's only going to get 4th place at best and Laurel seems to be fine with getting 3rd place, possibly not even getting one vote to win.

No doubt Donathan, Sebastian and Angela will mess up their last chance with breaking them up. I'm assuming Sebastian can still use the extra vote at the next tribal council. Those 3 certainly are not the sharpest knives in the drawer.

This was a really good episode.

It was smart to vote out Kellyn. The closer she gets to the end, the closer she is guaranteed a win. She was the jury favorite.

Now they have to go with the lesser of six evils, although Sebastian, Angela and Don could gain favor with the jury, now that Kellyn is out.

If Dom and Wendell are smart, they'll vote Sea Bass out next, followed by Don. That would make it much harder for the jury to decide on a winner.

Jeff NEVER said at the beginning of the challenge that you have to call out his name, in order to win immunity. It may be implied that you have to call his name, but in reality, all he said was "first person to complete the puzzle, wins immunity." That's a technicality that Wendell could have ended up suing for, after the show was over. You can tell that he was pretty salty about it.

Whether Laurel let Wendell stay of her own volition, or whether the producers told her to do it (behind the scenes) to save their own asses, I think it was the fair thing to do.

You have to let Probst know you've finished. Wendell could've been moving back inspecting his puzzle for all Probst knew. He zoned out when he should've said "I think I got it" or something.

I don't think Laurel would've voted him (or Dom) out regardless of what happened. She's playing a 3rd place game at best. She's had multiple opportunities to get them out and didn't. She has to know she can't beat them. She could beat Donathan, Angela and probably Sebastian, however she seems to have go to the end with people she doesn't have a shot against.

I disagree r518, I think Michael was likeable. He has a nice personality, was very mature for his age and played a good and resilient game despite being a constant target. Yes he is hot, but thats what people on DL talk about all the time on every thread about everything, doesnt change that he was also likeable and good to route for. Conversely, although on paper Chris was hot (though I still fail to see how hes a model), he was such a douche that you couldnt wait for him to get his comeuppance and actually routed against him.

This was a very interesting scenario. On past puzzles, it seems as if you have to call out Jeff's name, but Jeff never said that in the rules. Plus, other challenges don't require a call out. On the other hand, there is no penalty for calling out Jeff's name in error.

I haven't been a huge fan of the recent Survivor seasons, but kept hearing great things about the foreign versions of Survivor (Australia, New Zealand, South Africa). My take:

The Australian and New Zealand editions are ok. They're much longer than the US show (probably about 70 minutes a show, compared to ~40 minutes in US. The production and editing/pacing feels very different. By the end of Australia, you'll want to shoot yourself every time a contestant talks about "mateship". They're worth watching if you're into Survivor, but you may find opportune times to hit the FF button to get through some of the repetitive confessionals. (Especially since Australia's second season had 24(!) contestants.

South Africa was a bit of a surprise to me. I thought the production values and pacing were on par with US Survivor, and the editing even better. I'm just three episodes in, but just about every player gets some screen time. There maybe a couple that get lesser airtime, but nothing like the US "all or nothing" editing, where half the players get 90% of the airtime, while the Chelsea's, Sebastian's and Libby's of the world get the remaining 10%. And maybe the reason for that as it seems like all the contestants are willing to mix it up and play. Anyway, big recommendation for this series, at least after the first three episodes.

Probst is completely oblivious to how fucking annoying he happens to be.

Jeff is the star of one of the most popular TV shows that has been consistently popular for more than 15 years, btw.
