Think anyone will go see them?
Kevin Spacey has a couple movies yet to come out
by Anonymous | reply 56 | March 20, 2018 2:09 AM |
I am sure they'll be blockbuster hits. *lol*
by Anonymous | reply 1 | March 18, 2018 6:20 PM |
Why is this post here? He betrayed this community by 'coming out' only when he was under pressure for his crimes. I despise him for this. I used to pity him for his past life and how far he's fallen because of his deeply sick proclivities. I hope he manages to find some redemption by helping his victims, otherwise I could care less about him and won't see his movies. There's a long and growing list.
by Anonymous | reply 2 | March 18, 2018 6:26 PM |
Yes.
by Anonymous | reply 3 | March 18, 2018 6:29 PM |
I hope he will come back because I adore him.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | March 18, 2018 7:01 PM |
I would. And I will continue to watch his previous movies again.
Loved Usual Suspects and House of Cards. He's a great actor.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | March 18, 2018 7:10 PM |
HE IS THE BEST. HE IS CHARISMATIC FABULOUS HANDSOME AND MUCH MORE.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | March 18, 2018 7:13 PM |
Thanks for weighing in about yourself, Kev at r6.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | March 18, 2018 7:18 PM |
Those young men came on to him!
by Anonymous | reply 8 | March 18, 2018 7:19 PM |
Hell yeah. A lot of people still want to see Gore. Hopefully someone buys it from Netflix.
I heard about the Billionaire Boys Club. To be fair, that movie is an indie, had a relatively low budget ($11M) & it was finished in 2016. It couldn't get a distributor long before the scandals broke out. So that might be shelved permanently. But I hope not.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | March 18, 2018 7:20 PM |
Did he try to grope anyone on set of these films?
by Anonymous | reply 10 | March 18, 2018 7:26 PM |
Who cares. Enough. #enough
by Anonymous | reply 11 | March 18, 2018 7:33 PM |
I'm a fan of Ansel Elgort and would like to see Billionare Boy's Club. Gore sounds interesting but the film is still unfinished. It was done filming but still in post production when the scandal hit.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | March 18, 2018 7:45 PM |
Where is Kevin hiding these days?
by Anonymous | reply 13 | March 18, 2018 11:23 PM |
I will.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | March 18, 2018 11:27 PM |
People will go see them because not everyone reads the news or cares. Any many? Who knows?
by Anonymous | reply 15 | March 18, 2018 11:52 PM |
Interesting that Kevin has been in two movies with Ansel Elgort in a span of a year.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | March 19, 2018 12:10 AM |
Some will,go for morbid curiosity. Never liked him.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | March 19, 2018 12:27 AM |
Watch Kevin in the new movie Call Me By The Name Of That Kid I Raped
by Anonymous | reply 18 | March 19, 2018 2:31 AM |
His movies will come out in a couple of years. However PC the companies that financed them are, they will want some sort of return on their investment. And a video dump will probably produce a lot of cash. Give it a year or so. This nonsense will blow over and we'll be at war with China and Korea. The "horrors" we're facing now are silly, Trump-era worries. There's worse to come. We are worried about all of the wrong things.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | March 19, 2018 2:43 AM |
It's not nonsense, delusional fantard at r19.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | March 19, 2018 2:56 AM |
"Watch Kevin in the new movie Call Me By The Name Of That Kid I Raped"
How about Colin Farrell, as the new guy I raped, in "Tigerwood"? Or Matthew McConnaughey, as a guy that I fucked and then Joel S. fucked, in "A Time to Kill"? Hey, hey, hey! That's where I am today!
by Anonymous | reply 21 | March 19, 2018 2:57 AM |
What kid was Kevin Spacey accused of raping? Adam Rapp?
by Anonymous | reply 22 | March 19, 2018 2:58 AM |
I think they're suggesting that Kevin raped Timothee.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | March 19, 2018 2:59 AM |
Well if that’s the case then the little French whore was asking for it.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | March 19, 2018 3:01 AM |
He'll be back. Everyone is already extremely fatigued over these whiney MeToo professional victims. Another couple of months and nobody will be able to recall why Spacey got in trouble in the first place.
(And Spacey no more "raped" Anthony Rapp than the Duke lacrosse boys raped that girl. Total "Childrens Hour" bullshit.)
by Anonymous | reply 25 | March 19, 2018 3:04 AM |
He wasn't French, though. He was from Long Island, wasn't he?
by Anonymous | reply 26 | March 19, 2018 3:05 AM |
But Kevin, why? There was a weird segment in you SNL episode from the mid90s where you said you would stab yourself with crystal meth and fuck the whole family. Is that where you're at?
by Anonymous | reply 27 | March 19, 2018 3:11 AM |
All these years later?
by Anonymous | reply 28 | March 19, 2018 3:12 AM |
"What kid was Kevin Spacey accused of raping? Adam Rapp?"
Maybe you missed the account from the guy who was 14 when he "dated" Kevin
by Anonymous | reply 29 | March 19, 2018 3:45 AM |
I'm guessing all the bellhops, bartenders, and waiters in Los Angeles, New York, and London will be taking a rain check
by Anonymous | reply 30 | March 19, 2018 3:18 PM |
Both movies will eventually be released as direct-to-video, so you can rent the Betamax tapes from your local video rental store.
by Anonymous | reply 32 | March 19, 2018 3:37 PM |
They might get Netflixed or vodd.
by Anonymous | reply 33 | March 19, 2018 3:47 PM |
He's a talented actor, but he's treated other people so badly that it's very hard to watch him at this point.
by Anonymous | reply 34 | March 19, 2018 3:55 PM |
Will the DVD/Blu-ray release of All The Money In The World include his scenes?
by Anonymous | reply 35 | March 19, 2018 4:37 PM |
I will. He's a fantastic actor.
by Anonymous | reply 36 | March 19, 2018 4:48 PM |
It’s become clearly apparent anyone expressing, much less thinking, MeToo is just people whining is guilty of misconduct themselves or an apathetic troll at best. R25
The man is a predator.

"It’s become clearly apparent anyone expressing, much less thinking, MeToo is just people whining is guilty of misconduct themselves"
This bitch again. Seriously, are you on call? Does a bell ring when someone posts on a Spacey or Weinstein thread?
What a stupid cunt.
by Anonymous | reply 38 | March 19, 2018 5:12 PM |
R38 Whoops, looks like someone struck a nerve.
Try fanning yourself, that may help.
by Anonymous | reply 39 | March 19, 2018 5:44 PM |
what a wit. Does that bullshit TimesUp movement have you on retainer? Keeping you busy with your pearl clutching?
by Anonymous | reply 40 | March 19, 2018 5:50 PM |
Sure, why shouldn't I see Spacey's movies? I never chose to see his movies before based on his character or his predilections, but his acting ability, so why should that change now? Just like I won't stop seeing Woody Allen films or a chance to see Levine conduct or listen to a Wagner opera or appreciate a Caravaggio---flawed humans all, like the rest of us. This Puritan (and strictly American) tendency to see life in black/white--good/bad is not a little juvenile and I'm disgusted by it, frankly. If every work of art was held to a standard by the character of its creator, I doubt there would be a book, composition, painting, ballet, what have you, left in existence.
by Anonymous | reply 41 | March 19, 2018 5:53 PM |
I hope he rots in hell.
by Anonymous | reply 42 | March 19, 2018 5:54 PM |
If they look interesting I'll catch them on Netflix or somewhere.
by Anonymous | reply 43 | March 19, 2018 5:57 PM |
R42 = mug cradler
by Anonymous | reply 44 | March 19, 2018 6:00 PM |
I feel bad for the lovely Douglas Booth. Poor thing was posting IG pics from the Amalfi coast for months while filming Gore. It may never see the light of day.
by Anonymous | reply 45 | March 19, 2018 6:08 PM |
He plays the same way over and over. You know what you're going to get with him. But basically he is unlikable, so, no.
by Anonymous | reply 46 | March 19, 2018 6:32 PM |
[quote]Loved Usual Suspects and House of Cards.
Quite the discerning sophisticate
by Anonymous | reply 47 | March 19, 2018 6:35 PM |
Last I heard, tween rapers tend NOT to pack out theatres.
by Anonymous | reply 48 | March 19, 2018 6:36 PM |
Where is LaKevin anyway?
by Anonymous | reply 49 | March 19, 2018 6:37 PM |
Please do not reply to this thread. OP is a super-troll whose only interest is in tearing down all of DL by pitting DLers against each other.
OP has no interest whatsoever in any of the following topics: sexual abuse, rape, free speech, pedophiles, witch hunts, artistic merit, or any other topics. For background, please see this thread started by another concerned DLer.

"This Puritan (and strictly American) tendency to see life in black/white--good/bad is not a little juvenile and I'm disgusted by it, frankly. "
It's hardly Puritan or strictly American to be against rape and child abuse. I don't think Britons were too forgiving of, say, Jimmy Savile....

Paul Francis Gadd aka Gary Glitter is rather frowned upon as well.
by Anonymous | reply 52 | March 20, 2018 12:48 AM |
And yet millions around the world sing his song in sports stadiums every year. Nobody cares about this shit (and he was actually convicted). Kevin will be smooth sailing soon enough. Short memories/indifference/idiots all equal parts.
by Anonymous | reply 53 | March 20, 2018 12:56 AM |
I do , same for Franco they won't suffer I believe for more than a year or so . To well liked. The others are toast. He (Spacey) will lie low to kick up the curiosity factor , Franco also. Pretty sure Casey Affleck will persevere also as there will be a lot more accusations coming forward timed with movie releases and award show nominations.
by Anonymous | reply 54 | March 20, 2018 1:15 AM |
R53 The song is pretty much absent from sporting events and on air playlists, with the fastest decline after the NFL instructed teams to quit using it. It’s since been replaced pretty much across the board by national teams and anytime a mom involved with a scholastic team hears about the convictions it’s removed from those events too.
Sounds more like you just don’t give a shit.
by Anonymous | reply 55 | March 20, 2018 1:31 AM |
Do a poll at the average sporting event and they will have no idea whom Gary Glitter is, let alone that he is responsible for the song they shout "Hey!" along to. I still love it myself, have since childhood.
Just as I still love Clinton and his years in office and Spacey in "American Beauty" and "Suspects" among other things. And Franco -- though I was how little I cared for his work in "Disaster Artist" (I hate when he shouts and plays to the rafters, looks totally phony. His quiet moments are always his best).
