How to link another thread within a new post?

I've checked the help section, and don't understand how to make a clickable link to another DL thread, where the text will finally appear as OVER HERE (or whatever.)

Might someone please help me? I HAVE [italic]VERY VERY[/italic] EXCITING THINGS TO POST THAT WAY!

Apparently there is a point after which old DL threads aren't searchable, even by Google, but there are some old faves still out there.

OP, first, you have to turn off and unplug your modem. Do that and then I'll tell you the second step.

You can only do it if you're accessing Datalounge through Prodigy or CompuServe.
