In my day we wore sensible loose cotton shorts.
But these slinky synthetic fabrics cling to the tender parts of the flesh creating static and arousing the organs.
I would wear one of these.

When you practice wrestle, R22, you fight the guy closest to your weight class, right?
by Anonymous | reply 23 | November 19, 2017 4:46 PM |
1. You don't "fight," you spar.
2. Sparring at practice is usually divided up by weight classes, yes. But you can learn moves with other guys one up or down in your weight class. It's not safe for a bigger guy to spar with a much smaller guy, although it can be done at 'half-energy' (lightly going over moves, not at full force).
3. Your opponent is IN your weight class:
by Anonymous | reply 24 | November 19, 2017 5:40 PM |
Do some of these wrestlers intentionally get hard and then rub their cocks against the holes of their opponents as a winning tactic? Or is it some unspoken thing that they both enjoy?
by Anonymous | reply 25 | November 19, 2017 5:43 PM |
Thanks, R24. I couldn't be a wrestler because I had the hugest crush on the guy who would have been the next weight class up from me. He wanted me to join because he wouldn't have to diet down to my weight class. He was the first guy I ever crushed on that hard, and hard is what I'd've been all through practice. I would have cum, sparring with him.

Mandatory wrestling in junior high for all boys (Iowa; mid-1970s). For the heterosexual guys who wrestle and sometimes get sexually aroused I don't think it has to do with same-sex attraction but more to do with confronting physical strength and domination which, in a way, evokes the dynamics of sexual intercourse where a heterosexual man kind of subjugates a woman and makes her his.
When they consciously or subconsciously rub their penis against their opponent they feel dominant as they do in sex.

Originally, sports were tightly intertwined with same-sex attraction. I don't remember the characters right now, but there is the an anecdote from ncient Greece when a young athlete, perfectly muscular had an army of thirst male fans who loved his athletic skills but also they loved his incredible muscualr body. He was the sensation among guys they they añways wante dto sit close to him. One of those philosophers of the time wrote how much the athlete was a sex bomb among guys.
So basically, that's the nature of many sports like wrestling. Conflict arises when heterosexual men enter the field.

R93 - where do you think college wrestlers come from? High school teams.
It is interesting that men viewing wrestling may find it homoerotic but I don't think the wrestlers do. They're focused on the match. Not only are points scored during the match but the way a wrestler wins a match determines the number of points awarded a team. Honestly by the time a wrestler is competing he has had enough close male on male contact that it is no longer erotic.

Oil wrestling can be traced back to the ancient Sumer and Babylon.[5] Greco-Roman traditions also point to the practice of oil wrestling.
Turkish wrestlers started covering themselves according to Islamic law (between the navel and the knees) after the 10th century
Wrestlers oil one another prior to matches as a demonstration of balance and mutual respect. If a man defeats an older opponent, he kisses the latter's hand (a sign of respect for elders in Turkey)

R133 That’s how they frame it. In reality the homoeroticism is the only reason anyone has any interest in professional wrestling. It’s fake fighting with oiled up muscley men in underwear acting animalistically aggressive toward one another without causing harm—it’s a surrogate for gay sex, including the body contact, writhing and grunting and groaning.

I have heterosexual friends who used to like WWE. They even played the cards game that used to be sold at the time. I, on the other hand, being homosexual was less interested in WWE except for some wrestlers who I found attractive such as John Cena orthe display of apparent physical strength.
Even though the fight is all fake it still makes guys interested in it. One of them used to say that WWE is like soap opera for men. The show contains soap opera-ish stuff that gets their attention such as love affairs with female wrestlers.

QUESTION. Different athletes have different types of bodies...football players are big and beefy, baseball players kind of average-muscley, basketball players long and lean, ice skaters gazelle-like. All of that makes sense to me based on how they practice and what the sports involve. All wrestlers seem to have the same build, but simply rolling around and grabbing one another doesn’t seem like it would create that type of steroidal figure. Is there some sort of wrestler-bodybuilding routine that is standard, or how do they all end up with the same type of body?

Heterosexual women and homosexual men being attraced to men we seem to be attracted to men differently. We seem more fascinated with the male body, athleticism and physical strength. Not for everybody of course, but it seems we find things like wrestling pretty erotic while women seem a bit less delighted by these displays of maleness...
Since I was a litlle kid I remember I always found it a turn-on when guys would armwrestle or made display of physical strength in general.
I have a theory why perhaps gay men may be more attracted to these traits in men and how they may have benefitted human communities in primitive times.

No thanks R163

Homoerotic bullshit! Only fags find two men wrestling a turn-on. Real men see it only as a contest of besting each other.

Yeah, delude yourself with that R165

Display of physical strength is erotic, especially if men have the body that suggests such idea to our primitive senses favoured by evolution. "

Yes, erections can happen but they don't happen that frequently.

Most homoerotic wrestling videos on Youtube are a disappointment, you rarely get to see a boner.
by Anonymous | reply 181 | March 12, 2018 9:08 PM |
Because they rarely get boners. It’s the grinding and gyrating, sweating, squeezing of bulging muscles and crotch rubbing between two virile males that cobstitutes the eroticism. The primal domination.

Fondle your wrestler boyfriend on his rod so that the goes out all hard and stimulated :)

The more homoerotically charged a sport the more homophobic environment because they are fully awara of the nature of their sport. Homophobia as overcompenation.

Erections aren't that rare in HS and college wrestling. We had a whole thread of stills and videos. Of course, the HS cock gets pulled off the internet almost as soon as it's posted.

imagine having one of these guys as your randomly chosen roommate in college.
he comes home from a meet, having lost and he wants to have a win; or he won and he's still so hyped up he ravages you.

That's the reason I pick on wrestling fights at school. There some little dry humping in the end but most of the time it doesn't go far enough.

This reminded me, a cousin of mine used to wrestle me when I was 7 to 9 years old while he was like 15. He was a bit violent but now that I think of it it seemed like it turned him on to dominate me and be on top of me. I don't remember everything, but I think he would also press his crotch against my body once he had me immobilized.

Im sorry, I never understood high school wrestling.........what motivates straight guys to want to have that much pyhsical contact with somebody of the same sex? I had a very big thing in high school for a close friend that was a high school wrestler...we never actually had sex but we did stuff that I dont think any of my other high school friends would have ever done in a million years.
When I finally confonted him about it a few years later he was all in denial. It did turn out another one of his friends accused him of the same thing.................He didnt date much in college and never in high school. He eventually got married and had 2 kids. I stalked him on line about 15 years ago and he was trying to start an over the hill wrestling tournament for fellow 50 plus year olds in a small town in the midwest. I dont know if he got anybody else interested, but what would a straight 50 year want to wrestle other 50 year olds for? I had to wonder what his wife must think?

I think it would be very difficult to find it today but there used to be a text from a 90's documentary on wrestling and homoeroticism/homosexuality and a heterosexual wrestler declared he couldn't deny that such close and intimate contact with other men gave him and the other wrestlers sexual pleasure. Something like the boundaries between heterosexuality and homosexuality cease to exist at that moment. I remember he also said that is why there is so much homophobia in this kind of sports, because homoeroticism is all over the place in these practices.

never understood straight guys in junior high, high school, or college being into wrestling? It just didnt and doesnt compute for me?
by Anonymous | reply 207 | March 23, 2019 11:31 PM |
When I was a wrestler in Jr. High and High School in the late 1960s and then later college in the early 70s, we were definitely allowed to wear jockstraps under our singlets. That has changed?
by Anonymous | reply 208 | March 24, 2019 7:38 AM |
Yeah, wrestling other boys in elementary, jr high and high school was my outlet. Since being small i couldnt win but beinging squeeze by twink type boys was heaven.

Now that I remember, when I was like 7 or 8 years old my mother and I visited relatives in a town near where I live. My mother left me with my cousin in his bedroom to play. He is like 3 years older and he was considerably bigger and stronger than me. I don't remember exact how, I think he was pressuming his biceps, I guess I probably questioned his strength like the child I was and then he proceeded to wrestle me. I was a child but I still remember it made him sexually aroused. That thing of dominating me and exerting his strength on me turned him on. He was hurting me but luckily my aunt walked in and made him stop. I think she also perceived him wrestling me had a sexually-charged component on his part.
