"Are you a Lactater??" Eight-Year-Old Drag Queen Takes On DragCon

Lactatia is the child drag queen who wants parents to know that Drag is for all ages and that it is not inappropriate for kids or provocative.

She certainly has the look and the attitude.

Are you a Lactater? Or should someone scrub this boy's face and sit him down in a school room?

[quote]that Drag is for all ages

Nope!

Drag queens were never meant to be kid friendly. A good drag queen has a subversive sense of humor that knows how to entertain a group of gay MEN.

by Anonymousreply 1September 22, 2017 6:18 PM

If your 8-year old is calling himself Lactatia... bitch, you got problems.

by Anonymousreply 2September 22, 2017 6:20 PM

It's creepy in the same way that an 8-year-old girl in that get-up would be creepy.

by Anonymousreply 3September 22, 2017 6:21 PM

Ugh, look, kids experiment. When you're young, sometimes boys like playing with the basketballs, and other times they like playing with the barbie. And sometimes they like to play dress up in dresses (usually NOT an indicator they are going to grow up transgender).

While I appreciate parents who let their kids be kids, and explore this on their own, I feel like it's something that should be done privately. Not because there is anything wrong with it, but because of the future. It's one thing when little boys are just curious and try drag in the attic or something, it's another for family members to say "Hey honey, let's make you fabulous and strut you around the world for everyone to see!".

What happens if that kid grows up and it was just a phase? Now they are the "drag kid" or whatever. It's kind of making kids experiment with their identity in public which the record of lasts forever. I suspect this kid may be mortified his parents had him do this when he turns into his twenties.

by Anonymousreply 4September 22, 2017 6:22 PM

I don't see anything wrong with this, as long as he's a well-behaved kid, and doesn't act up in ways that might cause his poor parents to discipline him with regrettable consequences.

by Anonymousreply 5September 22, 2017 6:27 PM

that is just so wrong

by Anonymousreply 6September 22, 2017 6:30 PM

[quote]What happens if that kid grows up and it was just a phase?

Than it is just a phase. So what, they put on a dress? It is the end of the world!!!!

I know this board is older, but man my grandma's knitting club would've thought the posters here are too stuffy and uptight.

by Anonymousreply 7September 22, 2017 6:32 PM

Of course they are Canadian

by Anonymousreply 8September 22, 2017 6:40 PM

Put that boy in football and give him extra bible study.

by Anonymousreply 9September 22, 2017 6:55 PM

As long as this doesn't lead to hormone blockers and estrogen before the kid is 18, I don't see the harm.

by Anonymousreply 10September 22, 2017 6:56 PM

^^ Thats EXACTLY where its headed.

by Anonymousreply 11September 22, 2017 7:12 PM

All I think in cases like this is that it is the parent's influence and encouragement that is driving the engine. everyone is trying to go viral these days.

by Anonymousreply 12September 22, 2017 7:19 PM

Lactatia seems to have been warmly embraced by "the industry" and fans. So it's not just the parents who are encouraging her but the community as well.

by Anonymousreply 13September 22, 2017 7:24 PM

[quote]Ugh, look, kids experiment

Experimenting with the stuff your parents have...I doubt his mother had any of those things in her drawers.

by Anonymousreply 14September 22, 2017 7:30 PM

[quote]other times they like playing with the barbie

No one should let their kids play near open flame, though.

by Anonymousreply 15September 22, 2017 7:32 PM

R15 isn't so good with the comedy

by Anonymousreply 16September 22, 2017 7:39 PM

This feels wrong, but I can't come up with a rational reason why I feel it.

by Anonymousreply 17September 22, 2017 7:39 PM

The stage dance he did (@ 3:09 mark in the interview video) was a bit overly 'sexy' towards the end. Lying down, spreading his legs by lifting one up, bending it and languidly caressing the floor and his leg with his hand.

Those are basically adult stripper moves. A bit too cringey when performed by an 8-year-old to an audience of adults.

And it's shared on YouTube with a general global audience, which will likely include pervs who'll enjoy that suggestive sliding around on stage by a dolled-up pre-teen.

Regardless of his appearance, it's creepy and strange for a young boy to surprise an adult woman with the question "Are you a lactater?"

by Anonymousreply 19September 22, 2017 7:47 PM

Eight is too young for sexy.

by Anonymousreply 20September 22, 2017 7:48 PM

Is the name an homage to the tranny agenda?

by Anonymousreply 21September 22, 2017 7:48 PM

At his age, I was prancing around in my wig (bath towel) and my gown (a bathrobe) but I did it in my locked bedroom with no one else around.

Doing it onstage for a crowd and on the Internet seems....dicey at best.

by Anonymousreply 22September 22, 2017 7:51 PM

This is completely immodest and will only make people resent us.

by Anonymousreply 23September 22, 2017 7:55 PM

The kid did not come up with that repulsive name on his own just like he didn't come up with his whole drag schtick on his own. His fat frau SJW mama bear did.

by Anonymousreply 24September 22, 2017 7:55 PM

I'm with r3.

The kid needs to doing something productive to cultivate his mind....like read books or learn a second language

by Anonymousreply 25September 22, 2017 8:06 PM

R24 agreed. Mom is obese and dad is clearly gay

by Anonymousreply 26September 22, 2017 8:06 PM

R7, the problem, as you well know, is that nowadays people want to mess with the biochemistry of GNC kids.

It's impossible to change bio sex. Adults know that...kids do not.

Regardless of what this kid wears, he's biologically male....he's a boy.

by Anonymousreply 27September 22, 2017 8:08 PM

R18 he can't dance for shit

by Anonymousreply 28September 22, 2017 8:09 PM

lol r15 good one

by Anonymousreply 29September 22, 2017 8:09 PM

So he wears girls' clothes, what harm could it do?

by Anonymousreply 30September 22, 2017 8:13 PM

I'm not so sure about the name. A few different people have commented in different videos that the boy chose the name Lactatia himself which is what makes it so funny. Not sure if that is true, of course.

by Anonymousreply 31September 22, 2017 9:02 PM

In OP's video, the kid's whole get-up is sexual and erotic: bright red lipstick, cat-eyes makeup, (fake eye-lashes?), black neck choker(!), black tights/stockings and high heels. This visual collection of sexual fetishes makes him look like a little Lolita sex-doll.

Self-expression through makeup & dress is one thing. But he's a prepubescent kid emulating an erotic look which he saw on adults - a look primarily used by adults to attract sexual attention.

by Anonymousreply 32September 22, 2017 9:37 PM

Kill it.

by Anonymousreply 33September 22, 2017 9:49 PM

No. I enjoy drag queens but not when they're 8.

I also question the name and how this kid apparently came up with it himself. Does he even know what "lactating" means?

There's definitely the reek of narcissistic, talentless and exploitative parents here.

by Anonymousreply 34September 22, 2017 9:53 PM

The upside of an eight year-old drag queen is that he doesn't need to tuck.

by Anonymousreply 35September 22, 2017 9:54 PM

Sorry but the kid was rude to other queens. Fuck HIM!

by Anonymousreply 36September 22, 2017 9:54 PM

Little kids don't know what Sexy or Slutty means but they grasp sparkle and glam which is usually what Sexy and Slutty looks like.

It would be interesting if Lactatia had a more realistic representation of older womanhood but that would be no fun, I guess.

by Anonymousreply 40September 22, 2017 10:44 PM

Before I saw the video I thought "eh no big deal."

After watching I hate that kid. I hope a group of black, 6'7" tranny hookers think he's moving in on their trade and beat the shit out of him.

by Anonymousreply 41September 22, 2017 10:47 PM

He may not be a jerk, he may be performing for the cameras.

by Anonymousreply 42September 23, 2017 1:15 AM

Agree with R20 and R32 - it would be really creepy if an eight-year old girl was dressed this way and acting seductively for the crowds and cameras, so I don't see why it's a boy doing drag negates it.

by Anonymousreply 46September 23, 2017 2:01 PM

I love a good drag queen as much as the next person, but this is just wrong and creepy. He's too young. Hold on to your childhood as long as possible. There's plenty of time for everything else.

by Anonymousreply 47September 23, 2017 3:18 PM

I see a future of gang ass rape for this kid, even before he gets to high school. But definitely once he gets there.

Wonder if his parents will take responsibility for endangering their kid then?

Doubt it.

by Anonymousreply 48September 23, 2017 3:35 PM

Maybe he'll get bored and move on to video games or whatever.

by Anonymousreply 49September 25, 2017 1:08 AM

by Anonymousreply 50September 25, 2017 1:10 AM

by Anonymousreply 51September 25, 2017 6:13 AM

That bitch is the worst voguer I've ever seen.

by Anonymousreply 52September 25, 2017 6:34 AM

Could we somehow blame this on hormones in the milk?

by Anonymousreply 53September 25, 2017 7:01 AM

This child is almost certainly the victim of a pedo attack. Nothing else would make an 8 year old even know about this shit.

by Anonymousreply 54September 25, 2017 7:08 AM

They should just let him do it at home. The kid obviously doesn't understand what he's doing and the parents are assholes for flaunting their kid to get attention.

by Anonymousreply 55September 25, 2017 7:38 AM

Slappable Faces thread, we've got someone new for you!

by Anonymousreply 56September 25, 2017 10:12 AM

His parents are probably divorced and each one is trying to out do the other by letting the kid do whatever he wants.

"I give him ice cream for dinner!"

"I let him play with matches!"

"Well, I let him stay up late and make prank phone calls!"

"Well, I let him perform in drag for tips!"

Pleasantly surprised that in the vid at R74 this little gentleman can at least understand the difference between a heavily made-up female & a drag queen. His mother does not seem to grasp this.

I scoffed at this to begin with but Nemis does seem fairly intelligent, so perhaps it’s unfair to tear him down. He’s clearly put in work to learn the role & look the part.

by Anonymousreply 77November 29, 2017 12:04 PM

Out of drag Nemis reminds of a baby Bill Kaulitz (c.2000), sans the punk stylings.

I saw him interviewed by Daniel Toss on his show and when the kid was using his catch phrases he was fine but when he had to answer a question he seemed a little lost.

You can chalk that up to a kid being interviewed and not knowing what to say but to me it seems like the kid is being coached by his parents and that bothers me.

And I agree with R76.

by Anonymousreply 80November 29, 2017 1:24 PM

R53, soy milk maybe. It mimics estrogen in the body. Google soy boys. There's a problem with men with low t. They usually are male feminists or otherwise cucked.

R80, ditto.

Someone get this kid away from his SJW parents. This is a massive over correction to conservative disapproving parents. Child abuse, period.

by Anonymousreply 86November 29, 2017 7:26 PM

I’m sorry, but “drag culture” is not for children. It’s for mature adults. I see no harm in boys playing dressing up however.

by Anonymousreply 87November 29, 2017 7:32 PM

When little kids start behaving like adults, some people treat them like adults. I hope that this child isn’t confronted with more than he can handle.

by Anonymousreply 88November 29, 2017 8:40 PM

by Anonymousreply 103December 1, 2017 1:46 AM

The kid is cute, smart, poised. Obviously intelligent. But much too young to be in some constant bitchy performative mode. If you're some drag sensation at age 8, where do you go from that?

Can't the parents lead him to theater? Music lessons? Something else that would harness the kid's energy and focus and discipline them? He might be some great artist, if he found the right challenge.

by Anonymousreply 104December 1, 2017 1:55 AM

Call me old fashioned, but I don't think the drag scene is appropriate for an 8 year old. I agree with the poster above, get him in musical theatre, dance, something creative.

by Anonymousreply 105December 1, 2017 2:10 AM

It's as bad as the little girl pageants, except now you add homophobes to the pedo-perv mix. It's fine for dress up at home, just not for the public.

by Anonymousreply 106December 1, 2017 2:19 AM

The parents don’t lead him to theater or music lessons because —shocker!—those activities don’t attract the attention of TV reporters and national magazines and they don’t create an overnight social media sensation.

Money and fame is all that matters.

Exclusive: Nine-year-old drag queen horrifically abused after modelling for LGBT fashion company

Josh Jackman, 9th January 2018, 6:58 PM

PinkNews Exclusive

A nine-year-old drag queen has experienced a horrific backlash after they modelled for a clothing company.

Canadian Nemis Quinn Mélançon Golden hit the headlines last year when he stole the show during a Bianca Del Rio comedy set.

And the youngster went viral when he told viewers on YouTube: “If you wanna be a drag queen and your parents don’t let you, you need new parents.

“If you wanna be a drag queen and your friends don’t you, you need new friends.”

Now Lactatia has modelled for LGBT clothing company House of Mann – and slayed.

He wrote on Facebook: “Over the holidays we had been gifted a custom piece from the incredible burlesque, drag and ballroom performance wear designers from the #HouseofMann!

“Much love for artists supporting artists!”

But his appearance has led to a horrifying flood of threats and abuse on social media.

The nine-year-old has been targeted with vile comments, while House of Mann owner Brandon Hilton has received death threats and countless tweets telling him he’s a paedophile.

Lactatia’s mother Jessica Melancon told PinkNews that it was “absolutely disturbing, the amount of online hate and backlash House of Mann has received and is receiving.

“These people, the ones who hate on it so fiercely, do not understand drag, drag couture, drag performance. eight-year-old drag queen lactaciaLactatia and her mum (YouTube)

“There’s no point in even trying to explain it to them either, because they can’t, won’t and don’t want to understand it.

“House of Mann designs brilliant drag and burlesque pieces. No, Lactatia will NOT be modelling their burlesque pieces, and the fact that we need to clarify that is absolutely absurd.

“House of Mann gifted Lactatia with a beautiful, head to toe, sequined one piece tailored to size!

“It is a Lactatia favourite and she looks forward to incorporating it into a performance!”

Fortunately, the nine-year-old and his mum are used to the abuse.

Jessica said: “Every time we’ve gone viral, the internet is up in arms about it! eight-year-old drag queen lactacia(YouTube)

“For myself personally, I don’t feed the trolls and I don’t care what people have to say, no matter how profoundly awful.

“It really doesn’t bother me!

In true drag style, she signed off: “God bless Mama Ru.”

Understandably, this didn’t seem to be the way Hilton took the horrendous torrent of abuse he has faced.

“Woke up to countless tweets telling me ‘kill yourself’ and calling me a ‘pedo’ after we announced 9 year old drag superstar Lactatia as our new HOUSE OF MANN covergirl,” Hilton wrote on Twitter.

“If you can’t handle a kid in a sequin onesie, maybe the future isn’t for you!”

Speaking to PinkNews, Hilton said it was “disturbing to me that people look at a fully clothed kid in a onesie and see sex…we definitely did not!”

He accused Reddit, 4Chan and the right-wing media of implementing “a smear campaign against me and my company House Of Mann, claiming the ads are child pornography”.

Hilton said that haters had incited “a global riot on Twitter that has now resulted in blogs, media and broadcasts around the world calling me a paedophile [and] telling me to kill myself”.

He added that he had “received hundreds of death threats, all in 48 hours.”

Lactatia is the House of Mann’s new spokesmodel for its line of sequin onesies, which Hilton said were “now available in kids’ sizes after she saw it, loved it and ordered a custom one from us.

“We are shocked and saddened that people misunderstood what we stand for and are about,” he continued.

“We are a menswear and drag queen clothing company and Lactatia is a new face with a bright future ahead of her; it makes sense that we would dress her!

“We would never say no to an artist simply because of their age – now THAT would make us monsters!”

Of course, drag will always rile people up. They just don’t like when a boy dresses like a girl, no sirree!

He's the poster boy for a sexual fetish gear and clothing company. The metallic onesie this 8 year-old child is modeling can be found amongst leather harnesses, black mesh jock staps, and latex chaps.

The House of Mann website is down with all of the traffic, but that's who is using this little kid as social media bait to lure consumers.

But he's not dressing like a girl. He's dressing like a middle aged street hooker.

by Anonymousreply 126January 9, 2018 10:27 PM

There is something wrong with western culture when nobody bats an eye when kids are potrayed like hookers.

by Anonymousreply 127January 9, 2018 10:44 PM

That's because girl's clothing has gotten more and more revealing since the 1990s while the inverse has happened for boys' clothes. Boys mainly wore short shorts and briefs in the 1970s and 1980s and no one batted an eye, then in the 1990s everyone switched to saggy-baggy jeans and boxers, and men's fashion has been a joke ever since.

by Anonymousreply 128January 9, 2018 10:53 PM

Fine, R4, but not as a drag queen. That's adult entertainment. Let the kid rifle through Mom's closet. That's an age-appropriate activity.

by Anonymousreply 129January 9, 2018 10:56 PM

He's not wearing girl's clothing, though. He's wearing adult fetish outfits and is as sexualised as those little girls you see in those nauseating pageants. Just because it's 'different' and 'unique' doesn't mean it's also incredibly inappropriate for a child his age to be mixing in exclusively adult company and appearing on stage with Bianca Del Rio while she spews her profanities for cheap laughs. His parents are morons, at best.

by Anonymousreply 130January 9, 2018 10:59 PM

They're both nauseating for the same reasons, R130. You're not wrong to feel that way whenever you sense that children are being abused for fun and profit.

by Anonymousreply 131January 9, 2018 11:02 PM

Just don't take away her/his/its Pineapple

Just saying.

by Anonymousreply 132January 9, 2018 11:08 PM

Add a 3rd reason to be nauseated, R131 ... LGBT media (formerly known as gay media) applauds this garbage as revolutionary progress and something that "we" should applaud too. Zero criticism. Us versus the right-wing homo/transphobes/deplorables.

by Anonymousreply 133January 9, 2018 11:10 PM

I'd get it if this kid was trans; but he's not. He's just an all round mess, being enabled (probably in some respects forced) by his creepy, hipster parents.

I guess Jizz Jennings has been upstaged.

There's a new freakshow in town.

by Anonymousreply 138January 9, 2018 11:24 PM

Drugs & prostitution (oops, we're supposed to say "partying" and "sex work") Drag subculture is full of unsavory characters. Even though RuPaul Drag Race has gone a long way towards cleaning up its image, no child should be rubbing elbows with drag queens, promoters, and nightlife personalities.

The problem is not the drag. It's that the "sexy adult" makeup and "sexy adult" clothing (e.g. fish-net tights) make this underage kid look like a child whore, ready to be pimped out.

There are probably thousands of pervs wanking off to this child-p0rn.

And since the kid isn't anywhere near sexually mature yet - he doesn't know what sex (& sex-for-pay) is, and that he looks like a hooker. I blame the parents.

Imagine being a father and you are contacted by the proprietor of a sex toy / fetish gear store who wants to do a photo shoot with your eight year-old son.

Are people really so hungry for fame and fortune that they would place their child on the altar to be sacrificed?

by Anonymousreply 155January 10, 2018 10:18 AM

Yes.

by Anonymousreply 156January 10, 2018 10:26 AM

Lactatia has done a few interviews over the past year and this is the first I’m hearing of the father.

I assume that the mother and father are not married and are probably not communicating with each other. Maybe the bio dad is out of the picture and the step dad or, more likely, mama’s current boyfriend, is the child’s father figure.

by Anonymousreply 157January 10, 2018 5:03 PM

[quote] The push is enormous and constant, [R160]. They even have people going to tiny, rural communities to push "trans." Places that never really got "gay."

Can confirm.

My tiny hometown in Bumfuck has <5,000 people, and has in recent years welcomed a handful of very obviously crossdressed men (who insist on recognition as ‘transgender’) without a sound. This is the same rural community that has run off any local gay men and has made local lesbians invisible.

Jazz has been ruined. At 17 he’s old, fat, and his puberty-blocked micro peen is too teensy to invert into a fuckable bacteria-laden cavity/wound. Not a woman, not a boy, not a man, the media continues to “follow” (exploit) “her” (his) “journey” (downward spiral into depression) but it’s clear they need new fresh young gayling flesh. Enter “Lactatia.”

I’m reminded of the eunuchs of centuries past. Poor parents desperate for money would take their little boys to the local [barberic] barbers to have the boy’s testes sliced off with a razor. If they survived and they had good singing voices, they could become famous money makers, the Michael Jacksons and Justin Beibers of their day. Most of the time they didn’t have enough talent to succeed as singers and they lived out the rest of their abbreviated, lonely lives with the health problems which result from incomplete male development.

By the mid 1800s the public lost its taste for castrato, deemed the practice cruel and illegal, and it looked as if civilization had evolved past that dark curiosity for good. But as Miss Shirley Bassey sang, “it’s all just history repeating”

by Anonymousreply 197March 20, 2018 6:00 PM

The Lactatia thing is incredibly creepy. It's a like a little girl dressing up as a guy and deciding to call herself Ejaculatia or Prosatatia. And, yeah, I'm adding another vote for "let the kid play dress-up at home or with other little kids, but drag culture is not for children." The whole point of a drag show is to act slutty and sexy and dirty; kids should not be allowed to attend, let alone participate.

by Anonymousreply 198March 20, 2018 6:17 PM

Parents of actual girls are aware of protecting their daughters from "the wrong kind of attention."

Nightlife is full of predators; gay and straight.

These boys will eventual be molested, if they haven't been already.

by Anonymousreply 199March 20, 2018 6:23 PM

Some weirdo with some kind of freaky fetish is probably jerking off to this kid. Hope his parents are smart enough to keep a close eye on him...oh, wait they're not. They're letting a prepubescent child participate in drag culture. Drag is for adults, not kids. If the kid wants to play dress up at home, fine, but he doesn't need to be shaking his was in public. God knows what kinds of freaks know about him now.
