I've been rewatching the earlier seasons on Hulu to get my mother up to speed on all the housewives of every franchise. We are currently up to the iconic third season of RHONY. I forgot how much of a delusional narssistic cunt Jill is. That gigantic fight with bethenny over her "get a hobby" line was ridiculous. It was evident then that Jill suffers from NPD and was not only jealous of bethenneys new success but also of her new love life and busy schedule that didn't include Jill. As cunty as Ramona was for implying to bethenney in season 1 that Jill looked at her as the underdog, in hindsight Ramona was right. Jill needs to surround herself with underdogs to make her feel needed and important. How Bawby put up with her I don't know. He was a saint. RIP Bobby. Bethenney has become more mean spirited and cold in the later seasons but I don't blame her after the way she was treated by Ramona, Jill and Luann in the first 3 seasons. I hate kelly but I'd like to see her back just for the drama. RHONY is the only franchise that remains entertaining after all these years. I like Carol! I don't understand all the haters and dislike towards her. She's cool and laid back and calm. Every franchise has a Carole type. I also love the fact that she was Lee Radziwills, daughter in law. I like Lee as a figure in history and the fact that her sister is Jackie Kennedy Onasiss is also fascinating to me. She also the most high profile person on the show because of her connections to historical people. That definitely plays into why I like Carol so much. I also love her fun youthful energy she displays on the show. Not everyone has to be crazy and stuffy. She may be an elitist, but I don't get the feeling that she thinks she's better than others.
