Lynda Carter

Just saw her as a judge on RuPaul's Drag U. Simply ravishing. Is she aging exceptionally well, or does she have the best plastic surgeon in the world? She is older, but still elegant and beautiful, and there's no hint of that stretched and waxy look so many of them get. I am just in awe of her.

by Anonymousreply 24106/08/2017

[quote]Simply ravishing. Is she aging exceptionally well, or does she have the best plastic surgeon in the world? Both. See Smith, Jaclyn

by Anonymousreply 108/30/2011

I used to make fun of her for pitching drugstore lipstick when her own lips were so thin. Now I think she's tremendous.

by Anonymousreply 208/30/2011

Mine is the best!

by Anonymousreply 308/30/2011

Admittedly she has aged nicely, but she has always been about beauty over her questionable talent. There's no question that she's a not talent.

by Anonymousreply 408/30/2011

She's never done a thing for me, then or now. I don't know what people see in her. Maybe it's her tits.

by Anonymousreply 508/30/2011

She has great genetics. She probably also has great procedural help.

by Anonymousreply 608/30/2011

Always hated her bland face, persona and acting ability, and she can't sing, neither can Cybill Shepherd.

by Anonymousreply 708/30/2011

You get a little taste of singing in the Maybelline mascara ad in which she's "rehearsing one of her specials" (she had specials?). I wish I could find a clip of that ad.

by Anonymousreply 808/30/2011

Found it!

by Anonymousreply 908/30/2011

Lynda Carter is the definitive Wonder Woman. That makes her OK with me.

by Anonymousreply 1008/30/2011

She made some very unintentionally funny LifeTime movies.

by Anonymousreply 1108/30/2011

OP - I agree. I couldn't tell how old she was and only had to go by the fact she HAD to have been in her mid twenties in the mid seventies. If you just ran into her on the street not knowing who she was - you'd just think she's a beautiful woman.%0D %0D She's a wonder indeed.

by Anonymousreply 1208/30/2011

I'm disappointed that people are getting critical on this thread. Has Carter (unfortunately hilarious commercial linked above excepted) ever claimed to be anything more than a working actress with a very pretty face? I think she's quite likable.

by Anonymousreply 1308/30/2011

And Lynda loves the gays.

by Anonymousreply 1408/30/2011

Lynda Carter was quite upset when Debra Winger trashed her and her (Debra's) role on Wonder Woman.

She had always thought that they had gotten along.

by Anonymousreply 1508/30/2011

Debra Winger is a hateful shrew who shits all over her fellow actors, particularly if they happen to be female.%0D %0D She wound up with precisely the career she deserves.

by Anonymousreply 1608/30/2011

Speaking of the lovely and talented and much maligned Winger (who actually has talent unlike this Lynda person), I just ordered her cult film "Mike's Murder" off Amazon.

by Anonymousreply 1708/30/2011

in the 80's and early 90's in Hwood, Lynda, Pam Dawber and Lonnie Anderson were known as "Johnnie's girls", as in Carson. At every single restaurant in town where the suits and talent met, there was ALWAYS a table (the best one) ready should any of these ladies arrive. I always had a hunch Johnnie took them under his wing because he hated his wife Joanna and it was a knife in her back. There was nothing sexual about it, but he made it abundantly clear that his girls get the best table at all times, even with no res. and every single owner complied. Back then, you did not dare to piss of Carson.

by Anonymousreply 1808/30/2011

Carson was an overrated, bitter old alky-cokehead.

by Anonymousreply 1908/30/2011

I saw her sing at that amazing concert space in the Time Warner Center a few years ago. While her singing was ok, her patter was dreadful. Her face and body looked fantastic, but the one tell on her age was the hands (as it is for most people).

by Anonymousreply 2008/30/2011

Pam Dawber?!

by Anonymousreply 2108/30/2011

Pam Dauber is the name I gave my bingo dauber.

by Anonymousreply 2208/30/2011

One of my uncles dated her ages ago. %0D %0D She is really simple and sweet and I guess she still is now?!%0D %0D He said that she was hard working and not at all stuck up. He also said that she had a beautifully proportioned figure which worked well with her really tall frame.%0D %0D My uncle was a ladies man. I barely remember his saying something about how she was told to not be all that open about being half Mexican. She did not seem to enjoy being placed in that position at the time at all. %0D %0D That is all I got.

by Anonymousreply 2308/30/2011

R22, had I been drinking Diet Coke it would have been splayed across my screen!%0D %0D I love Lynda, really, but I always feel a little resentful when someone who was a major drug fiend (as she was during WW) gets off with looking terrific later in life. It seems so unfair!

by Anonymousreply 2408/30/2011

More about Lynda Carter's drug use, please!

by Anonymousreply 2508/30/2011

Lynda is a real beauty. I've heard her sing, and think that she is more talented as a singer than as an actress.

by Anonymousreply 2608/30/2011

I adored her as WW and as a celebrity back in the day. So much glamor, such limited talent, but leagues ahead of today's so called stars.

by Anonymousreply 2708/30/2011

We always made fun of the way she said Moisturewhip. It sounded weird.

by Anonymousreply 2808/30/2011

In DC, people consider her "well-preserved."

by Anonymousreply 2908/30/2011

A few years back, I was going through some (very) old school stuff. In a notebook from the 4th grade, I wrote something about how Pam Dawber was my favorite singer.

Did Pam Dawber sing?

by Anonymousreply 3008/30/2011

Margot Kidder hates Lynda Carter.

by Anonymousreply 3108/30/2011

r31, that was hilarious. The whole idea of "Margot Kidder Drag" kills me. What a world, what a world!

by Anonymousreply 3208/30/2011

I spent a summer at Ocean View, DE in the late 80s and would see Lynda Carter and her sister out jogging every morning on the ocean highway.

by Anonymousreply 3308/30/2011

I second your uncle R23. I was "working" with her about 20 years ago and she is just an Amazon with the most amazing figure.

Thin arms, huge breasts, beautiful hourglass shapely waist and bottom, great legs. And TALL. I'm 6'2" and she was my height or higher in heels.

However, her fashion sense borders on tacky and her husband is a dick.

by Anonymousreply 3408/30/2011

My partner sat next to her on a flight about 20 years ago and he said she was an anxious flyer, and as a result chatty and friendly. She was continualy offering him beef jerky, which she kept in her purse. %0D He would politely decline her offer.

by Anonymousreply 3508/30/2011

If you watch any third season WW, she is in a haze during many of her scenes. The schedule was punishing and she turned to coke and other drugs to keep up (and keep her weight in check.) There is also a major difference in her weight from the first season (baby fat) and later (heroin chic, though she wasn't on that particular drug!)

by Anonymousreply 3608/31/2011

Is there any other kind, R11?

by Anonymousreply 3708/31/2011

Lynda Carter probably would have been called fat now.

by Anonymousreply 3808/31/2011

R22, I love you.

by Anonymousreply 3908/31/2011

From everything I hear she's very nice so maybe it's true that when you're nice on the inside it shows on the outside.

by Anonymousreply 4008/31/2011

Lynda has also been in alcohol rehab. So, considering all she has been thru I think she looks great.

by Anonymousreply 4108/31/2011

Season 1 WW highlights

by Anonymousreply 4207/16/2012

I love her. I wanted to BE her when I was a kid.

Fucking Glamazon.

by Anonymousreply 4307/16/2012

She is still gorgeous. Many a gay man were inspired and in awe of her in their youth. I remember a co-worker of mine when I worked at Toys R Us said she once came in to buy her daughter a Barbie Power Wheel jeep.

by Anonymousreply 4407/16/2012

Lynda aged better than Debra Winger.

by Anonymousreply 4507/16/2012

Gorgeous woman. I am surprised that she had problems with drugs and alcohol. I thought only health nut freaks get to hold on to their beauty (with a little help of a high quality plastic surgeon) at her age.

by Anonymousreply 4607/16/2012

Lynda singing with Tom Jones. Very cruise shippy, for lack of better terminology.

by Anonymousreply 4707/16/2012

Thank you very much for the dress ...

by Anonymousreply 4807/16/2012

I've seen both Lynda and Jaclyn in recent years on SVU and the both looked great. And neither had tat overly -lifted look the OP mentioned. (Acting wise, both were surprisingly good given the lurid, unsubtle material.)

Smith looked unbelievable several years ago on Shear Genius, but she was also very well lit. Still, she was over 60, I think, at the time and certainly didn't look it.

by Anonymousreply 4907/16/2012

Lynda in 2011 singing Queen

by Anonymousreply 5007/16/2012

So she still sings and makes appearances, correct? I thought she had settled for just being a Washington Wife. She and her husband live in Potomac, MD, which is one of the wealthiest suburbs in the country.

by Anonymousreply 5107/16/2012

She took some time off to raise her family, but she's back.

by Anonymousreply 5207/16/2012

is her pussy shaved

by Anonymousreply 5307/16/2012

Who the fuck are you queens trash talking WONDER WOMAN???

by Anonymousreply 5407/16/2012

OP goes up to Miss Carter and says "You have aged well."

Miss Carter says, "Who gives a fuck what you think."

by Anonymousreply 5507/16/2012

Circus of the Stars. Lynda on a horse

by Anonymousreply 5607/16/2012

I find that imagining a feud between Lynda Carter and Margot Kidder is much more hilarious than that tired old Meryl/Glen crap.

Let's get that going.

by Anonymousreply 5707/16/2012

Lynda accepting an award at TV Land awards for best superhero. A little plump here, but stunning.

by Anonymousreply 5807/16/2012

Lynda in an episode of Starsky and Hutch

by Anonymousreply 5907/16/2012

This thread is taking me back to the trainwreck that was 1970's tv. Circus of the Stars?? I'd forgotten that ridiculous crap.

by Anonymousreply 6007/17/2012

Lynda covers Barry Manilow:

by Anonymousreply 6107/17/2012

R60, I think Circus of the Stars was more early 80s, but I loved the campy feel of it. There's ones of Brooke Shields too.

by Anonymousreply 6207/17/2012

[quote]She is still gorgeous. Many a gay man were inspired and in awe of her in their youth.

Don't forget us Lesbians on that end, dear. We liked her as well.

Heck. When I was baby Lesbian I loved Lynda Carter because she had a body to die for and popped up on t.v. doing corny stuff outside of "Wonder Woman."

by Anonymousreply 6307/17/2012

R63 - especially lesbians. A body to die for and she kicked ass.

by Anonymousreply 6407/17/2012

Yeah bitches R63 and R64, but we wanted to BE her!

by Anonymousreply 6507/17/2012

LOL, R65, I spent many after-school hours jumping off my building's fire escape ladder (only a few steps up, of course), pretending I was Lynda as WW. Who remembers when ABC introduced Lynda's Wonder Woman to us via the first Olivia Newton-John special, prior to the series premiere?

by Anonymousreply 6607/17/2012

Thanks R66

So, which WW seasons were set in the 70s and which were WW2?

by Anonymousreply 6707/17/2012

I liked the episode when Ricardo Montelbon(sp) whistled and created an eclipse over Washington DC...

by Anonymousreply 6807/17/2012

Weird. About 20 years ago, my partner at the time worked for a furrier in DC and said that Lynda Carter came in to buy a fur. He said she was really unattractive up close, wore way too much makeup, and was a complete bitch.

Maybe he was just overly critical and she was just having a bad day.

Ever since he told me that (he came home with the story), I always thought of her this way. He'd met other celebrities before and had never had anything really negative to say about them.

by Anonymousreply 6907/17/2012

R67 Season 1 on ABC was set in WWII. Seasons 2 & 3 on CBS were set in the 1970s.

R68 You're thinking of Tim O'Connor, the first Andros. The character was later played by Dack Rambo.

However, Ricardo Montalban was in the 1974 pilot for Wonder Woman, starring Cathy Lee Crosby. He played the villain Abner Smith.

by Anonymousreply 7007/17/2012

Thanks R70. I thought she looked better in the WW2 ones.

by Anonymousreply 7107/17/2012

Lynda's 1976 appearance on the Tonight show.

Orson Bean is also a guest, with a horrible toupee.

by Anonymousreply 7207/18/2012

She is one of many gorgeous older women.

by Anonymousreply 7307/18/2012

When I was six and my brother four we were walking with my mother and she asked us what we wanted to be when we grew up. Brother: An elephant! Me: Wonder Woman!

by Anonymousreply 7407/18/2012

her doppelganger

by Anonymousreply 7507/18/2012

No, just no, r75.

by Anonymousreply 7607/18/2012

Not quite R75

by Anonymousreply 7707/18/2012

Lynda singing Deed I Do.

by Anonymousreply 7807/18/2012

r76 and r77 are blind

by Anonymousreply 7907/18/2012

No they're not, R79. That chick looks NOTHING like Lynda Carter!

by Anonymousreply 8007/18/2012

by Anonymousreply 8107/19/2012

Wonder Woman - Amazon Hot Wax (from season 3)

by Anonymousreply 8212/20/2012

She married some old corrupt DC Jew-lawyer who can afford to buy the bitch the best plastic surgery.

by Anonymousreply 8312/20/2012

by Anonymousreply 8412/21/2012

An old story but one worth telling. The late female impersonator Charles Pierce once did a guest shot on "Wonder Woman". He was the subject of some fairly extreme behavior on the part of some of the crew, especially the stunt men. Carter found out about it, called a meeting and announced simply, "No one on this set will be belittled. We are all supposed to be professionals. Let's start acting like it." And that was that.

by Anonymousreply 8512/21/2012

She needs to release an album of high-quality dance music.

by Anonymousreply 8612/21/2012

I met Lynda Carter once and she was lovely. If she has had work done, her surgeon needs to win the Nobel Prize in medicine because you can't tell at all, and I saw her up-close. I think with her it must be more genetic than anything else. She could pass for early 40's and she's over 60!

I've never heard any drug stories about Lynda during her 'Wonder Woman' days but god knows in the late 70s she would have been in the minority if she never used coke. Lynda was an alcoholic for years, though, and got sober in the late 90s.

by Anonymousreply 8712/21/2012

She only has 8,400 followers on Twitter. There are spam bots with more followers than that.

by Anonymousreply 8812/21/2012

R87, she might well have used coke or other stimulants. She was battling her weight in the WW days.

by Anonymousreply 8912/21/2012

Does anyone remember what Debra Winger said about Lynda Carter? I know Lynda was asked about it in an interview a few years ago and she said something like "Debra has never had a nice thing to say about anyone, so why should I be any different?"

Lynda has always struck me as a class act. Today's skank parade of actresses could take a lesson from her.

by Anonymousreply 9012/21/2012

I met Lynda last year at a signing. She put her arms around me as the woman took our picture and then she looked at me with the most sincere look and thanked me for coming. I really felt like she was happy that I, someone she didn't know, was there. Really nice lady.

by Anonymousreply 9112/21/2012

Debra Winger was such a damn bitch!

Ck out how snarky she is when Letterman asks her about Lynda Carter.

By the way, Lynda's husband was found not guilty.

by Anonymousreply 9203/10/2013

Lynda's reply(on Larry King) to some of the snark.

by Anonymousreply 9303/10/2013

I loved that shitass TV movie she starred in I Posed for Playboy or whatever with that horsey bitch from LA Law and Josie Bisset. It has to be seen to believed, a real camp classic.

None of them come near to getting their tits out of course and at most are in raunchy underwear. But thanks to this pioneering movie the likes of Maxim were invented. Inspirational stuff.

by Anonymousreply 9403/10/2013

Next to Lynda, Debra looked short and dumpy.

by Anonymousreply 9503/10/2013

Actually, R95, next to Lynda, Debra just looked human. Good, but human.

by Anonymousreply 9603/10/2013

Damn, Lynda could rock those boots!

2 of my favorite ladies from the 70s....

along with Lindsay Wagner and Jaclyn Smith.

by Anonymousreply 9703/10/2013

Lynda's alcoholism was well known here in DC. DC always sucks up to Hollywood types for some reason. You'd think the people here who do waaaay more impressive and important things on a daily basis than a has-been TV star would have more dignity.

Lynda was very impressed with Bob Altman, her husband, that to her was the pinacle of a trophy husband. He ws only a few years older than she was and fairly attractive if you ike that type.

Altman came from a well known and respected DC family - his mom produced the local It's Academic. Not rich. But Altman got a huge boost as a young lawyer because he sucked up to and was mentored by the uber connected Clark Clifford - Mr Fix It lawyer himself and former advisor to many presidents.

The greed of the 80s and 90s got them both involved in more than lawyering and he got embroiled in the BCCI banking scandal. AFter the bank's collapse Altman had an infamous trial where Lynda sat behind him through most of it looking like she was on tranquilizers.

Greed always catches up in the end. Though he was acquitted of all charges at the trial, he had to agree to be banned from banking to settle other cases with the feds. So there went his respect and his money and pretty much his law practice. He had a LOT of DC friends so at least some of them must have stuck by him and helped him get work after. He's not a lawyer anymore.

I personally thought he was guilty as hell. She is beautiful and with a bit of help has stayed very attractive - her height helps with her weight. But her talent is minimal - she really cannot sing all that well. Her fans adulation is almost bizarre.

Listening to her butcher Freddie's Crazy Little Thing Called Love is cringeworthy. Like turning Bohemian Rhapsody into a Lawrence Welk polka number.

I remember an article that described her Potomac home's grand foyer adorned with trophy cases in tribute to her TV, stage and beauty contest career. Tacky tacky tacky.

by Anonymousreply 9803/10/2013

Link not working R97

by Anonymousreply 9903/10/2013

Lynda is a known bisexual but always monogamous with whomever she is with. She is a very loyal half-latina.

by Anonymousreply 10003/10/2013

Damn, I guess if it has a watermark, it can't be used.

Pic is from the 70s and shows Lynda and Chris Evert at a muscular dystrophy fundraiser. They're sitting on a couch and Lynda has a little girl in her arms.

by Anonymousreply 10103/10/2013

I remember that the media thought the jury was way too enamored with Lynda and wondered out loud if that had anything to do with the not guilty verdict.

by Anonymousreply 10203/10/2013

[post by racist shit-stain #3 removed.]

by Anonymousreply 10303/10/2013

Oh she did not do At Last did she?

by Anonymousreply 10403/10/2013

Just listen to the samples at the link R104 posted. She is a terrible singer. Who is humoring her with these albums?

by Anonymousreply 10503/10/2013

She is a mediocre talent it's true. Her singing is just kind of flat but I give it to her for at least singing without all the effects. She is a true beauty and what a body. Genetic lottery winner no doubt.

I love this ad of her emerging from a pool. Perfections!

by Anonymousreply 10603/12/2013

R106 perfection.

by Anonymousreply 10703/12/2013

Hard to beat her body in a bikini in the 6th pic down.

by Anonymousreply 10803/12/2013

I thought she looked fabulous in the picture above that one.

by Anonymousreply 10903/12/2013

By all accounts, Lynda was sweet and happy to be in a popular show.

The reports of difficulies, as with Fawcett and Sommers, came from managers encouraging demanding Diva behavior. "You're the star! Threaten to quit!" You deserve more money!"

Fawcett quit on her contract (and was successfully sued) and Sommers got fired. Their characters were replaced

Lynda was smart. You can't easily replace Wonder Woman, especially as she was so identified with the role.

by Anonymousreply 11003/12/2013

Linda is performing this weekend at the Catalina Jazz Club in Hollywood.

Also has shows coming up in New York City and Washington, DC.

by Anonymousreply 11103/13/2013

She looks a little skinny in that bikini pic of R108

by Anonymousreply 11203/13/2013

Hard to lose with Wonder Woman on your side...

2:57 and 9:35 marks

Why she even gives Evert's mom a smooch.

Oh, Jimmy Connors looked dreadful with that beard(7:12). Nasty!

by Anonymousreply 11303/16/2013

Wow Lynda looked gorgeous watching tennis.

by Anonymousreply 11403/16/2013

She looks like my third grade Language Arts teacher that everybody said was a witch.

by Anonymousreply 11503/16/2013

Yummy! Keep em coming.

Bobby Riggs is so disgusting. For a minute, I thought that was Woody Allen.

by Anonymousreply 11603/16/2013

Lynda was much more gorgeous than the blondes of that era everyone made a fuss over.

by Anonymousreply 11703/16/2013

Diana turning into WW

by Anonymousreply 11803/16/2013

New pics. Lynda at 61.

by Anonymousreply 11904/23/2013

She is fabulous. That is how it's done. If she's had plastic surgery, I'm sure she has, it's subtle you can't even tell.

Heard her on Frank DeCaro show. She is soo nice, I believe it's genuine but she is pretty boring. Super sweet though.

by Anonymousreply 12004/25/2013

If the WW producers had been smart, they'd of brought on Julie Newmar to play the Cheetah.

Can you imagine those two statuesque divas going at it?

by Anonymousreply 12104/25/2013

[quote]they'd of

Oh, dear.

by Anonymousreply 12204/25/2013

Holy Shit....

Lynda looks great.

by Anonymousreply 12304/25/2013

R9 I just watched that commercial...I remember it from when I was in junior high, an impressionable young girl...watching it made me really nostalgic and sad for when things were so much simpler...I mean I LOVED Wonder Woman but it was a pretty bad show, and that commercial was pretty cheesy...yet back then it fit right in to what was commonplace on television.

And R17 can I please come over on a chilly Friday night, we'll make some popcorn, keep warm under Gramma's crocheted brown, orange and yellow afghan blanket, drink Pepsi made with real sugar and try out each other's Bonne Bell lipsmacker flavors?

by Anonymousreply 12404/25/2013

OK here's my non-qualified opinion of Linda's age-defying beauty, based on my obsession with plastic surgery procedures (I am preparing for some work in the next 2 years and I have studied a ridiculous amount of photos of before and afters, etc)...

I'd bet she had upper and lower eyelid lift, definitely botox, lipo under her chin, probably a laser skin resurfacing or chemical peel (Several over the years), probably a nonsmoker, light drinker, healthy eater (didn't yo yo diet), works out regularly but not a runner (they get that gaunt, flabby runner sag face). My bet is swimming and yoga.

by Anonymousreply 12504/25/2013

R125 - It's well known that Lynda hit the bottle for a long time.

by Anonymousreply 12604/25/2013

She looked pretty good on Anderson Cooper after all these years. She's still a wonder.

by Anonymousreply 12704/25/2013

R126 Hmmm I'll have to dig around for pictures of her pre- and post-sobriety....she definitely does not look like she drinks heavily now...

by Anonymousreply 12804/25/2013

Holy SHIT I just searched a bunch of images of her...she DEFINITELY had work done...definitely a face lift and lipo, fillers too...but whoever did the work was AMAZING...definitely upper and lower eye job too.

by Anonymousreply 12904/25/2013

R128 - She doesn't drink heavily now, but she did for a long period of time & she always looked amazing.

by Anonymousreply 13004/25/2013

There was a rumor in the 90's that she got fucked up and dressed up in her Wonder Woman costume. I used to work with people who lived in her town, Potomac, MD. I didn't believe it but she was kind of a joke and everyone had a laugh at her expense. It's good to see her back on her feet looking fucking amazing and singing cuz she doesn't really give a shit. She loves the gays too as we know.

by Anonymousreply 13104/25/2013

How did Debra even get cast as Wonder Girl? She's supposed to be an Amazon like her sister... Debra looks like a midget next to Lynda.

by Anonymousreply 13204/25/2013

Does anyone else thing Lynda and Melissa Sue Anderson have very similar faces?

by Anonymousreply 13304/25/2013

I always loved it when she changed into her swimming outfit.

by Anonymousreply 13404/25/2013

No R133

by Anonymousreply 13504/25/2013

She was rowing on the Potomac River when she found a dead body! It would have been so cool if she had spun and put on her blue body suit, but no...she had to call for help.

The "schluuuuurp" heard 'round the globe.

by Anonymousreply 14008/23/2013

Lynda on the Muppets - starts at about 7:00

by Anonymousreply 14108/24/2013

From the WW pilot.

by Anonymousreply 14208/24/2013

"NBC and The CW weren’t able to get their Wonder Woman projects off the ground, but CBS’ Two and a Half Men is bringing the original warrior princess back to primetime. The hit comedy has booked actress Lynda Carter to play “a version of herself” in the upcoming 11th season.

The set-up: Alan (Jon Cryer) has a massive Carter crush going back to her days as an actress on the original Wonder Woman series (1975-79). He gets to meet her in person and, well, you’ll have to tune in to see what happens next. Men is getting an overhaul this fall as Amber Tamblyn joins the show as Charlie’s lesbian daughter, who moves in with Alan and Walden (Ashton Kutcher). The show returns Sept. 26 at 9:30 p.m."

by Anonymousreply 14308/27/2013

I never watch that shit show, but I'll tune in for Lynda Carter.

by Anonymousreply 14408/27/2013

R144 - Ditto.

by Anonymousreply 14508/27/2013

What do we think of Lynda's son?

by Anonymousreply 14608/27/2013

I was watching WW, and noticed Lynda's nose has a slight curve at the end, I think it made her look even more beautiful than it had not been there. Natural or not?

I had also forgotten how brilliant Leachman was as the queen.

by Anonymousreply 14708/29/2013

Hot on LC son But not nearly as hot as Lindsay Wagners HOT sons Anyone hve photos of them

Thank you in advance

by Anonymousreply 14808/29/2013

Here's a great picture!

by Anonymousreply 14908/30/2013

DL Math:

Wonder Woman > Bionic Woman

by Anonymousreply 15008/30/2013

R150, yes, but that is an impossible standard.

by Anonymousreply 15108/30/2013

R147. Lynda is all natural.

Judging from the rhinoplasties I've seen (celebrity and otherwise)only genetics can create a perfect retrousse nose like that.

by Anonymousreply 15208/30/2013

In Dukes of Hazzard

by Anonymousreply 15308/30/2013

Picture of family.

by Anonymousreply 15408/30/2013

What do we know about the son?

by Anonymousreply 15508/30/2013

She's a big drunk.

by Anonymousreply 15608/30/2013

My niece and her husband work for the company that is owned by Lynda and her husband...they produce computer games....Skyrim and the Elder Scrolls or something is the only name I can remember.

My niece says that Lynda and her husband are very nice and the company is very generous with all their employees.

For the celebration of their latest game release, everyone was taken to LA. They stayed at a fancy hotel and had a concert by a famous rock bank....can't remember the name.

by Anonymousreply 15708/30/2013

R156 - Was.

by Anonymousreply 15808/30/2013

by Anonymousreply 15908/30/2013

Does anyone know when this was?

by Anonymousreply 16008/30/2013

When she was a Miss America/World/Universe/Whatever finalist.

by Anonymousreply 16108/30/2013

She was even more voluptuous there than she was on WW.

by Anonymousreply 16208/30/2013

Lynda in the 1972 Miss World swimsuit competition.

She would undoubtedly would be called "fat" today.

by Anonymousreply 16308/30/2013

I'm an unequivocal 6 on the Kinsey continuum..never been with a woman, never thought of being with a woman, never WANT to be with a woman but I could stare at Lynda's azz in this scene for days.

by Anonymousreply 16408/30/2013

Behind-the-scenes pic on the set of Wonder Woman. Lynda with a fur coat draped over her costume and a CIGGIE in her hand!

I hope she eventually quit smoking.

by Anonymousreply 16508/30/2013

Has anyone written a tell all about Lynda or WW?

by Anonymousreply 16608/30/2013

Worst. Tipper. Ever.

by Anonymousreply 16708/30/2013

Me too r164. I'm also a Kinsey 6/100% gay, yet Lynda had the most beautiful set of boobs I've ever seen. I couldn't stop staring at them.

by Anonymousreply 16808/30/2013

Rock BAND - I meant....rock BAND.

Although your correction made me laugh.

by Anonymousreply 16909/06/2013

Her boobs were bullet proof.

by Anonymousreply 17009/06/2013

The picture of Lynda in the fur with the ciggy is fucking amazing.

by Anonymousreply 17109/06/2013

Anyone had the son?

by Anonymousreply 17209/06/2013

[quote] Worst. Tipper. Ever.

I beg to differ.

by Anonymousreply 17309/06/2013

Her yearbook picture.

by Anonymousreply 17409/06/2013

Gorgeous in the yearbook pic too.

by Anonymousreply 17509/06/2013

On the Bob Hope show

by Anonymousreply 17609/07/2013

Whoever said she has won the "genetic lottery" up thread--so true. I'm sure she has had some subtle work but she still looks amazing.

Some of those pics are just unbelievable; she was just incredibly beautiful back in the day. None of the other TV beauties from her era have held up as well. I guess cray cray Jaclyn Smith looks pretty good for 67.

by Anonymousreply 17709/07/2013

Cheryl Ladd has held up as well.

by Anonymousreply 17809/07/2013

She could totally tie me up and force me to tell the truth.

by Anonymousreply 17909/07/2013

Wonder Woman and Wonder Girl. Debra looks so tiny next to Lynda.

by Anonymousreply 18009/11/2013

Winger is such a bitch when she talks about the show and Lynda.

by Anonymousreply 18109/11/2013

Where does Debra talk about the show?

by Anonymousreply 18209/11/2013

LC as WW - possibly the only character every gayby AND lezzie child of the '70s adored. Below is the best mix I've ever found of the show.

by Anonymousreply 18309/11/2013

Why do you say "cray cray Jaclyn Smith"? I worked at Bonwit Teller in Bev Hills in the mid '70s and saw quite a few stars there. Cher was homely as sin; Joan Collins very pretty but terrible posture; Mary Tyler Moore in a red denim pants suit (!), was very very skinny; and Jaclyn Smith was a real peaches and cream complexioned beauty; she had stand-out looks in any crowd. I did not notice any craziness, but a lot of craziness is not particularly noticeable.

by Anonymousreply 18409/11/2013

R183 - Thank you. That's an excellent compilation.

by Anonymousreply 18509/11/2013

Here's one where's she's particularly cunty. I've seen a couple. This was just easiest to find. Winger can't seem to let go of it.

by Anonymousreply 18609/12/2013

R186 - She seems really bitter.

by Anonymousreply 18709/12/2013

La panocha de Debra apesta.

by Anonymousreply 18809/12/2013

Anybody remember the TV movie she did in 1982, Hotline? That's a good one. It's not available to watch on the internet, sadly. It should totally be up in full on YouTube. I may have to shell out $15 for a DVD-R of it.

My mom watched it either when it was first broadcast or a re-run, and she let me watch it with her. I was a very, very young boy. Scared the hell out of me.

by Anonymousreply 18909/12/2013

I will have to look for clips R189

by Anonymousreply 19009/12/2013

Here you go, R189. It's in several parts and the quality sucks, but it's free to watch.

by Anonymousreply 19109/12/2013

The quality is dreadful, yes. The biggest problem is that part of the movie is missing. I forget which "part" it is, but when I clicked through that set of videos not quite a year ago, I couldn't find part of the movie.

There's a DVD-R that's available online from a private seller; I reckon the video comes from the VHS tape which was available commercially.

by Anonymousreply 19209/12/2013

Thanks R191

by Anonymousreply 19309/12/2013

I posted that about cray cray Jaclyn. I am only basing that on this DL thread, which was hilarious.

by Anonymousreply 19409/12/2013

[quote]Anybody remember the TV movie she did in 1982, Hotline?

I think I created a thread about it here some time ago. It used to be fully on Youtube but they've since taken it down. Monte Markham was creepy as hell in it.

Thanks, R191.

by Anonymousreply 19509/12/2013

Lynda on The Muppets (1980). Lynda's part starts around 5:58

by Anonymousreply 19606/29/2014

Lol, R74. I'm lesbian, but you are reminding me that I also had the plastic Wonder Woman halloween costume when I was six! I think the year before I had been Fred Flintstone. lol

by Anonymousreply 19706/29/2014

Lynda Carter is well-preserved.

by Anonymousreply 19806/29/2014

Biography from Bio channel. 42 minutes.

by Anonymousreply 19906/29/2014

She is realistic about where her 'talents' lay.

From the above documentary, regarding the "Miss World-USA" pageant win:

"I knew exactly what they wanted. It was a no-brainer. There was no talent. It was all tits and ass."

by Anonymousreply 20006/29/2014

I like Lynda's small, kissable lips. In this era of rubberized, prolapsed, greazy liver lips, Lynda's lips are exotic, fresh.

by Anonymousreply 20106/29/2014

R200 - she had lots of T and A then.

by Anonymousreply 20206/29/2014

The one and only Wonder Woman

by Anonymousreply 20307/26/2014

any of you gals remember Partners in Crime, Lynda's comedy-drama with Loni Anderson and Eileen Heckart?

A great show, NBC buried it on Sat. nights and it only ran one season.

It also had great theme music.

I wonder if those old trollettes from 90210 copied this format for their ABC Family crapfest?

by Anonymousreply 20407/26/2014

[all posts by tedious, racist idiot removed.]

by Anonymousreply 20507/26/2014

R204 - Yes, it was a Johnny Carsons production.

by Anonymousreply 20607/26/2014

Wasn't it shot on location in San Francisco. And I think the lived in a beautiful mansion. Some cool photography of the city, made it actually look interesting (because I don't think it really is!)

by Anonymousreply 20707/26/2014

She have very good genes like Christy and Cindy and takes care of herself.

by Anonymousreply 20807/26/2014

I think Partners in Crime was shot in SF.

by Anonymousreply 20907/26/2014

Olivia Newton John has Lynda (as WW) on her show.

by Anonymousreply 21008/23/2014

Did they ever do a DVD of Partners in Crime?

by Anonymousreply 21108/23/2014

Really, LC as WW is one of the best pieces of casting ever.

I'd love to see her Rita Hayworth movie again.

by Anonymousreply 21408/23/2014

Lynda is not impressed with the new Wonder Woman.

by Anonymousreply 21509/23/2014

For those who miss the raven-haired, blue-eyed actress Lynda Carter spin out of her military uniform and into her flashy costume of gold, red, blue and white on "Wonder Woman," you're in for a treat.

DC Entertainment announced at the "DC Digital: Download This" panel over the weekend at New York Comic Con that it will launch "Wonder Woman '77" -- a new digital comic series based on the popular '70s TV show starring Carter.

The digital comic will be written by Marc Andreyko, with covers from artist Nicola Scott. Additional artists working on the project have yet to be announced.

"Wonder Woman '77" will debut digitally with six weekly chapters in December 2014, which will then be published in two print issues to be released early in 2015. The series continues in the spring and will appear periodically throughout 2015.

In addition to "Wonder Woman '77," DC is also releasing two other digital comic series: "Mortal Kombat X" and "Fables: The Wolf."

by Anonymousreply 21610/15/2014

I agree...I think the more delicate, kittenish lips of numerous actresses such as Lynda, Ann-Margret, Kim Novak,Vivien Leigh,Nicole Kidman(before she ruined them)et al are MUCH more attractive than the kind you mentioned.

by Anonymousreply 21710/15/2014

Did anyone watch Hawkeye with Lee Horseley and Lynda?

by Anonymousreply 21811/21/2014

by Anonymousreply 21911/22/2014

Tonight on Wonder Woman on Me TV, they had an episode called Amazon Hot Wax featuring Rick Springfield and Judge Reinholt (in his first TV role ever). At the end of the episode Lynda sang a song called "Toto (Didn't It Feel Like Paradise)" which apparently was on an album Lynda released in the late 70s.

by Anonymousreply 22011/22/2014

Lynda singing "Toto" live on her inaugural CBS television special.

by Anonymousreply 22111/23/2014

The last film footage of Lynda in the iconic costume...from her 1st CBS T.V. special in 1980.

I just wish they could have eked out a 4th season.

by Anonymousreply 22211/23/2014

Here's Stay with Me Tonight.

by Anonymousreply 22311/23/2014

I find that the aging tv stars who mostly shrugged and were grateful to be in on the joke are the ones that did the best with it - Adam West and Linda Carter are two great examples. Ones who took it all way too seriously and acted like they were owed something are the ones that just seem cheap and ugly about it: Sommers, Bonaduce, Barry Walters.

by Anonymousreply 22411/23/2014

Lynda never stopped working after WW.

by Anonymousreply 22511/23/2014

Opening of her first special. Nice way to bring up and then dismiss the WW image.

by Anonymousreply 22611/23/2014

I loved Wonder Woman when I was a kid and I thought Lynda Carter was, and still is, beautiful.

The interesting thing is that today I can look at her photos from back in the day and I can clearly see that she has a latin heritiage. Yet, in my youth I had no such knowledge. I just thought she was a beautiful woman with dark hair and blue eyes. I grew up in a very, VERY small southern town.

I remember reading something about her after I'd grown up and the article mentioned that she was latin and I thought, "What?? No she isn't." Then I looked at an old photograhp and realized I was wrong.

by Anonymousreply 22711/23/2014

by Anonymousreply 22811/23/2014

I suspect Lynda has a fair bit of Native American heritage as well.

by Anonymousreply 22911/23/2014

Lynda doing a medley of 30s movie songs.

by Anonymousreply 23011/26/2014

Lynda Carter and Don Rickles in a commercial together.

by Anonymousreply 23112/04/2014

Who were Lynda Carter's female lovers back in the days of Wonder Woman?

by Anonymousreply 23212/05/2014

I remember reading in Tiger Beat or Teen Beat an article about Lynda sending money to her cousins in Mexico. It had never dawned on me that she herself was Mexican. I just thought, wow, her cousins live in Mexico, how cool!

That was also the time I learned that Fonzie is Jewish, from an article in People about his wedding. I was like, what is that little hat he's wearing?

by Anonymousreply 23312/05/2014

I was watching the pilot of the Hawkeye series Lynda did in the 90s. Lynda played the wife of an obnoxious rich guy who went west to the wilderness.

by Anonymousreply 23401/27/2015

Lynda is 1/2 Mexican, on her mother's side.

by Anonymousreply 23501/27/2015

Probably explains her cheekbones R235

by Anonymousreply 23601/27/2015

Family Blessings 1999 film

by Anonymousreply 23701/28/2015

Have we talked about Daddy? Lynda is ravishing in it.

by Anonymousreply 23805/22/2015

Has anyone seen her live?

by Anonymousreply 23905/22/2015

Maybe I've overlooked, but another poster had the greatest pic of Lynda in full WW costume...but she was between takes with a fur coat around her shoulders, smoking a cig.

It was pretty funny.

by Anonymousreply 24007/16/2015

Lynda in WW costume with fur coat and ciggie.
