No, not gay. He was a typical Hollywood jerk; dumped his wife for a much younger blonde who wasn't even good looking. I don't know about his show being "feh". I thought it was sentimental slop, designed to tug (and tug and tug and tug) at the heartstrings of its viewers. It was also morbid, full of deaths and humiliations and hardships for its characters. Landon must have had a lot of personal demons to create a show like that.

When I google Chris Landon nude, the photos that come up (black and white beach shots of a guy with a nice ass) are some model that goes by the same name.

The pics that were once available were more in the vein of 'guys with iphones' shots (naked body shots in a mirror) and I think the accompanying story was that he took them for his boyfriend. Somehow after they broke up, the pics got online.

I don't recall a lot of discussion about Karen "Ma" Grassle in any of the books. I think it was Allison Arngrim who mentioned an incident where Grassle stormed off the set after Landon made a comment or gave her some direction that set her off, but she didn't know the details of the fight. Since the child actors all had limited hours on the set they were probably mostly unaware of any drama that went on during their off time.

Bottom line, I didn't get the impression Ma was a motherly figure for any of the child actresses.

You should not believe everything you (want) to believe. As a child, I found Michael Landon's role on Little House on the Prairie to be most heartwarming, and uplifting. Even as an adult, I enjoy watching the program, because of the talented actors on the show, and especially, Michael Landon. He was talented with his writing, directing and acting skills, and especially convincing! All the drama on the show is emphasizing how difficult those times were. Landon, with his many talents, expressed how difficult the times were, very well!!! They do not make shows that heartwarming, and full of family love, anymore. LLOTP is far better than most of the programming today. I've done research on whether or not Michael Landon was gay, and it appears not, but his son was. As far as, "The Loneliest Runner," it seems that Michael Landon have a difficult childhood, and I can relate, since I too was a bedwetter. They often have biographies about hard times celebrities had as kids. God bless him, he rose above!! He was well liked by the other cast members of LHOTP, and had a great sense of humor, I was watching some video clips. Some episodes of LHOTP were also funny.
