I've listened to her for more than 40 or more years.

This one hits me. She's been a comforting voice for decades and someone i genuinely miss hearing on a regular basis. I wonder if her son Josh needs comforting....

She was on NPR when it was great. I loved listening to her. RIP Susan.

This afternoon on All Things Considered, that annoying hack Ailsa Chang did one of her phony “all choked up” moments when discussing Stamberg and it ruined an otherwise excellent tribute.

How the fuck does Ailsa Chang keep her job? She’s so full of shit. So unprofessional.

This takes me back. I haven’t really listened to NPR for the better part of a decade, but voices like Susan Stamberg’s were once part of my daily routine. RIP.

I always found her program informative and Susan the epitome of high journalistic standard. RIP Susan, you will be missed.

From the days when the women on NPR sounded like women, not little girls.

I have always LOVED hearing you pronounce your name, Sylvia.
