Can you dance?

Or if we're talking past, could you dance, back in the day?

I was a great dancer back in the 60s & 70s. I could do it all. Everything from the rock & roll dances back then to the Samba, the Cha-Cha, and the Waltz. Then I got way too busy with work and my dancing days dwindled down until I just gave it up.

I’m a 90s white guy dancer. My nieces and nephews have gotten married over the past few years and these kids (late 20s) have moves!

I could slow dance, but only to Freebird or Stairway to Heaven.

My late bf was an incredible dancer! Could dance like Travolta and twice as sexy, with a great bulge and ass in tight jeans! Which sucked for me because I cannot dance, wooden and disjointed like Pinocchio.

Great dancer who enjoyed the clubs of NyC in the 1990s - which were music and dance focused (well..and drugs). You could dance alone - which is how I picked up most of my one night stands - and long term partner. Amazing how it’s fallen away. Still possible - but likely the minority instead of the majority. It’s seemed like such a critical part of gay life 1960s-1990s. The freedom of gay expression. Seems like a soulfulness that has disappeared.

I used to love to dance. Still do but arthritis in my knees make it something I can only do for a short time, then I pay the price afterwards. I look at pics of myself from the 80s-90s-2000;s and thats why I think I was thinner then.

I am (maybe "was" now) a good dancer. I started as a musician as a kid so I picked up the rhythm and beat aspects of body movement pretty easily. Did years of ballet and tap. Never danced professionally but my skill did put me in close proximity to a lot of talented professionals, some of whom actually became quite famous. Ballet really augmented my ability to make movements have that extra beautiful look. I don't dance much anymore, although if I am ever in a club or bar that allows it, I can bust out some of my old moves. Ballet is basically a thing of the past now which makes me sad. I miss dance so much. For me, there's nothing more exciting than making my body move beautifully. It really does seem to be something of a lost art. I can get into some of the modern dance styles, but a lot of this hurky-jerky choreography in music videos just looks clunky and disjointed to me. I remember watching one of Troy Sivan's videos and just thinking how ugly the dancing looked overall.

Not really. I can white person dance. Not as bad as Elaine. I try to blend in.
