Jim Carrey in talks to lead “The Jetsons” live action movie

Jim Carrey is 63. He cannot play George Jetson.

Who will play Jane, his wife?

None of them have been cast yet r2.

Maybe he's playing Rosie.

It will probably be goofy and terrible, with plastic-looking visual effects.

It’ll be a mess. Hollywood can’t get anything right when it comes to nostalgia features. The Jetsons, like The Flintstones, is heavily influenced by the 1960s. They’ll dump that factor for The Jetsons in-name-only.

Kim Kardashian is Jane Jetson. Sydney Sweeney is Judy Jetson. Chris Pratt is Astro.

That sounds awful and irritating.

I think there's potential to make this halfway decent viewing.

And if they have stupid Sydney Sweeney, I hope he upstages her at every point and leaves her looking like the clueless, slack-eyed bimbo she is.

Sydney Sweeney isn’t rumored for this. No one is but Carrey. They probably wanna cast the lead first and then cast everyone else around him.

I agree that Carrey is too old to play George. Maybe he can play Mr. Spacely and wear a bald cap and fat suit.

Nobody fucking asked for this.

Why live action? Animation works fine for The Jetsons.

He's also being considered for Freddie Kruger which is a much more appropriate role for him at his age.

This just shows Hollywood still wants him working. They offer him good roles. It’s him who never takes it. He agreed to Sonic because he was paid well. He didn’t wanna come back for the third movie but they got him back by throwing money at him.

Hollywood never turned their back on Carrey, he turned his back on them.

That has "FLOP" written all over it.
