I’ll start. Yeah or Nay? 1957 Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date, stainless steel with black sun-bleached dial, paired with a loose tennis bracelet set with large square-cut moissanites in rhodium-plated silver, on a hairy arm.
It's a lovely watch OP. Do you have a pic of the bracelet?

Hey thanks. That is the model, not my watch which is identical but more sun burnt. I got it years ago, unrestored and told them not to touch the dial. Tennis bracelet to come, from a local middle-class jewellery shop.

I don't think you should have such a eye-catching watch AND a bracelet. That's a bit fem for my taste. Pick one or the other, OP.

Proprerly cared for, a Rolex can last generations. I think it looks best to stand alone.

Do you think the watch is eye-catching? It's very simple. And very old now.

In LA, it's being discouraged to wear jewelry in public. It's a shame but thieves, on every corner, are looking for their next victim.

A vintage Rolex is very eye-catching, r5. It's not a $20 Casio.

How did you get on with getting a pic of the bracelet OP? We really can't properly judge until we see it.

My Rolex Sea Dweller is the only jewellery that I own. I bought it for £2000 second hand in 2000, it was two years old. Sadly I don’t wear it so much these days as it’s just so conspicuous and I’m afraid of getting attacked for it.
