Are they the same as Scooter Pies?

R2, I’ve never had a Scooter Pie, but apparently they were very similar.

I'm a fat whore and love my junk food, but MoonPies are just dry and tasteless to me.

Never liked them, dry as a bone and makes me gag. When I check into my hotel in Nashville they always leave them in my room with a couple of water bottles. I never touch them and leave them behind. They are some kind of local delicacy there. The airport has a whole store dedicated to them. Go figure.

Dry as dust but not as tasty.

If I'm not mistaken, the moon pies we got when we were kids in the 60's were two round slices of chocolate cake with a white marshmallow cream center. A cake sandwich. And I loved the chocolate cake but I hated the marshmallow filling. it was sticky and tasteless. I preferred Hostess chocolate cupcakes.

I spend my weekly allowance on Moon Pies and baseball cards for the spokes of my bike!

I always thought they were too bland and should have been way more flavorful.

Momma made us moonpies and she put buttercream icing for the filling.

They are not pies, they are cookies. The ones with marshmallow filling are disgusting. Buttercream filling would be fantastic.
