I need a new couch. -where do I go?

Maybe 60 inches across.

Please help me, DL. What’s a good furniture company that is not overpriced?

I like Room and Board.

I got the cheapest sofa at Pottery Barn. It's stylish, well built and comfortable.

Ethan Allen. Made in the USA, not as expensive as everyone thinks…weighs a ton, will last decades. I replaced my 15 year old Crate. & Barrel couch two years ago with one last year. No comparison between the two.

Isn’t 60” more of a loveseat?

by Anonymousreply 9October 9, 2025 12:53 PM

Ethan Allen!!! Yes. Quality.

Now you can also check out Perigold and Wayfair if you want. Perigold is better than Wayfair as far as quality and design. Also more expensive. But worth looking through it.

If you spend 90% of your time in the house sitting on the couch, it’s worth spending some $. Just take care of the upholstery. Also - go somewhere where you can try it out, don’t buy online without sitting on it.

Warning: don’t buy Performance Upholstery, it’s like sandpaper.

JD Vance would know

If you have an Arhaus, in your locale, they're pricey but excellent quality. So is Pottery Barn.
