Do you trust AI?

It has some very useful applications but I don't think it's ever going to be the big artificial brain that takes over the world.

I’ve found GenAI very helpful for drafting messages at work. It provides a starting place and gets my mind focused. Sometimes I use it as a thought partner when I need to think something through — anything from gardening to annoying social situations. I work remotely and don’t have the option of turning to an office mate to say, “hey, what do you think of this…”

It's great for making long emails clear and concise. Other than that, I have little use for it and have seen a lot of garbage.

It's still at the stage of lurking in the shadows. But one day it could be like an Oppenheimer invention.

Well most of us are of an age where we can enjoy the fun part of it all because we’ll most likely be dead before it turns on humanity.
