Have any of you Atlanta queens eaten here?
Many times. It’s classic Southern cooking.

The quality of the food has declined significantly over the past 5 years. As for Southern fare in Atlanta, OK Cafe is much better.

Definitely. They serve classic Southern food. It's fun once every ten years or so.

The first time you visit, they give you a little cup of pot likker. Very tasty!

The roof collapsed during a severe rainstorm in March 2024, but I think they rebuilt it. I had reservations there during a conference in late March of 2024, but they were cancelled because of the closing of the restaurant because of the damage.

I've been eating at MM's my entire life (I'm 72). I remember when it was just a small eatery (that first section), and then they gradually purchased all the other connected sections and enlarged. My late mother was close friends with Margaret Lupo the owner who grew the restaurant from its humble beginnings. MM's and The Colonnade on Cheshire Bridge are still my two favorite meat & 3's in town.
The quality of the food has not changed over the years, only the prices have. During my working years MMs was pretty much a 3 times a week visit for lunch, sometimes more.
