R2, Malibu was relatively spared, it was Pacific Palisades that had the huge destruction. And yes, some people were overjoyed. But the Palisades residents who are still in Southern California want to rebuild. You have to be a Westside resident to understand that many Palisades residents have a weird mindset and are kind of a cult. They think anything E of the 405 is ghetto. On the other hand, Altadena is being bought up by companies and will never return to what it was.
