This crowd-funded independent horror film is releasing later this month by Neon. It was written and directed by Chris Stuckmann, who is mostly known as a film reviewer on YouTube. It was apparently completed 1-2 years ago, but was slightly retooled with some input from Mike Flanagan. There is a lot of hype behind it which strikes me as a bit gimmicky, but I am cautiously optimistic. The reviews seem to be mixed. It does have a few notable actors, including Brendan Sexton III, Michael Beach, and Keith David.
I've watched Chris's film reviews on occasion. He seems like a nice guy. He was raised in the Jehovah's Witnesses cult and was separated from his sister for decades when they excommunicated her. He's also apparently "pansexual" but has been married to a woman for over a decade now and has two kids (aka he enjoys cock on the side).

I think his pansexuality was part of what broke down between his former friend and youtuber John Flickinger. They were pretty close and filmed many videos together.
