He played a crooked state senator on The Sopranos and in that beatdown scene (where Tony whips him with a belt) David Chase wanted him to be naked, which he refused and he wasn't invited back to the show. Someone on reddit posited that Chase has a humiliation thing and then mentioned making the child actor who played Vito's kid take a dump in the shower.
