Moonlighting.
I was in my twenties in the 80s and still never watched it.

I saw it for the first time this year OP.
Cybil is actually very likeable but Bruce Willis is so obnoxious in the first season that I am amazed he had a movie career. He couldn’t really act.

I watch Moonlighting regularly in the 1980s.
Two and a Half Men or Everybody Loves Raymond, I had never watch a complete episode.
Golden Girls, also, never watched it. I never understood the appeal.

Yes, add West Wing and Yellowstone to my "haven't watched" list as well.
Also Beverly Hills 90210, Melrose Place, Desperate Housewives, any XX Idol/XX's Got Talent type show and ANY Kardashian or Real Housewives to my "deficient" television library as well.
No plans to remedy any of the above any time in the future.

I took a pass on Mad Men and Breaking Bad. Also, the one episode of A Game of Thrones I tuned in for had the Red Wedding, which neatly did away with any motivation for continued viewing as all the characters I was beginning to like were killed off.
I've never seen Annie Hall, but I'm holding out for a revival showing on an actual cinema screen.

Most of the major ones. Roseanne, Friends, Mad Men, Sopranos, Breaking Bad, Downton Abbey. I would have missed Seinfeld and Game of Thrones but a friend saw to it that I watched the first season of each.
The only recent series I really loved were the first season of Loki and first two of What We Do In The Shadows.

Based on those two, I would recommend watching Agatha All Along as it will probably suit your taste quite well, and it's a blast.

R13 op said popular or classic. Only HIMYM, Greys, and Euphoria fit this bill. The rest were successful niche shows. Americans is though top 10 though one of the greatest shows of all time.

Miami Vice, which is sad because I would have loved to be raped by the two leads.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | October 7, 2025 7:55 PM |
Sopranos, Ted Lasso and Grey's Anatomy for me. In the movie category, I never got into Lord of the Rings or those Twilight films.
