I think Madonna is capable of this, because she is cold as a lizard. However, it's not unreasonable to expect your children to figure out how to make their own way in life, either.

I remember reading that Andrew Lloyd Webber said he expected his children to make their own livings and wouldn't necessarily rely on inheritance for their upkeep, although I am sure his fame has helped some of them establish themselves (and one child passed away after having some moderate artistic success).

As for Madonna, the ones who are adults (Rocco, Lourdes and David) at this point have had varied amounts of success. Rocco has probably done the best so far, with his art career, although his parents' fame surely helped him in many ways.
