Demanding trans women participate in women's sports was really going too far--it just made no sense. Even the eminently sensible trans US Representative Sarah McBride (D-MD) has admitted this.

[quote] Civil liberties advocates plan to appeal.

Perfect. Let’s destroy another election with an issue that affects 0.01 percent of the population.

If you have a dick and balls, or had a dick and balls, you should not be competing against women in sports.

Nassau county, aka where NYPD move to get away from the coloreds.

Tracks.

Who is the old tranny granny in the pic?

And the democratic party is still delighted to lose another election over this nonsense

And all of DL's numerous anti-trans queens simultaneously just came in their manties.

Gee, I wonder how long it will be before I get a time out from our delicate, hot house flower, hyper-sensitive snowflakes.

The way I look at it, I've haven't done my job unless I offend the anti-trans crew.

Kamala lost in 2024 because she couldn’t clearly define what a woman is when asked—fearing offense—which ended up alienating many voters. It wasn’t the sole reason for her loss, but it certainly didn’t help.

Fairest sporting event would be "Transgender vs Transgender." This would eliminate all the fuss.

by Anonymousreply 8October 6, 2025 11:47 PM

Chicks With Dicks and those whose Three Piece Sets have been chopped off, shouldn't compete with real women. END OF STORY.

About half of insured Americans are about to lose an ACA credit that will triple their premiums next year, so it's lovely that the GOP is laser-focused on whether underage girls have a real vagina.

by Anonymousreply 10October 6, 2025 11:51 PM

Good. It’s common sense.

My front hole stinks!

Kamala lost in 2024 because she couldn’t clearly define.... how her administration would differ from the that of the deeply unpopular incumbent.

by Anonymousreply 13October 7, 2025 12:46 AM

Is it common sense to elect a convicted felon/child rapist/violent narcissist with pathological tendencies/habitual liar as POTUS, R11?

by Anonymousreply 14October 7, 2025 12:52 AM

R14 what’s your deal?

by Anonymousreply 15October 7, 2025 1:41 AM

I always thought trans women wanted to embrace their new femininity, and finally leave the butch stuff behind. Why do so many want to be athletes?

Many of us “normies” in the Democratic Party—as well as many libertarian-leaning voters—have no issue with transgender people living their lives freely and authentically. But when the movement to include transgender women in women’s sports, particularly at the college level, gained traction, it crossed a line for many. The case of Lia Thomas brought this issue into sharp focus.

Thomas, a trans woman who had been a mediocre swimmer in the men’s division, quickly rose to the top ranks in women’s competition. To many, that outcome felt unfair to the young women who had spent years training and sacrificing for those same opportunities, only to face an uneven playing field.

Rather than acknowledging these valid concerns, much of the far left doubled down, forcing the entire Democratic Party into a defensive posture. Even Democrats like Rep. Seth Moulton in Massachusetts, who voiced concern, faced backlash from within the party. In the end, this unwillingness to engage with reality damaged the party’s credibility—and it continues to do so today.

This argument used to hush any concern people express about trans in sports, or women's spaces in general, is rather disingenuous. Sure, the actual number of trans is minor, but that number refers to actual transsexual people, people who've been diagnosed & medically transitioned & are living lives opposite of the sex they were born. The transgender movement was very clever to change vocabulary from transsexual to transgender, terminology that allows flimsier inclusion & greater numbers of people who are now victims in need of unfettered, unquestioned social reconciliation. As a result pride events, gay publications & advocacy groups, gay imagery, culture & dialog have all become consumed with trans ideology. So while the usual defense against anyone who voices concern about the omnipresence of the trans issue is "the actual figure of actual trans people", those who dish it out fail to acknowledge that hype far outweighs the actual number of trans for very deliberate & strategic reasons. They know that this discussion is always ongoing because the talking points are constantly being reinforced & politicized by entities that may in reality represent a very small group of the population but knowing create the chatter that's questioned. So when groups like everyone from nefarious MAGAs to rationally minded individuals started questioning the agenda the new trans advocates were presenting, their defense became "Why all this attention given to such a small group of people!?" They're well aware of the disproportionate correlation between the numbers & the discussions taking place. Again, a very disingenuous defense.

Lia Thomas for Senate! any state will do.

by Anonymousreply 19October 7, 2025 2:08 PM

This is such a complex realm—biologically and socially—so complex that most people who aren’t affected just want to hear a simple explanation.

The right is expert at that and creates the phrase “No men in girls’ sports.” This is enough for most people . It’s nowhere near explains the issues involved. Reminds me of “marriage is between a man and a woman”— but there are so many gays, even in almost every family, that people don’t want to see their relatives be reduced to second -class citizens.

[quote]Thomas, a trans woman who had been a mediocre swimmer in the men’s division but still kept his cock and nuts, quickly rose to the top ranks in women’s competition.

FIFY.

by Anonymousreply 21October 7, 2025 2:23 PM

Seriously R20? It’s not the same and TRA’s try to say they are similar but they aren’t. Marriage equality activists were able to show and prove that same sex marriages had no affect on anyone else’s marriage. It was a matter of fairness. Trans women/men in women’s sport is a matter of unfairness.
