I really enjoy his YT channel because it has actual and practical advice on laundry. Today gave him a segment and it was indeed like going to Laundry College. Only thing not touched on is his love of Downey Rinse and Refresh, which he says is a must to replace fabric softener.
Amazing how someone can get famous telling people how to pour laundry detergent into a washing machine.

R3, it' not about how, it's how much.

Very few people's clothes get so soiled you'd have to turn it into a science. Dump some detergent in and wash them on Cold.

If he doesn’t preach line drying, then he ain’t shit.
Line dried laundry lasts longer, smells great, and is totally free.
And line dried laundry doesn’t have to be outside.

I watched OP’s video and learned more than I’d expected to. (Though I had already known that the recommendations on the container for how much detergent to use are ridiculous.)

R6, he does peach line drying but I'm in Southern California. How long does line drying take in cold climates?

I’m a Patric Richardson fan, The Laundry Guy who used to be on HGTV. Not because I give a hoot about laundry. I just think he’s cute.

R5, but that's just it. Laundry is a science.
