The hair dye is ok for now. It still looks passable. Hair dye on men after a certain age becomes a problem; actually makes you look older. That and the use of ridiculous shades of dye that end up looking super fake.

I think one of the issues is that the wife is very young-looking while Chris can pass for being older. When they started dating, she was 24 but looked like she was 19, while he was 40 and could have passed for 45.

It's an important lesson for all of us, darlings: having a younger partner can put a spring in our step but can also make us look old and decrepit in contrast.
