I've been here for seven years. I've posted over 1,100 threads in that time, and have haunted this place like a bad cheese-burp. Those colorfully alliterative headlines? That was me. The trashy stories from HuffPost Personals? Yo. The Beth Jarrett troll and the Patsy Ramsey troll? That was occasionally me. I gave input on finance, history, architecture, sitcom trivia, and the differences between velvet and velveteen. I used to really enjoy this place.

But I'm done with DataLounge. Along the way, I've apparently upset a handful of super-trolls, and I'm almost always in a blue-bar timeout now. So they win. Another colorful contributor is leaving. And I'm not leaving because I've been "bullied" or run out of the trailer park like a pregnant teen. I'm leaving because DL refuses to fix this broken "self-moderating" system that's been so utterly abused by the super-trolls. So enjoy a little less talk about culture and John Waters references, and a little more talk about THE TRANZ. It seems to be all that's allowed nowadays.

To the whackjob queens and caftan-farters who made this place special: I know you'll move on soon, too. And you'll take that color with you, because that's who you are. Keep living like a real-world version of Pee-Wee's Playhouse. The world needs it. I'll see ya at the swap meet!

Lately, I've been getting more and more time outs.

On August 22nd, I sat down to DL and attempted to post but couldn't. I thought I had been given a time out but turns out my membership expired that day.

I really didn't want to pay a membership fee, only to be banned, so from 8/22/25 to 9/22/25 I never posted.

On 9/22, I paid the 1.99 fee and reupped. Within 24 hours of logging back on, I had received a 3 day suspension. I was able to post for about 5 days, then received another 3 day suspension.

This is total bullshit, and I'm with R7: fuck that drunken, drug addicted cunt Muriel and fuck that cunt troll Gerg/DeFucktardo.

But for the duration, I'm going to do my damned best to make sure I irritate the hell out of all the anti-trans trolls, and the MAGA sycophants/cocksuckers who lurk here.
