'Dying for Sex' on FX--anyone watching?
Starring Michelle Williams with sidekick friend Jenny Slate.
Michelle has incurable stage 4 metastatic breast cancer and decides she wants to leave her obnoxious, nebbish husband who hasn't touched her in 3 years to embark on a massive fuck-fest for her last days.
I just finished the 1st episode--amazing soundtrack, very charming. Jenny Slate isn't too much. Michelle Williams is adorable and somehow looks 26. I'm excited because I sense there will be a LOT of hot man-ass in this series.

That sounds tough. I like Williams, but I don’t want to see this.
I’m a fan of Michelle, but I don’t always under her choices.

R1 Ever hear of a little show called The Bear? That's on FX. They're still killing it. I don't think they've ever put out a bad show.

R2 Why do you think this would be a bad choice for her?

Whatever work Michelle has had done is flawless and totally undetectable. She really does look incredible for 45. She's starting to resemble a very young Dianne Weist.

r4 i wasn't dissing FX...I truly didn't know they were still around.
I did watch The Bear for the first season and then one show of the 2nd season, but I did that through Hulu. I guess I didn't realize The Bear was on FX through Hulu. It's confusing.
I need to get something to eat now.

It's so good. I lost a friend to cancer like this and the show was damn near cathartic. Can't recommend it enough

R8 Yes, I am LOVING it. So much better than I thought it would be. I love the D/s and how it's more about learning to get comfortable with expressing needs and boundaries/facing your fears and traumas as opposed to just "hot sex". It's so honest and realistic. And I LOVE her chemistry with Rob Delaney and Jenny Slate.

I fell for DLs hating Michelle Williams. Which was dumb. I'll be a fan forever now. Did she get an Emmy nom for this?

Just binge watched the entire thing today. What an absolutely gorgeous, perfect show. I can't stop crying. Both Michelle and Jenny better get recognized for their work here.
