Julie Andrews is 90 today

This really makes me feel old.

And why does she adamantly REFUSE to come out of the closet at HER age?

I’ve been meaning to watch Duet for One for a while now. Maybe I’ll do that tonight since it’s her 90th.

I didn’t get much out of The Tamarind Seed, but she and Omar Sharif had good chemistry.

Liam Neeson looks positively trollish and downright goofy in that pic. His looks improved with age.

(I've never seen that movie).

I sent her a bottle of Jean Nate and a nice blouse.

FYI: "The Sound of Music" and "Victor, Victoria" on TCM tonight in her honor.

Good for her! She took an amazing amount of shit through her career for no good reason.

I adore her. Protect her at all costs.

This makes the OP feel old ? What about Johnny Mathis turning 90 yesterday or Angie Dickinson turning 94 ?

by Anonymousreply 8October 1, 2025 8:32 PM

I shall send her a pink parasol for her birthday!

Julie Andrews was an enormous part of my childhood.

Although I love Johnny Mathis and Angie Dickinson, and they may have been important for your childhood, they were not for mine.
