In short, one of the killers is suspected to have been repatriated to Australia with a new identity. Unlike the other killer, he has not had any further criminal history. He was also assumed to be gay and in a long term radio shop.

Now an Australian woman suspects she may be married to him.

The biggest mistake the British government made was releasing the booking photographs of the two killers. If they had to give them special custodial treatment and new identities, there was no point.

I don’t think anyone who was alive at the time and who didn’t see the images of the two boys were not horrified.

Can there really be a mastermind among 10-year-olds? It seems like a story one set of parents would use to make their son look less guilty and blame the other psycho kid.

Mastermind as in it would never have happened without him, r5. He also had genuine psychopathology. And I think he's the one who's been in trouble since.

The thing is, we will never know if JV would acted alone or not.

It’s not like RT started teasing the kid then did ran off after realising they weren’t going just, I don’t know, engage in some “milder” bullying (This was a two year old toddler it is very difficult to think about what “milder” bullying could be, it’s not like he had lunch money to steal, or could understand them if they were verbally abusing him). It may not have been his idea but RT was still involved beating a baby body to death.

The ringleader thing doesn’t ring true to me. JV’s crimes were involved in possession of images of children and what was reported to be a manual. He is obviously mentally sick beyond repair but his later crimes were not abuse or assault or murder.

They killed as a pair.
