In a scathing assessment of Trump's performance, Lawrence says in disgust: 'Donald Trump has lost his mind.'
Every day is the stupidest day until tomorrow.
The madness of Donald Trump. Mentally incapable. A very dangerous situation.

Trump dragged those generals from all across the globe to see first-hand and up close that an insane, dementia-riddled blathering idiot inhabits the presidency.
The generals should now proceed to act accordingly.

Yes. This may be a case where Trump's hubris comes back to bite him. I know, I know, but what I mean is, while Hegseth's speech was nasty and pointless, it was Trump's speech that will probably concern the brass more and may lead to some of them working against the administration. No way to sit through that and not think the President isn't mentally capable of still leading. If they weren't aware of how crazy and mixed up his mind has become, they are now.

Those general and admirals demonstrated their discipline today. "Acting accordingly" means they will go back to their posts and do their jobs. They aren't going to plan a coup. They are all students of military history, and they know that once the military asserts itself into politics there is no going back. After a military takeover no civilian government will ever be seen as legitimate -one side or the other will harken back to the coup and say we need to "restore" our government. But these are honorable people. I suspect nearly all of them would resign in the face of immoral and unlawful orders, such as occupying American cities or actually engaging with civilians.

R3. And that's exactly what the nefarious, sinister and criminally incompetent Trump and Hegseth have planned for the military.

R3. Trump suggests using ‘dangerous’ US cities as ‘training grounds’ for military

Can you imagine how those generals felt being lectured to like children? By an ex-Fox host?

By an ex Fox host wearing UNPOLISHED BROWN SHOES?

“Every day is the stupidest day until tomorrow.”
Can I use this for the rest of my life?

I suffer from second hand embarrassment and could only watch those clips ten seconds at a time. Utterly embarrassing. This was a very serious meeting and Trump showed he is incapable of comporting himself accordingly. He’s a one trick pony. World leaders, top generals and Butler county yokels are all addressed the same.

I'm reposting what I wrote in another thread: If any of them watched the dum 🚽 speak today in front of all those military leaders and didn't cringe, well, FUCK them!!!! Today was one of the most disgusting displays of stupidity ever!!!

Dear Leader's handlers didn't dope him up enough to make him coherent.

How on earth can Trump and Hegseth survive this shit show? 25th doesn't work because the cabinet is stacked with cowardly greedy ass-lickers?
by Anonymous | reply 12 | October 1, 2025 9:55 PM |
Trump and Hegseth will not only survive but prosper, R12.
It's the United States and its military that will not survive this shit show.

Thank you for your attention to this matter!

"Dateline: White House" went *there* this afternoon, describing how new behind-the-scenes questions have emerged, concluding the commander in chief is not okay.
Following his address to the generals and admirals donald is more openly being referred to as unwell, unhinged, unnerving and bizarre.
Going back to his first term, people are remembering questioning his fitness then, but felt that those close to him would keep him contained. His staffers shared pacts to assist each other. Mattis, Kelly, Mille and others tried to warn us.
However, the people around him today just don't care. There is no collaboration among them to keep tabs on Burnt Orange. They are either true believers or opportunists.
The major concern is a president's having sole authority to use nuclear weapons. Many haven't known this or thought much about it. Nixon once said "the president can walk out of the room and 15 minutes later 100 million people are dead." Harrowing!
Don't shoot the messenger.

I’m sure there is something behind the scene holding back the nuclear powers when the president is insane. There has to be a contingency plan there from way back. Has to be.

There is. During his first administration, those sensible people spoke about it.

The very definition of "hopium".

There are safeguards. An extensive line of people which the order needs to pass through first.

Tackle him to the ground before he blows up the world.

Trump has no idea how to physically fight. He could be overcome rapidly.

But the stench from his diaper can kill.
