Grand Prix (1966 film)

Any fans of the 1966 epic sports drama directed by John Frankenheimer that follows the lives and personal dramas of four Formula 1 drivers trhough a fictionalized version of the 1966 F1 season?

Featruing an ensemble cast that includes: James Garner, Yves Montand, Brian Bedford, Antonio Sabàto Sr., Toshiro Mifune, Jessica Walter, Françoise Hardy and EVA MARIE SAINT.

The race scenes are pretty wild and Antonio Sabàto was such a dreamboat in it. Fell in love with his cocky character.

Read James Garner's autobiography. He writes a lot about the filming and was disappointed that it wasn't a bigger hit. I watched and he's right, it's a great movie and he was an incredible driver

James Garner was one of the sexiest men to walk the Earth.

Love this movie. Lots of hot guys and I love the costumes. James Garner was incredibly handsome.

How is Jim Rockford supposed to drive that sports car with that gigantic head?

If you're a fan at all of James Garner read his autobiography. You will fall in love. He was the real deal. Better guy than even Newman

Brian Bedford who played the British driver - loosely based on Jim Clark - was gay (in real life)

He was the gayest gay who ever appeared on Frasier. That’s saying something!

This past weekend, TCM ran a 1964 movie called "36 Hours" starring Garner and Rod Taylor.

Both of them were at the peak of male good looks.

Ryan Reynolds and Ryan Gosling are so bland and boring compared to Garner and Taylor.

^ 36 Hours also starred EVA MARIE SAINT
