Woman In Love may be the best song she ever recorded. Certainly of her non-Broadway catalog. I mean..... Barry Gibb & Robin Gibb wrote a great song, Babs sings the hell out of it and Barry's production/arrangement is just... perfection. It seems like she didn't perform this song live very much and when she did it paled in comparison to the recording. Am I mistaken?
Did Babs 💅ever do a great live performance of Woman in Love?

Actually "The Love Inside" is her best recording.

She did it a few times for her European concerts.

Too schmaltzy for me, R1. And I know that's saying something when it comes to Babs.

It’s a right she defends to not sing that song!
Over and over again!

Ew.

Thanks, R6. It's.. not bad... especially considering her age at the time... but... man... would have been amazing to have a live performance with great session musicians and background singers performing it when she still had her late 70s / early 80s voice.

And, in case it wasn't obvious, I meant late 1970s/early 1980s voice. Not her 70-something or 80-something age voice.
