The only reason why she's "going hungry" is because she's stupid.

This didn't need to happen. She just needed to figure out that she was living above her means -- like back in 2020 -- when she could no longer afford to pay the property taxes and HOA fees on her condo. She could have taken steps to sell the condo back then -- on her own -- and have been in total control of the situation, then downsized to something far more affordable, perhaps even a senior rental. This would have allowed her to pay off the two loans, avoid all the HOA fees and penalties that have mushroomed due to non-payment, and retained the leftover equity in the condo.

As for going hungry, she can probably take advantage of one of those local SOCIALIST programs like the Sova West Food Pantry a couple miles from Century City or go to the Hollywood Food Coalition Community Dinner program that's just a little more than a mile from her wonderful Hollywood Museum.

Unfortunately, it seems like anyone that leaves a comment or sends her a DM with any constructive information gets blocked. It’s very sad how crazy she is because I don’t think there’s any helping her at this point.

Our BrendaD says she was "half evicted" as she was locked-out, but her property remains in the unit. I don't believe "half evicted" is a legal term. I'm finding the following on California evictions on google:

"In California, after a sheriff-executed lockout following an eviction, you typically have 18 days to claim your possessions from the landlord or property manager, who must provide notice of the inventory and reasonable access to reclaim your belongings."

If BrendaD was legally locked locked-out by the sheriff on 09/16 as she stated, she has until 10/4 to claim her stuff. I don't believe the new owner of the condo has to store her junk forever. Of course, BrendaD makes up her own rules as she goes along. She's still waiting for her property settlement from her Hawaii divorce over 19 years ago.

I know someone following this thread has knowledge of the law regarding real estate (other than googling like I do). What happens next in the real world (vs BrendaD's head)? Can they throw her stuff out after 18 days?
