She has a really pretty face. I know you hear that all the time, and I've heard a few people say that about Chrissy Metz (I don't agree), but in Honey Boo's case, if she lost weight, I think she has a shot at looking really beautiful.

It is shocking to me that someone who is going for nursing wouldn't at least consider taking GLP-1s to lose weight. I did for about 6 months and lost 60 lbs. It cost me $300 per month and it was worth it.

Anyone else here surprised she's in college? Good for her - but I saw a more depressing path for her.

Good for Honey Boo-boo. Nursing school is not easy, and can lead to a solid middle-class income and lifestyle. I wish the best for her. Honestly, with her background, and being thrust into the limelight as an object of pity & derision, I didn't expect many good things for her. I hope she pulls a Jamie-Lynn Spears (minus getting knocked up by some loser at a tender age): finds a normal guy to marry, stays out of Hollywood, just stays in a smallish southern town in a nice-enough house with a white picket fence.

I need to rewatch the South Park with butter 'n sketti and Cartman in a mobility scooter. I laughed my ass off on that one. 🤣

Good for her, to not put her eggs in one basket or look for a get rich quick scheme.

I'm glad Alana is aiming for nursing, that's admirable. I hope she succeeds and outlives Mama June the Human Thumb. That said, two decades ago nursing schools wouldn't accept obese applicants for physical fitness reasons, but considering the current severe nursing shortage they're probably desperate.

Just keep her away from a specialty or intensive care, at least in the beginning...
