Mariah Carey’s New Album “Here for it All”

Released September 26th, 2025

I gave it a listen and enjoyed it, liking it overall. “Nothing is Impossible” is a great ballad, and “I won’t Allow it” is a bop. Thoughts?

Mariah sounds flat in the song at R1. Quite flat. Off key. WTF.

by Anonymousreply 4September 28, 2025 12:09 AM

Is she still fat?

by Anonymousreply 5September 28, 2025 12:13 AM

OP absolutely NO ONE says "bop" anymore, gramps.

by Anonymousreply 6September 28, 2025 12:14 AM

Snoozefest

by Anonymousreply 7September 28, 2025 12:14 AM

R4 I don’t think she’s flat. Her voice has changed and she now sings in a lower register. Just different and an adjustment to listener’s ears after being used to hearing her belting high notes for years.

by Anonymousreply 8September 28, 2025 12:15 AM

Can it still be a banger, r6?

by Anonymousreply 9September 28, 2025 12:16 AM

Debuted at #1 on ITunes. Dethroned Cardi B.

Mariah can't still pull big numbers 35 years into her career.

by Anonymousreply 10September 28, 2025 12:21 AM

[quote] Mariah can't still pull big numbers 350 lbs. later into her career.

FTFY

by Anonymousreply 11September 28, 2025 12:22 AM

r10 She can't?

by Anonymousreply 12September 28, 2025 12:22 AM

By "it all" she means photoshop, apparently

by Anonymousreply 13September 28, 2025 12:23 AM

Mimi needs to focus on her holiday hits and forget about new pop music.

by Anonymousreply 14September 28, 2025 12:32 AM

I love Mariah as much as any 90s Queen could. I do hate that she’s a delusional alcoholic though. Nobody wants to hear new music from her outside of the demented lambs.

You were a legacy act now, sweetheart. Embrace that or just sit in your mansion, sip red wine, and have your nails done all day. It will make a little difference to us in the end.

You have proven yourself and I hate that you don’t have a family and never had a family to rely on emotionally. Just be well and stop listening to the yes queens. You don’t have another number one in you.

You didn’t smoke it away in a pipe black Whitney. You won Mariah. Wake up and smell the coffee and enjoy it.

by Anonymousreply 15September 28, 2025 12:35 AM

Like Whitney*

Rest in peace our dysfunctional and addicted diva.

by Anonymousreply 16September 28, 2025 12:37 AM

She's a great, big, jolly lady now!

by Anonymousreply 17September 28, 2025 12:37 AM

She’s too old for this shit.

by Anonymousreply 18September 28, 2025 12:38 AM

I refuse to allow listening to Aged Mimi's album affect my opinion of it.

by Anonymousreply 19September 28, 2025 12:40 AM

Nobody’s checking for new Mariah bops.

by Anonymousreply 20September 28, 2025 12:42 AM

I'm definitely here for a new Mariah bop!

by Anonymousreply 21September 28, 2025 12:44 AM

To be fair, she doesn't need another number one. She has 19 and second to the Beatles.

She gets guaranteed bank every year off that Xmas song without having to lift a finger. Incredibly smart.

You're right she doesn't need to do this. She's fared the best out of all the 80's and 90's females. She should realize that.

by Anonymousreply 22September 28, 2025 12:45 AM

She has personally scrubbed the internet of all of the FAT MARIAH images that used to be there!

by Anonymousreply 23September 28, 2025 12:47 AM

R15 I don’t think she expects this to top the Billboard Hot 100 or be a huge success. I’ve come to really like Mariah in recent years. She plays up the Diva image because she knows that’s what the general public wants, but she has shown herself to be surprisingly self aware in interviews over the last couple of years and in her book.

by Anonymousreply 24September 28, 2025 12:50 AM

She’s also surprisingly fun on social media and displays a sense of humor.

by Anonymousreply 25September 28, 2025 12:52 AM

Thoughts on that ballad single at R1,

- She’s 56 now. Voices age. She cannot belt any of those 1990-1996 hits anymore, not in their original key.

- really nice warm intimate vocal tone on these contralto verses though. She sounds like a long lost DeBarge sibling of indeterminate gender beaming in from 1985.

by Anonymousreply 26September 28, 2025 12:54 AM

r26 It's also boring as hell

by Anonymousreply 27September 28, 2025 1:54 AM

She’s here for the fascism? Way to go!

by Anonymousreply 28September 28, 2025 1:55 AM

[quote] She's fared the best out of all the 80's and 90's females. She should realize that.

No one else passed out ice cream on TRL.

by Anonymousreply 29September 28, 2025 3:48 AM

It’s weird that Mariah has had an extraordinary career but only her Xmas song has any potential to be remembered after her career is over.

Radio doesn’t play any of her other songs

by Anonymousreply 30September 28, 2025 3:49 AM

R30 I hear “We Belong Together”, “Fantasy”, and “Always be my Baby” on the radio regularly on mixed variety stations.

by Anonymousreply 31September 28, 2025 10:07 AM

Man, y’all are gonna be brutal when Madonna releases her auto-tuned, vocoder-laden disco bop.

by Anonymousreply 32September 28, 2025 10:30 AM

Why is this white woman singing colored sex music!

by Anonymousreply 33September 28, 2025 10:40 AM

Mariah should go into the foundation garment business.

by Anonymousreply 34September 28, 2025 11:21 AM

Does FAT help female singers? It seems a lot of great big fat ladies can really belt it out.
