I'm bored by this. I was hoping it was like Wayward Pines, that was a mind fucker.

How did that end R3? I gave up half way through. Did it actually end or was it canceled?

Link, OP?

I know, R3. I can’t believe this is stretched over 10 episodes. If you’re wondering if it’s overhyped, it is.

I couldn't get through the first episode, and I thought Toni Collette deserved an Oscar for Hereditary.

It lost me at "Mae Martin".

I watched the whole thing and came away really disappointed by the end. First, I'm not sure why this was set in 2003 but it's hard to believe a small town would be so immediately accepting of a trans cop back then. There were also glaring anachronisms like Martin using the term "dad bod" and some of the soundtrack choices. Really no one caught those? Beyond that, there was a ton of set up showing how the girls ended up at the camp, which was ultimately completely unnecessary. Worse, it didn't track with what came later. For instance, would Abbie's concerned parents really have shipped her off and then never bothered to check in on her? Would Leila's uncaring mom really have mortgaged the house to "help" her? We also spend 6 episodes seeing the kids being mistreated and Leila being defiant and then she has one session with Toni Collette and changes her opinion on a dime. Her rationale was so poorly established that I literally rewound to see if I'd missed something. But, no, it was just bad writing. Beyond that, there were too many other ambiguities (Were Leila's memories real or planted by Collette? Was Laura supposed to be the villain or the town's savior? I could go on...) that the whole thing felt like a waste of time in the end. Speaking of wasted, Toni Collette is a great actress but even she couldn't save her one note character.

Did Toni Collette do this as a favor? Did they blackmail her in some way?

Very disappointing ending. I was hoping the trans cop and his dog and baby would split and why did he just leave his little dog? Did Evelyn go crazy at the end? The weird wife is just setting up a new cult where they are in their house all the fucking time? Hubs should love that. What happened to Leila and the other kids? Psycho killer, monkey faced chick gets a family?
Needs a S2 for resolution. They don't even need Evelyn. She can be shot strapped in a psych ward.

Did Evelyn OD? Will Alex get busted for what he did to his partner in the last episode? Most importantly, what will happen to Rabbit?
