A lot of actresses mistake their countless pics and articles in the press with actual popularity and box office draw.
Actresses get so much more visibility - magazine covers, cosmetic ads, home/garden articles, wedding discussions, what dresses they wore, etc.
Male actors don't get a fraction of the ink and copy that actresses get just for being famous.
And then they mistake that for equating to where they think they should be in a pecking order. JLo's press machine was inescapable for almost 10 years - it was so fucking much. But she pushed that.
