"English Teacher," Season 2 premieres tonight on FX

Any idea why FX is dumping three episodes at a time? I thought the first two S2 episodes were just meh, but the third was much better, thanks to Micah Stock's very funny performance as an 80-20 guy (80% gay-20% bi) who was not putting up with Evan's trying to out him (and rightly so). I hope the show brings his character back.

Also, Evan's Superman curl bugs and is the Continuity Fairy's nightmare.

I like that Brian Jordan Alvarez is weirdly hot but that the series never tries to oversell that, given that he's also a small, slight, and unconventional looking guy.

I don't know why, especially considering all 10 episodes of season 2 are available for streaming on Hulu.

We didn’t think the first ep was so strong. Haven’t tried the others yet.

I've been a big fan of BJA, particularly on Will & Grace and his many YouTube series which were odd, funny, sexy and subversive. I also enjoyed the first season of ENGLISH TEACHER. But these first three episodes of ET's second season were ca-ca. Not good, kind of a mess. (Agreed with above, short of Micah "80%-20% Stock in episode 3.} Like no .one knew what to write about. And most of the students are NOT interesting, at all.

I’ve only seen the first episode. I I thought it was pretty great. I’m surprised at the tepid response here.

I’m liking the season. The actress playing his mom was a hoot, and the military guy in episode 6 was HOT. Apparently he’s also in that upcoming gay military show, Boots, on Netflix. Brian Tyler Moore.

That guy’s Instagram is filled with Bible verses.

We've only got the first three episodes so far here, in Canada, with three more coming in a day or two. The first two were fine but I thought the third one was hysterical, maybe among the best ones in the entire run of the show. Very "Curb Your Enthusiasm"-like.

I thought the 80/20 gay/bi guy was hilarious. The boyfriend is annoying.
