Trump, Epstein Hold Hands, Prance In National Mall Statue Send-Up
Donald Trump may keep trying to downplay his connection to Jeffrey Epstein, but some people aren’t ready to let it go.
A 12-foot statue of President Donald Trump and sex offender Jeffrey Epstein holding hands and prancing together was erected on the National Mall early Tuesday.
Three plaques appear alongside the satirical faux-bronze statues, courtesy of a mysterious group that goes by the name The Secret Handshake. The plaques note the statues are “in Honor of Friendship Month” in September.

“We celebrate the long-lasting bond between President Donald J. Trump and his ‘closest friend’ Jeffrey Epstein,” one plaque reads.
Other plaques feature quotes from a bawdy birthday card Trump apparently once gave Epstein.
In a statement to HuffPost on Tuesday, the anonymous leader of the Secret Handshake said the statues speak for themselves.

“No one else publicly that we know of partied with Donald Trump, traveled with Donald Trump and visited at Mar-a-Lago just as a friend, not just as an associate. Since this is Friendship Month, we wanted to celebrate what is presumably, at least publicly, Donald Trump’s only true friend,” the group’s leader said.

Statue Trump isn't fat enough, nor can he lift his leg like that in real life.
Still, a brave effort.

It would be child pron, but them performing an Eiffle Tower on a 12 year old would be more accurate

Then, at the end of the month, send the statue on a flatbed, nationwide tour through the blue and purple states.

So this was put up pursuant to a permit. But despite the permit, the Trump and Epstein statues were taken down the next night …
… not the first time Trump has had Epstein eliminated in the dead of night.

Meanwhile, Trump continues to pull out all the stops to keep the Epstein files from the public:

Why do people keep pushing this Epstein bullshit? What is the point of it?
Every American already knows Donald Trump is a rapist and violent sexual predator. They also know he's a convicted felon and pathological liar.
Yet 80 million Americans think he's a swell guy and voted for him anyway, because despite all of Trump's "shortcomings," he was far superior to that colored woman.

To hold powerful people accountable and deliver some semblance of justice to victims. I'm open to the possibility that the files won't implicate Trump at all -- but if not, he's going to great lengths to protect other people and/or countries, and the American people deserve to know who they are.

R11 that's not unexpected of course, but the damage is already done. This has been reported in so many places, social media and otherwise, that it is now a "the internet is forever" story. This type of mockery and comedic protesting is exactly what enrages and frustrates Trump and the GOP. They do not like being perceived as being idiots or fools, or made fun of so blatantly, because that dilutes their illusion of having power. It's a win-win for all of us. Also, any rage-pressure on Trump's failing health can only benefit us eventually. (If you know what I mean.) (And I think you do.)

I've seen the "what's the point of the Epstein files" drivel a few times elsewhere yesterday and today. The hive mind got their new propaganda

Why would Trump be going to such great lengths to protect OTHER people? He only cares about himself. Occam’s Razor says that reasoning is total bullshit.

Protecting people who are illegally funneling him billions of dollars is caring about himself, R20.

"To hold powerful people accountable and deliver some semblance of justice to victims."
FYI: Trump led a violent. armed insurrection against the US government. He has yet to be held accountable for a single thing, nor have the people who aided and abetted him. The people responsible for the actual violence have all been pardoned.
Do you still really think raping teen age girls will be Trump's Achilles heel?

R19 - that hive mind is very small compared to the rest of the world, and at this point, almost 75% are bots that are being inserted en masse to try and manipulate the narrative. They don't matter. Their opinions (aka talking points) don't matter. The more the hive mind propaganda instructors tell everyone to "move on" the more it exposes how much they care that the issue remains problematic for Trump and many others.
